Property Ratings at Tanglewood Apartments
The units are not worth the price they are charging. Old appliances needs an upgrade! Poor management ; they do not notify as often when maintenance comes in and out of the apartments. They also do not answer their phone or emails when voicing a concern.

I was a resident there for about five years, while in the military. Issues I had: 1) When I first looked at the apartment I was informed the carpet would be replaced once my lease was up. Surprisingly, I was charged a carpet cleaning fee EVEN though the office agreed it would be replaced, so I tried to use my "Free service" to renew my lease for a free carpet cleaning. They gave me an excuse saying I had to give them a week in advance to use it. 2) I had a maintenance worker walk into my apartment, I just so happened to be off that day sleeping, and enter my residence unannounced without a 24-hour notice. He claimed he was "checking" apartments to see what units had washer/dryers. 3) The walls are super paper-thin. You can hear everything, EVERYTHING. You will hear conversations from the upstairs and downstairs apartments. Everything wasn't too bad overall.

The apartment complex has gone through multiple changes. The office staff can be polite but they don’t keep their word. I have been waiting for them to finish work in my bathroom for over 3 months. They sent an email saying you have to make an appointment to come to the office. I’ve never heard anything like that before. This is my second time living here. I had no problem s the first time. This second time was a horrible experience and I’m not renewing my lease and I don’t recommend anyone move here.

I’ve been a resident here for three years, and when I first got here they sold me a new renovated apartments but later found out that apartment was not available two days before my move in date. My roommate and I had to settle for the apartment with the oldest and stinkiest cabinets, it was also not clean. However, the front office staff worked well with us and accommodated us. My first year was okay, I saw one roach but pest control came and sprayed and didn’t see any more. Walls are super thin, you can hear conversations from the upstairs and downstairs apartments. I didn’t mind that much. Items were stolen from on three different occasions, one being my wallet. I spoke with the apartment about it, and nothing had been done. Even asked them if they could possibly install surveillance, nothing happened. My new neighbors smoke cigarettes and the smell was getting into our apartment, and that can be very frustrating for someone that does not smoke. The best things about the apartment is the master bed room is spacious and there is a washer and dryer in unit which is convenient, the complex is fairly quiet and people find comfort in walking their dogs and causally walking around the complex. Maintenance took care of my problems quickly when a work order was put in, and the property is good about making sure the grass is cut and the landscaping is beautiful. Sometimes the trash overflows by the dumpsters, but I think that is more on the residents than the management. This was just my experience, and I hope whomever is reading this experience was better. Is it not THAT bad, but not great either.
Do not rent here, a pet was reported in my apartment on january 21st I did not have a pet here. They did not inform me of this till march 4th. I do not have any pets. I work nights and have been in my apartment every time someone has come to my apartment. They told me it is in the lease and they documented the pet in my apartment.. no recourse. I REPEAT I HAVE NO PET.
We visited my daughter and had our small dog with us. We stayed one day and my daughter received a $300 dog fee. Ridiculous!
I am not a person who leave reviews BUT I had to for this apartment complex. Please do not waste your time or money moving here. The fronf office people are sorry. No one really assists with anything but will be quick to do random walk throughs. They advised they would be coming in to change filters. NEVER happened. I put in a work order before COVID and followed up with them because no one came out and they gave me an excuse of we cant come in your home due to COVID. The walls are super thin. We will HEAR literally everything. When maintenance does come in for a work out expect 6 or 7 people to hang around for one job. Mind you I am working from home so I could hear and see how many people were in ny home. I had to call corporate just to get work orders completed when I firsted moved in. I had mold growing and had to ask twice when someone would come out to check it. It was a horrible experience. I work hard for my money and this was just a waste of my money! Please don't fall for the low price!!!!
Great apartment complex with an impressive team of staff and very upbeat, professional property manager. I highly recommend checking them out!

My living room is very large and I have lots of windows for sunlight. Anytime I have needed something fixed maintenance was there to help. I enjoy the activities the staff has. I recommended a friend and received $200 off my rent. I plan to stay hear for a while!

Thank you so much for your feedback! We are happy to hear you are enjoying your experience at Tanglewood. Thank you for being a valued resident!
Very noisy between apartments. You can hear every footstep and conversation. The ventilation is also horrid. If someone is smoking next door it will come through into my apartment. Maintenance is spotty at best. They dont tell you if they have come to fix the issue, piece of paper saying they have been there if you were out and then find out a week later when the issue is back that it was never done. Nothing but issues.

My apartment is cozy, quite neighborhood, close to the military installation and shopping. The staff here are friendly and fast service. The maintenance team done great job on landscape and they are also great and fast on residential repairs.
I forgot to display my visitor pass one night after being very vigilant the other days and nights.I was appalled to come out the other morning to have my car towed. I was visiting helping my son out, This omission on my part cost me $236.00 (cab and towing). Tanglewood parking not friendly to visitors!
