Property Ratings at Tapestry Largo Station
Don’t make the mistake of signing a lease here. The halls reek of the smell of garbage that tenants leave outside their doors days at a time, many tenants don’t observe any of the policies in their leases (implied and explicit) including noise ordinances and smoking policies. The parking garage gate, entry doors, and elevator are routinely broken leading to unsafe conditions. Property management staff that manages the mailroom are insanely rude. You’ll struggle to retrieve anything delivered here. The apartments are full of aging outdated appliances. The rental rates are too high to provide so little value.

Horrible communication when it comes to the Leasing Office. Car break ins and vandalism. The property is filthy and not worth the price.

Don’t waste your time. You will spend more money trying to repair your car than actually paying rent. Car vandalism is very frequent.

Overall my experience has been good. I just have a very very noisy neighbor that lives over me! She can't have carpet on her floor. This is the only negative about living here.

Overall my living experience Tapestry@LargoStation has been great! The leasing office staff and maintenance department team are both very professional. As in any community, there are a few minor changes that need to be addressed and resolved. Hopefully, the pandemic will come to a complete close and the amenities will open regularly so we can interact and get to know our neighbors.

Tapestry Apartments is a great place to live, its the tenants that makes it uncomfortable because they refuse to follow guidelines! We do need our walls painted desperately!! In 6 years no painting has taken place since the owners acquired the property! Our carpet in the hallways needs to be shampooed on a regular basis!! Seasonal decorations would be really nice!!!

Tapestry at Largo has become a disappointment the best attributes about living here is the location & the Maintenance professionals they are awesome. We just lost the only person in the leasing office Mr. Chester who provided excellent customer service.

Hello, we regret to hear that your experience with us was not a more positive one. - Your Team at Tapestry Largo Station
I moved into Tapestry Largo Station right before the pandemic and stay at home order came about. The extraordinary measures the management, maintenance and cleaning staff took and continue to take to keep all residents safe showed how much they care about the residents.

I've never had any problems with the maintenance team but my living experience was awful, and until noise barriers are fixed, Tapestry Largo Station will not be able to keep good residents. Nice Floorplans but is a poorly constructed building!!!

thank you for bringing this matter to our attention. We strive to meet our residents' expectations in each and every interaction, but we regret that we fell short this time.
What can I say. Absolutely the worst. 1. The walls are paper thin. You hear everything. I mean everything. I know when my neighbor got home. I know when they wore high heels to work. I know when they had a significant other over. 2. The apartments are cute but the building itself is falling apart. The carpet is filthy from the valet trash. It needs updated painting. The doors are not secure. Neighbors do not keep their dogs on leash or pick up after them. 3. I lived in an apartment not far from here and had true valet amenities. This place charges more and provide less. You cannot get your package after 6 PM or before 11 AM. I hope you don’t have a real emergency & call anyone at the front desk. You won’t get an answer. I could go on and on but honestly I’m exhausted just thinking about this please. Save your time save your money and go someplace else

Nickel and dime is how I will describe the new Tapestry experience. I am highly irritated that not only am I paying a $4.10 transaction fee for paying my rent on their new, not so updated, portal, but I also am paying a $52.80 service fee for my bank/credit/debit transaction. This is unacceptable and will be escalated until this matter is resolved and this new fee which is higher than my water and sewer bill and nearly as much as my electric bill is removed. Ever since new management has taken over, I have found myself paying more "service fees" for lower grade service than with the original property management. To say that I am disappointed is an understatement. By far the most dissatisfied I have ever been in a living experience. My hope is that the hard working, incredible people who live here are fully reimbursed. Management is not on our side and does not look out for its residents, instead looking for reasons for you to pay more, and effectively drive out long time, loyal residents. With the number of new luxury properties going up in the area, the constantly malfunctioning garage door and entries, and the persistent vandalism, it is no wonder this complex remains a revolving door. Tapestry, you need to fix this if you expect for longevity. Again, this matter is being escalated.

Good Evening Anonymous, We are sorry to hear of your dissatisfaction of our community. We strive to ensure a positive experience for all of our residents. We sincerely request you to contact our office at the earliest convenience so we can be of further assistance.
This property has gone downhill, and exponentially since the manager left. No business center, mandatory internet and direct tv both poor. The internet SP is slow or unresponsive, and even with paying for faster speeds, working from home is still cumbersome as I am resetting my router daily. We no longer have after hours security, people use the lobby couches as beds (I am not sure if they are residents or squatters). The garage gate is constantly breaking. What used to be a competent and responsive front office, is now one that leaves you on hold indefinitely, never follows up, and slow to retrieve packages. We used to have a package tracking system which notified us when and how many packages we have in the office. That no longer exists. As a result, I went to pick up two packages I was expecting and left the office with five packages (birthday gifts sitting there for lord knows how long). If you are not aware how many packages you have, best wishes, because at times they will either say you have none or give you the first one they see without searching for others. Leasing manager and assistant manager, useless smh...that's all.. I truly miss our previous manager and leasing staff. They really made living here pleasant and tried their best to make your stay pleasant. Regarding noise, the walls are paper thin. Every Saturday, my wake up call is my downstairs neighbors fighting. Not arguing, fighting, every Saturday. I can hear people running down and halls and full conversations through the walls. Oh, the weed smell is so normal at this point that I'm surprised when I don't smell it. With the new management company, we now pay a convenience fee for paying our rent through the portal. The portal is a huge downgrade from the portal we use to have which was a convenient one stop shop. Now, pay your rent, pay a convenience fee, and receive five emails saying "Thank you for getting in touch! We'll be sure to respond to your enquiry ASAP.We look forward to speaking with you!" But they'll never contact you so it's just spam. If this is what you're looking for in your next home hurry over. They have plenty of empty apartments. Mine will be soon. This was supposed to be my last apartment before my purchase, but I can't stay here much longer

Hello, we regret that you had a negative experience with us, but are glad you brought this matter to our attention so that we can work to provide a solution to all of your concerns. As a the new property manager as of 07/08/2018, this helps me understand what the needs and concerns are in the building. I hope you give us the chance to show Avenue5 is an awesome company and we strive to give our resident the best living experience possible. Management
You can hear everything your neighbor says. You can smell drugs coming through the vents. I have to wait until 3am to get sleep because I can hear my neighbor throughout the apartment. It’s like living with other people. You hear when they get up to pee, when they argue with their girlfriend, fight, play music. I haven’t slept soundly since I moved here and he management won’t let you out your lease or get rid of tenants because they want your money. It doesn’t matter what floor you are on or what building everyone is miserable here.

Hello, We regret that you had a negative experience with us, but are glad you brought this matter to our attention so that we can work to provide a solution for you. Best Regards, Management
Can hear anything and everything through doors/walls especially while passing through the hallways, first week in our new apartment here our towel rack fell off the wall, our "hardwood floors" are actually vinyl and can get damaged as easily as using a swiffer steamer, our dog barely touched the running boards under our sink and they knocked out and slid under our sink leaving our dog exposed crawling under the sink to pull out random pieces of wood, since FEBRUARY our back patio door has NOT been sealed properly running up our electric making our one bedroom cost more than the 2 bedroom we moved out of, someimes the elevator will be down for weeks a a time (I've seen up to 6 weeks), the previous manager promised plently of gaurentees she could never keep, the shower drain gets clogged every week and always needs a deep cleaning so you must be willing to do that yourself because maintenance requests can sometimes take anywhere from 2 days to 2 weeks, there is ONE camera in the parking garage and where it is placed makes no sense, the security officers are supposedly paid to now sit and take plate numbers down of everyone who comes in and out of the parking garage (during hours such as midnight-4AM) but yet asking for cameras is asking for too much and this has not stopped ANY theft/burglary/ OR vandalism, and for some reason this place believes that we do not need cameras in our stairwells and as a woman that makes me VERY uncomfortable. As a major selling point of theirs being located right next to the metro you'd think an "upscale community" would try and provide as much safety as possible, this place essentially does not care. If you are looking to move here, SAVE YOUR MONEY. This place is only aesthetically appealing to the eye, it is much different once you are in. I would never reccomend this place to anyone.

STAY AWAY!!! This place was a nightmare from day 1. Even though one of the temps working in the leasing office (whom is no longer there, thank God), cursed me out before I even moved in, we were forced to move in since we already signed our lease. Moving on...between the lies from the people working there; the cheap materials used to build this place; our big foot neighbor above us; and the strippers hosting parties at the pool, I'm not sure which was the worst. Long story short...don't waste your money or time. Hopefully that door situation is fixed by now so the homeless man isn't caught sleeping in the lounge area again. And hopefully they did something about that disgusting trash outside that was causing huge rodents to invade the property. Or maybe they fixed the issue with people coming into the gates and stealing motorcycles and rims. Either way, good riddance.

First off this place is not all that its made out to be. Management, of course, sells you the dream telling you everything you want to hear when you're first about to move in. In most cases, all management companies lie in order to get you to rent with them... But anyways, the building was constructed very poorly!!! I live on the 3rd floor and I can literally here neighbors above me, below me, and beside me, which is insane. I can hear when my upstairs neighbors walk to the bathroom, walk to their bedroom, have guest over, wash clothes, and walk into the bathroom. I can literally hear when my next door neighbor is coughing!!! Talk about PAPER THIN WALLS!! This is unfair! These apartments are way too expensive to be hearing my neighbors. People leave their pet droppings all along the property, there are strangers who use the gym and basketball courts, the list goes on. I've complained to management and don't be fooled by management and the image of the building. Everything that glitters ain't gold. Lennar Management and the developers did a terrible job at constructing this community.

Me and my roommate moved into tapestry about 5 months ago. We were given a great deal. 6 weeks living rent free is EVERYTHING. We have not had any issues with any of out neighbors and the management team is nothing but NICE. They usually say once you sign a lease the management staff will treat you like prisoners. But that cannot be said about tapestry staff. They are all so friendly. A big plus for me was the fact that the gym is open 24 hrs. At my old place, the gym closed at 11 which caused issues when i would get home around midnight. On top of that, equipment was ALWAYS broken. The apartments are very nice here as well. They are properly insulated so you cannot really hear your neighbors unless they are having some type of party which is vey rare. MOVE HERE! You wont regret it!

Aside from the fact that this property is awesome (space, decor, amenities, etc.) the main reason I gave this property 5 stars is due to the outstanding work done by the leasing team. I have been here for almost a year and have never had any issues and have always been able to speak with someone. They try their best to get everyone involved in the community by having community events worth attending. I think this makes the community closer as now I know a few of my neighbors and I often see others conversing or hanging out. The security is nice and makes sure people are not making noise and disturbing neighbors after a certain time. Pool is nice also! Overall nice place to live, I look forward to resigning my lease!

I really like living at Tapestry at Largo station. It's conveniently located to transportation and entertainment. The building is clean and I love the management staff, very helpful and friendly. I Love wine down Wednesdays and earning points just for living here, and paying your rent on time : ) The community is very nice and I feel safe here.

My apartment is everything I wanted the hardwood floors, the space the ultra modern spacious kitchen. Location, location, location there are 3 grocery stores, restaurant park, movie theatre and Largo Town Center metro station is within walking distance, capital beltway is less than a minute away very convenient. Now i want to speak on the staff they are the absolute best so personable, professional and extremely courteous they honestly go above & beyond for the residents by addressing any issues they might be having. Devin, Stephanie and Jake are amazing they even plan events for the community: Wine Down Wednesdays, Mimosa's on Sundays, they even greeted us early one morning passed out grab and go bagged breakfasts as the residents drove out the community to leave for work. I've never lived in any apartment home community and received this type of customer service, the residents have great comradery.

I was relocated to Largo and asked around at work for the best place to live (since I was moving from out of town). I checked out a few places around the area, but Tapestry was by far the nicest/newest. I was looking for a one-bedroom and they had an awesome selection...I got one of the ones with a balcony on the courtyard. I also got garage parking included in my rent and the cable was all-ready for me on move-in day. I was worried about paying too much, but after looking around - this place is definitely worth it...by far! The management team is cool - I was able to sign a lease and move in the next week. Also, this place accepts packages and keeps them while you're at work. A few of the other places I saw didn't do that.

I usually do not write reviews however I was so impressed with the community and the staff that I felt compelled to share my experience. I have been looking at apartments in the area for a while and was very pleased with what I have found at Tapestry Largo. The leasing personnel are very professional and courteous and answered all of my questions clearly. The location is excellent with it's proximity to transportation and shopping. You can just tell about the care and thoughtfulness that went in to the design of the property with the offered amenities. Great staff, great property - this is the one!

I know you guys get a lot of flack for issues that at times are beyond your control, but not always the thanks when you go above and beyond. So...having said that, I would like to thank you and your team for the rapid response to my cooling issues. You took ownership of my issue and delivered as promised, I Know you may say that it is your duty, but myself and my family would like to thank you...we are all smiles t his evening from the cool apartment. The gentleman you sent was very courteous, patient and kind, he even had to make several trips to get the right filter for the ac unit in my apartment, he went further to show me and explained to me what happened, thereby, should there be another occurrence, I might be able to take care of it or call. In all, I want to thank you all for the team work and in our book...you guys ROCK! Thanks to the best leasing team in the area.

I moved in day one! I took the hard hat tour and kept up to day on the progress of this new place and the great amenities that it would offer. The hardwood flooring and granite counter tops and the 16' ceilings on the top floors were a big seller for me. I also like the soft close cabinetry and the stainless steel in each apartment. I was also impressed by the gym and the relax and play area. Well, I lived here for almost 5 months before it started showing its true colors! The walls are paper thin! I am on the fourth floor and I can hear my neighbor below me. I can hear my neighbor's between me. I hear when they open and close their laundry doors. I hear when they run the garbage disposal. I can hear my neighbor on the phone when I am in my bed trying to sleep and they are on the phone at two in the morning cackling. I've complained to the leasing office and they did speak to them about it but you can't stop someone from living. You can advise them to be more aware of the situation. Sad to say that lasted a very short time. I have be startled awake by the loud conversation of my neighbor. The bedroom and the living room butted up to each other not a great layout. People let the their doors slam and the slamming of the doors vibrates the walls. I can literally feel it if I am lying in bed and my neighbor lets the door slam. It will shake the wall. I am also VERY DISAPPOINTED in being forced to have Direct TV and not being given a choice of another provider. The say you are saving money. That is big fat lie! You get basic channels and I do mean BASIC that you are paying $80 a month included in your rent for. Now if you want more well, obviously you have to pay more, a lot more! The service goes out whenever it rains heavy or the winds blows too hard! I never had this issue when I had Verizon Fios. I only moved here as a layover until I was ready to buy another house. I highly disappointed and want out now! As it can come with most apartments, you will have those people who are just very inconsiderate of their neighbors. I figure for the price being paid here you would have a different caliber of people living here. Not so. Not so at all. I do not recommend living here. It is not worth the price nor the aggravation that you have to contend with. I also don't know how five stars are showing for this review when the majority of the reviews are negative.

I downsized thinking this would be better. I absolutely hate living in this community. I've been living here a few months. Things that I were told when moving in, I found out wasn't true after living here. The walls and floors are paper thin. The leasing staff gives false information they are not knowledgeable. They don't know what they are talking about. The buildings are filthy except the front lobby area. The trashcans outside are always overflowing with large birds, animals, and rats. Please do your research before moving in. This place is not worth the money they charge. Management does not address concerns of tenants. Most tenants complain of the noise level in the building.

, thank you for bringing this matter to our attention. We strive to meet our residents' expectations in each and every interaction, but we regret that we fell short this time.
I have been living here for a few months now. At first I loved it, but I have issues with some of management and their lack of knowledge and understanding for their residents. This place is definitely not worth the money. It is over priced and they built it up too fast. For as much as we pay they should have did a better job eliminating the sound effects coming from everywhere in the building. This sits right in the heart of Largo and there are several people around the area who believes this is their community also. They use up the gym and they come to the basketball court and play ball, but don't pay rent here. Management does nothing about it or care about the safety of their residents because they don't live here. Do NOT move here find somewhere else.

Im planning on moving sometime in November and decided to come take a tour of tapestry while I had some time to spare. When I came in I was greeted by Centreal. I was impressed by her because she seemed to really care about my needs. She even took notes as I was asking questions. The apartments I looked at were very nice. The size was a fairly good for someone like me. While Im not sure if ill be moving to this property. I think its worth the time to go look at. The staff really cared about my needs and even took the time to walk me through every detail of different floor plans. While talking to Centreal I mentioned that I sent a email to the property some months ago and never received a reply. She not only apologized but took notes so she could meet with the manager Monday morning. If I do decided to move in, it wont be just based on the apartments I looked at. It will be because of the 5 star service they provided.

These brand new apartments are AMAZING! For the price, you can't beat walking distance to the metro station, garage parking, retail shops on the first floor, and across from the the Cap Center. It is extremely quiet, clean, professional and luxury on a budget. I have a 4th floor unit which has 16ft ceilings in the living and bedroom. Engineered hardwood floors throughout and carpet in the bedroom. This is what I have been waiting for, an ideal location for commuting, shopping, and not too far from national harbor. I have referred 20 people here and about 9 of them are moving here.
