Whitmer/Trilby is a neighborhood about seven miles north of Toledo known for its pedestrian-friendly, walkable streets. The neighborhood is mostly made up of medium-sized, single-family homes and apartment buildings, giving renters ample choices. Whitmer/Trilby is relatively free of commercial developments, but residents enjoy the restaurants, coffee shops, and grocery stores that sit near the edges of town in places like the Miracle Mill Shopping Plaza. ** If you want a detailed review, please read this entire message. TLDR: This place is great, give them a call!** My fiancee and I were looking for a decent apartment within Toledo, as I am sure many of you are also doing if you're reading this, when we came across Tamaron Apartments/Marving Real Estate. If you're looking for a place to stay in Toledo, or the immediate area, you've probably noticed it was really hard to find a decent place that isn't in a terrible area, that isn't a run-down complex, overpriced for what you get, or full of crime, etc. Well, just stop looking now and message/call Will or Ryan of Tamaron Apartments/Marving Real Estate. These guys were the best management team I've dealt with so far. The application process was quick, easy, and painless. They made things simple and kept us informed of the process and what to expect. The apartments are clean, cozy, and set up well. I loved the square footage of the 2 bed/1 bath apartment we ended up renting. Our building (A building) was full of good people who were friendly and easy to get along with. Parking is not assigned, but generally, people have their own spots and like to stick to them. Laundry is shared, and it does cost you $2.25 to wash/dry your clothes (which I wasn't a huge fan of, but I put up with it.) The pool is great, and I never had any issues being able to enjoy it. The central air/heat was great, and I was very grateful for it during the summer months. The walls are thick, and let me tell you, you will not hear your neighbors above/below/next to you unless they drop something very heavy. The main door into your apartment is a bit thin, so you do hear people talking/walking in the hallways, but that's understandable and you do get used to it. I did have a few issues that required maintenance to visit, management was quick to respond and resolve the issues I experienced (nothing major, minor things that could happen in any place.) If you pick the apartments that are closest to W. Alexis Rd, get ready to hear A LOT of road noise. It would be hard for anyone to block out that level of noise, so it's not just this complex, but just be prepared for it should you get any of the apartments next to the road. Overall, I loved this place, and I would recommend it to anyone. Thanks for reading all this way!
From the start they were able to get me moved in fairly quickly. The property manager is very responsive and overall I can only speak for my building but it was quiet with friendly neighbors. The only reason Im moving is because I need to leave the state for work otherwise id definitely stick with Tamaron. When I moved to Toledo it was nearly impossible to find an affordable place in a decent area with a great office staff so I really lucked out living there.
I lived there for 10 years. 10 minute drive to everything you could need. The management was very responsive to the few issues I had.
I love my apartment. It’s quiet and peaceful on site. I’ve never had any issues here. We have on site security which is peace of mind. Management is very punctual and friendly.I moved away for four months and came back because this truly is the perfect place to live. shopping is close by, parking is never an issue, Great management and maintenance team and a gorgeous pool. I recommend coming in and taking a peak :)
