Property Ratings at Tara Heights Apartments
A very nice complex but you might have to say goodbye to Amazon packages. The first 2 of 2 deliveries left in the building lobby were both stolen. The 'package lockers' are in a weird out of the way location that Amazon drivers can't seem to find.
As a tenant at Tara Heights Apartments for the past seven years, I am very pleased. I have found these apartments to be exceptional places to live. They are beautifully maintained on the outside, and the maintenance crew is super responsive. I cannot say enough about how happy I have been living here. Its location is convenient, and its facilities, including clubhouses, pools, and athletic facilities, are great. I want to single out the maintenance crew for their supurb job in fixing everything that goes wrong. I rate this place as excellent.
Probably one of the worst experiences I had looking for an apartment. I emailed them for a tour they told me Thursday at 5pm. I emailed them back before the tour saying that sounded great and where I should go for the tour. No response. I got there and called the number asking where to go for the tour at 5pm. I was told on the phone that they would call me back when they can send someone up to show me and my girlfriend around. 5:50pm no one comes and no call saying they can’t send someone out. We both left work early to get here at 5 and sit there for an hour. Avoid this place, terribly ran leasing office. I can only Imagine the problems the residents have. Don’t let how nice it looks give you the assumption the customer service is the same. I’d steer clear if they can’t even schedule you for a tour or have the decency to call you back to let you know it’s canceled.
I had read reviews on other sites about some cases of how awful it was trying to get back your deposit from Tara Heights. Unfortunately these reviews turned out to be true. I'm normally the first person to be skeptical of a few bad reviews, but let me tell you my story. My wife and I moved out of Tara Heights 3 months ago. During the walk-through, the property manager saw that we left the apartment in perfect condition, no damages outside of the usual few wall scuff marks, and so he and I signed a paper and he promised we would be sent our deposit shortly. The first 3 weeks of delay were due to a lack of forwarding address (or so they told me - we gave them the address multiple times), so I gave them our new home address. 1 month after that, they claimed we never sent them a forwarding address so they sent the check to our old apartment (I mean really? come on now). At this point, I haven't had any communication or response back to my multiple emails for over 2 weeks. I doubt every single person has had the same experience as me, or maybe they do and just don't feel like writing about it. In my case I want future tenants to understand that they have to be very careful leasing here, as you might have to chase down your deposit yourself. I've rented at multiple apartment complexes and this is the only one where I have had so much trouble. The reason I didn't give a 1 star review is that the apartment complex was fine if you exclude this issue.
We are moving out after four years at Tara Heights -- making a family-related move to a distant state. The nature of my work (with regular relocations) has made me a regular apartment dweller for a long time. You would be hard pressed to find a better place than TH. Excellent management -- and I commend Janet specifically, though we've been well served by everyone on the TH office staff. Overall, our apartment has been comfortable and quiet, with due allowance for the fact that someone usually lives above you in an apartment. The high ceilings and tall windows are a real plus. The setting is beautiful, and the property is well kept. Free gym membership is a bonus, as is the walking/running trail that circles the Gateway Hills development. For the occasional appliance problem, Jeff and the other maintenance people have been tremendous. Renting a garage is a good idea if you'd like to avoid digging out your vehicle after a snowfall. And -- it is very safe here. The neighbors are good people, and I have simply not seen or heard of crime here. -- Sully
Terrible Management at the leasing office. We have made noise complaints about our neighbors upstairs running around banging on the floor and they have done nothing to remedy the problem. Its been on going for months! They simply don't care to fix the problem as long as they get your money! We have sent emails to management, spoke to numerous people in the office with numerous complaints, and even spoke to the neighbors personally!
I want to give this as a 0% rating but no option left for me to choose so I have given 1 star. We lived here for an year and when we moved out. They cheated us with the deposit. They told me that there are some scratches on the refrigerator door and when we asked for the proof they have send us a photo with complete blurred image. The best part of the image it was like a puzzle- couldn't find any sign of a refrigerator nor the scratches. So their job became easy. They claim that the entire door has to be replaced with 350$ as fine
I visited a friend for a week at Tara Heights and left with Bed Bugs. My friend reported this to the management and they said that they have a company that comes in every month for this. Kinda leads you to believe that they know there is a problem and don't tell people that are thinking of renting here. My friend is looking for a new place that doesn't have bed bugs.

Tara heights is only a few years old, very clean, open concept, better kitchen than any other place I looked at, 2 pools that are for once better in person than the pictures. Unfortunately it's kind of over priced but to me it was worth it! I love that they have a soccer field and walking trails. Very quiet place to live. Maintenance is really helpful and comes pretty much the day after you send in a request. Only thing that's missing is a park/grassy area with trees to hang out in! Also don't let them talk you into an apt that looks onto construction or has a bad view. They won't tell you about the ones that have wooded views and near the pool. We had to look ourselves online and ask specifically to see certain ones... And they were kind of weird about that. Apart from that I really do love living here and it's way better than any of the other apts I looked at in Nashua.
GREAT apartment complex. Ultra quiet and spacious with brand new modern amenities. A feeling of safety and tranquility which is irreplaceable. 2 pools , pool table at club house ( would hope for a ping pong table also) tennis court, access to state of the art gym just down the road, soccer field, theater room that seats 9. Only complaint is the winter clean up company could be better. Often times slow to clean up in the morning and they don't clear snow all the way down to the pavement.
These units are all almost the same layout. I have a 1br. Kitchen island with all granite countertops, washer dryer in unit full size stackable. There are 2 pools and clubhouses with gas grills for the community. Tons of walking trails, no smoking, no pets. Been here for 6 months and it has been great. Very quiet and clean, bright at night. Close to shopping, the highway, the pheasant lane mall and tons of restaurants. Can be a bit pricey but for a brand new unit but well worth it, 5 out of 5 stars!
This complex is perfect for those that like the finer things without having to pay wicked expensive rent to have it. The complex has 2 club houses, 2 saltwater pools, elevators, bike share, free access to an actual gym complete with tennis facilities and a multi-purpose field. There are always events going on like movies played at the amphitheater, holiday parties, car shows, and more. Unlike other apartments in the area, these are almost new with a second phase that just opened. Like to jog, run or walk? They've got you covered... There is a paved path around the entire complex extending beyond into the office park down the road. The staff is professional and friendly, not to mention the office opens early and closes late. The units were designed to be energy efficient. Each unit has a new private front-loading washer and dryer, tank-less water heater, hardwood flooring in the entry, laundry, and kitchen. The bathrooms have tile flooring. The other rooms have really comfortable carpeting. Also included are marble counter-tops throughout, a super quiet dishwasher, full-size refrigerator with ice-maker, smooth-top stove, and built in microwave. Each unit also has ample storage in the kitchen as well as an island that can also accommodate bar seating. They even put an electrical outlet on the island! The balconies are constructed with composite decking and also have electrical service.
Located off Route 3 at exit 1 convenient DW Hi-way shopping and dining. 2 clubhouses with pools, tennis courts and soccer field. Roomie apartments with large closets and in unit washer/dryer.
Great community and good deal for the amenities. New construction and plenty of amenities for the price.
Without doubt the best apartment community in all categories- location directly off first exit over Mass border, 20-30% below comparable properties, vibrant management, and all amenities within walking distance on a 400 acre campus.
