Property Ratings at Taylor Ranch
My girlfriend and I lived at Taylor Ranch “Luxury” Apartments for a year. When we first moved in, it was already quite rocky. We were missing parts of our apartment and it was impossible to get work orders done in a timely manner. To their credit, once they switched property managers, the work orders got fixed faster. However, issues kept arising while we lived at Taylor Ranch and as a result, we did not renew our lease. Some of the major issues we encountered are as follows: Had work orders open for months when we first moved in. Our apartment was dirty when we first moved in, laundry closet doors were missing, our garbage disposal did not work, the screen from one of the windows was missing, and several outlets didn’t work, as well. We had to call them to fix our garbage disposal and the guy who fixed it forgot a step resulting in our garbage disposal not working again. AC was about 20 years old. Not efficient at all, we even had them look at it and that resulted in “That’s just how they are”. In summer, our electric bill was about $250 for a one bed, one bath because of the AC. Due to the AC being horrible, we ended up having to buy 4 fans in addition to the AC constantly being on. Parking was constantly a nightmare. We ended up using the street parking on Montano Plaza until my car got broken into and robbed. There was a constant ant infestation and massive anthills in front of our apartment that we called them to help us out with. We ended up dealing with it ourselves because they put out traps once and never checked on them again. During our lease, the pool was only open 2 weeks out of the year. My car got booted and then towed because the covered parking permit was not “correctly displayed” despite me having a permit and the apartment complex having my make, model, and license plate. To top all of this off, the property manager, Valerie, accused of us of having a pitbull that attacked someone and was insistent that they “identified” us in the video. The property manager told us that she was going to file a police report against us and call animal control to take our dogs away. After coming to our apartment, they finally admitted they made a mistake and saw that we did NOT have a pitbull. I kept asking how they “identified” us and they would dodge the question. Finally, our security deposit was returned July 1st even though we vacated the apartment and returned the keys May 28th, 34 days after. So glad I’m done with this place.

I have lived at Taylor Ranch Luxury Apartments since September, 2019. I would like to take this opportunity to commend the personnel and Management. Any interactions that I have had with them has always been positive. The maintenance employees display professionalism, they are knowledgeable about the task at hand and in assuring it’s completion. The office personnel are very pleasant and very helpful whenever I’ve reached out to them.

I had lived here a year. All year round there were ants EVERYWHERE In every room. No matter how much I cleaned or had them spray. The parking lot has VERY limited. There is side street parking but my car was stolen and the staff didn’t care. There are not any cameras and there is not any security. They have fruit trees ALL over the property. Beautiful but they leave the sidewalks slippery. The staff doesn’t care about its residents at all. If you’re looking for an apartment complex where you don’t care about any of these then welcome.

When we first moved in, everything seemed perfect. Two months in and we found mice in our bathroom cabinets. Maintenance has come by, but this is our second run in with them. I have lived in ABQ my whole life and have never had an issue with mice anywhere else that I have lived. Not fun and very upsetting. The property is nice and we have loved our apartment up until this point. If you don't mind little friends around, then this place is perfect.
Where do I begin? Should I begin with the ant infestation? Or should I start with how I absolutely "loved" living with roaches? This is by far the worst place I have ever lived at and I am looking forward to the day I leave this hot mess. Carpets are disgusting and the parking lots are horrible. In conclusion, do not recommend this place to anyone you truly care about and if you have any respect for yourself, please, do not live here. You'll regret the day you signed the lease.
I lived here with my roommate for one year and experienced nothing but trouble from the staff, parking, quality of the units, and much more. From the moment we moved in we were disrespected. My roommate and I were both 21 at the time and every time we spoke with management we were talked down to and patronized as if we were children. Our unit was infested with ants year round and the issue was never resolved. We were constantly throwing away food because of this infestation, but the staff could have cared less. The units and outside environment are of poor quality. The two dumpsters are always full, and you cannot walk through the grass without being cover in goat heads. When my registration had expired management even booted my car. Before I returned home from my classes my car was gone and had been towed. Management even made leaving this terrible place extremely painful. They will screw you any way they can here. There is nothing luxurious about this place, DO NOT LIVE HERE.
We lived here for 15 years and we never had a problem with the staff nor the residence. When we need any maintenance done in our apartment Taylor Ranch staff are efficient and respectful of our privacy.
We have been here for almost a year, we really enjoy living here. This is our first apartment and the experience has been great. The grounds are very well kept, the view is wonderful and the neighborhood is safe and quiet. The office and maintenance staff are very friendly and helpful. We really enjoy living here. We highly recommend Taylor Ranch Luxury Apartments.
I have lived in my apartment at Taylor ranch for three years. It’s very quiet when in my apartment I never hear my neighbors. It’s a safe community I have never had any issues. The location is great because it is near many stores and restaurants. Whenever I have a maintenance issue it is always resolved effectively and in a timely manner. The staff is professional and knowledgeable. My apartment is spacious with lots of storage.
My husband and I have lived at these apartments for 1.5 years, and we’ve loved it. The staff is kind, helpful, and professional. The apartments are clean and feel more like small homes than apartments. Maintenance responds quickly and professionally if/when notified of an issue. The lease terms are flexible, and the rent is more than manageable for the sizes of the apts.
We decided to move to Taylor Ranch Luxury Apartments about eight months ago after looking at numerous other apartments in the area, and we made the right choice - we love living here!!! The grounds are well maintained, and we have a breathtaking view of the Sandia Mountains. The apartments are spacious, up to date, clean and very reasonably priced. Everyone we have met - both other tenants and management - have been very friendly, and the staff is always helpful and attentive, responding quickly to any maintenance need. There is a lovely pool and fitness center, and there is a real sense of community making living here a pleasant and safe experience. We highly recommend Taylor Ranch Luxury Apartments.
As a long time resident (8yrs), I wanted to give people a reason to come here. Here are some of the reasons why I recommend living here. Interaction with the office staff and maintenance staff is also important The staff is the most important element of this equation. The staff, of course, includes the maintenance people. The whole staff is courteous, caring, and get the job done. If there is a problem with the apartment which include maintenance problems, it becomes a priority. If it is an emergency, it is handled immediately. If not it is usually handled within a couple of days. Especially when it comes to maintenance. As far as security goes, the staff goes the extra mile to keep us safe. The property has hired a security patrol. They even have the periodic meeting on security which includes the does, don't and proper procedures when a security problem occurs. They also help us become part of the solution by giving us tips on what to look for which means if something seems suspicious, out of place, how to handle it without putting yourself at risk. Other nice perks are the monthly coffee club which gives everyone a chance to meet the neighbors. The pool which is a nice way to relax in the summer. A small gym with exercise equipment is another perk. The property as a whole is well-maintained. The bottom line is that Jennifer, Maria, Glenda, Luis, and Josh, the staff of Taylor Ranch keeps me here because they are the people that keep the property running smoothly. More than just staff, they make you feel that they are family.
I have been in the apartments for 4 years and I have not had any issues with the staff nor the buildings. The area is great, safe and very close to shopping and bus lines. I highly recommend these apartments.
I have lived here for over 4 years. Very low crime. A Security company patrols the complex. Lots of lighting on the outside of the apartments. The Staff is very nice and always make you fill at home. Maintenance is on top of things that needs to get fixed.
The manager Jennifer is the rudest person I've ever dealt with! As a professional you should always keep your composure at all times. This woman will yell at tenants and purposely tries to get them in trouble for things she has no proof about. The only staff that is tolerable is Glenda. She is very nice and understanding. They have mice, bugs and the property is constantly dirty! The pool is disgusting and if i would have known half the stuff I know now I would have never went near this property! I don't recommend moving here
I AM LITERALLY LAUGHING AT THE COMMENTS ABOUT THE STAFF BEING FRIENDLY HERE AT TAYLOR RANCH APARTMENTS! I am a former tenant and I left SPECIFICALLY because of the rudeness of the staff at the Office (once my lease was up). I used to be friends with a former employee there and she told me that the manager has a staff member create fake profiles to make GOOD comments/remarks about the staff. They KNOW they are rude, mean, unfriendly so they have these fake comments about how "friendly and great the customer service is".... WHAT A JOKE. If you want a really nice place with very helpful friendly office staff, go to their sister company. It's crazy that they all work with the same company, how one can be very nice and the other office they are rude! Also, the "nice" pool will be broken half the summer and the office staff will make it seem like it's just an added luxury for FREE and won't like complaints about it.
Great location and community my neighbors are so friendly. When i first came to take a tour what stood out to me the most was the great customer service! the staff are amazing and very helpful! I would recommend Taylor Ranch Apartments to anyone!
I've been here at Taylor Ranch Apt. for many years and my living experiences has been memorable. The Taylor Ranch staff are very kind. They have been very attentive to my family's needs. I would like to say "Thank you to everyone".
I have lived here for about 3 years. No crime that I know of. Lots of lights on the property. Very friendly and helpful staff. Clean apartments. Great area to live. Nice neighbors.
The Management at this Apartment Complex is awful. They will nickel and dime you for every cent you have - kiss your deposits goodbye. If there is a speck of dust when you move out, they will charge you for it. There is no direct management for the staff, so if you have any issues with them good luck trying to get them resolved. The apartments are NOT luxurious at all!! They show you a nice model apartment but when you move in, you can expect some cheap features like cabinets, vinyl flooring and carpet. Similarly, the neighborhood is pretty bad and VERY loud. Likewise, the washer and dryer are in VERY poor condition - everything is OLD and run down. Don't waste your money - go somewhere that deserves your rent.
Gym is a JOKE, almost all equipment is OLD and/or BROKE. Limited pieces as well. Just because your complex has gym doesn't mean its usable. The washer/dryer in the small 1 bedrooms are a JOKE. They are super old and outdated. You have to dry your clothes on 4 or 5 cycles just to get them warm (not dry), go to a laundry mat and spend the $2 to dry your clothes VS spending more $$ on electric bills. The outside of the apartments. The parking lot is old and needs to be redone. It has chunks of concrete missing and is a shame that the management company doesn't take care of this property. The dumpsters are ALWAYS overflowing due to too many residents and not enough trash dumpsters spread throughout the complex. To my knowledge there is only 2 dumpsters on the premises. Usually residents just throw the trashbags next to the dumpster attracting flies, pets, and other unwanted nasty things around the dumpsters. The inside of the apartments are OLD and OUTDATED! I know they were built in 1997 but feel like they were built in 1980! They are old and NOT kept up to par! For $650 for the area you would think they would make them nice and back in 1997 I am sure they were as nice as they could be but in 2015 they need SERIOUS upgrades/updates ASAP! The appliances are OLD and OUTDATED! You get a very old gas stove that is from 1985 and the fridge is about as old as the stove. The AC units are the smallest I have ever seen and most of them have a lot of rust on them and need to be replaced/upgraded. They "repair" them as often as they can with gum and tape but all kidding aside how cheap can they be when they can't replace an AC unit for a tenant that pays $650 month making $7,800 off a 1 bedroom isn't going to hurt their bottom line if they just replace the AC unit with one from this century. The carpet in these apartments are nasty. They should rip out the carpet and put in faux wood floors I am sure they would save on installing new carpet. The crown molding in the apartments is a JOKE! Its cheap and outdated. These apartments need some TENDER LOVING CARE and they are NOT getting it with this management team lead by Olga. Overall I would say RUN away from these apartments and save your $ unless you don't care and just want to throw away at least $650 in a dump like this. I would NEVER recommend this complex to anyone unless again you have $ you want to throw away and don't care about your living conditions.
Every apartment comes with its own washer and dryer! This important feature is amazing, it makes it feel more like home! With the high counters in the kitchen, the beautiful tile floors, and the crown moulding, it feels more like a custom home then an apartment!! The windows are also very large which brings in a lot of light, also, they're located in a very exclusive desirable neighborhood, so I feel special !!
This group of apartments is well maintained. Most residents are very respectful of management. The management is very interested in caring for the needs of all the residents. The occupants are mixed in age groups and I feel that makes for a well balanced family friendly atmosphere. The pool and gym as well as movie watching room is great for parties and families who want to have a small event for their young ones. The manicured planted areas and pet friendly apartments are nice on the eyes and make for comfortable living. Take a look ,it will be worth the time!
I have lived here 7 years and have never had any problems. The office team is great and maintenance is always done quickly. Great spot!
