Property Ratings at Tarzana Springs
ROACH AND MOLD INFESTED. NOT LIVABLE. DO NOT MOVE HERE
Property Manager at Tarzana Springs, Responded To This Review
We’re sorry to hear about your experience. We regret that we fell short of your expectations - We value your feedback and will do our best to improve.
The apartment and property was good. My apartment was big and the amenities were great. The property looks beautiful and the pool was nice. However, a high roach problem. This issue has plagued the building. It's to bad because everything is good but everyday I would wake up to roaches everywhere. This has happening for a year and this was the main issue why I left. I talked to the manager about this and they were trying everything they can do. But, her corporate has her hand tied about the issue. It is so bad that some buildings know about the issue and when I tried to move they mentioned that I had to take serial steps to make sure I was not carrying bugs with me. There is no onsite manager and they average time to someone getting back to you can take about a few days. This is frustrating if you need help with any repairs or problems with the building I lived on the second floor and since the building was originally had carpets in the apartment, now no carpets. I can hear everything from my neighbors. It's embarrassing to have people over and you can hear your neighbors move around their apartment with the TV on. This building was good. Just went down hill. It is a shame since I was there for 4 years. Just when the bugs, no contact with the managers and the neighbors noises. It worth spending an extra 100-200 at another building. Just remember I believe that I could not move to other buildings because they fear that I would bring roaches in the building since it's known that this issue was never address. Good lick living there and be on top of management. Like I said I love how the building was set up and the apartment was great. Just these issues made me moved and I happy with my decision that I moved and not deal with everything wrong with the building.
When I first moved in I really liked this building, but now it is really bad. The new manager is awful on the phone and so difficult to work with. Even when going in the office with a issue she makes it very apparent she doesn't care. Jose is the only one who works here that is friendly and willing to help. I don't know if they stopped doing pest control as well but recently I've had a problem with cockroaches, and I keep my apartment VERY clean. I've seen the cockroaches around the hall as well. Nasty. Also they repainted the building and took down the apartment numbers so now we just have our apartment number on paper taped to our door with blue duct tape. It looks so cheap and trashy and it has been WEEKS since they were done painting.
I called to see if any apartments are available and was yelled at over the phone and hung up on
This complex has a huge problem with package theft. The front office management is completely dismissive and unwilling to help when we’ve reported packages stolen. Save yourself the trouble and look elsewhere for your next apartment.
I love Tarzana Springs Apartments. Mario and the staff always take great care and pride in the building and if ever there is a maintenance issue it is addressed promptly!

My apartment or building kind of nice, management can be better. Its cheaper rent in my neighborhood for one bedroom apartment. Thank you.
Presently doing research for January 2015 occupancy. Please continue to forward your apartment information as you have given me a tremendous education on the new area I will be moving to. If there are furnished apartments please advise as well. Thank you
