Throughout the application process things were very enjoyable. Marley was very helpful and informative with any questions asked. She has such a very friendly and welcoming attitude which made things even more pleasant. The tour of the complex and apartment were amazing and I’m looking forward to the move in date!
From the moment of walking into the leasing office to the tour around this complex, Marley B. has been the most friendly and inviting guide I’ve experienced. The complex gives off a warm and home-like feeling along with the welcoming staff around.

Looking for a place to live is not easy. But Claire made it looks so easy that now I can’t wait to move in. Place is very clean, modern and peaceful. Love all the amenities but specially the great customer service.
Claire was very friendly and professional, she immediate greeted me as I arrived at the office and happily showed me around the apartment complex. She answered all my question I had. The apartment grounds were clean and looked well maintained. The pools were also very clean and big.The gym looked up to date with lots of equipment to use where other apartments I toured had smaller pools and a single treadmill they considered a gym. The apartment unit itself is specious enough for my room mate and I to have enough privacy and not feel cramped. The kitchen is nice and spacious with granite counter tops. The AC unit blew nice cool air with out making any loud noises that older apartments air conditioners tend to have. Having a smart lock on the door is a plus in case you leave your keys inside by accident, very convenient. We came by on the weekend as well to see if the complex was loud but all the residents seem to be pretty quiet which is another plus. We look forward to moving in asap.
I'm looking to move and Marley provided a great tour of the property and the apartments look great. Upgraded amenities, big dog park, massage, tanning, 2 pools what's not to like. Price is also very affordable.
Marley was so helpful and honest the entire time. My husband and I are dealing with a stressful situation and having to move and Marley in the front office made me fell so much less stressed and at home. The property is beautiful! I love how up to date their technology is and I'm super excited about the keyless entry and the app where I can control my a/c and locks from anywhere with my phone. We are so excited to make Teakwood our new home.
Love it here already! All the office ladies were very kind and extremely helpful. The grounds are very well kept, great amenities, and the apartments are very spacious. Happy to call this place home.
My husband and I went to go see these apartments and Claire was really nice and helpful. She showed us the property and answered all of our questions. Ever since we decided to move here she has helped us with everything very promptly. Since we have a dog, we loved that they have a dog park. I’m excited for the massage therapy and the big pool!!
Thing long and hard before you move to Teakwood. There is a strong stench of Dog Poop throughout the property and physical poop in the grass and also on the sidewalk. There are huge dogs roaming the property after hours that are not on a leash . Why in the world would you allow a darn Pit bull to roam freely at night. Please carry your pistol if you plan to walk to the dumpster at night.
I don’t have much to say other than, black mold, leaking windows that seem to never get fixed during the rainiest of season, and hidden fees. They will not tell you when you move in how much you will be charged in 4 months. Because apparently it’s $100-$150 more than we were paying the three previous months. Doesn’t make sense. Tired of the crappy maintenance and yucky mold. Oh yeah, roach problem as well. Just keep looking for someplace better.
The front desk ladies are all very nice, helpful and friendly. Willing to answer all my questions and show me around the property. The property is very clean and has a sauna, workout room, and a big pool with shade. Kid friendly and has always been a great place to stay
This is my 5th apartment I've lived in and so far has been the best. My apartment was always attended to when I had a request and the girls in the office are pretty cool. I'm leaving now and I really don't think anywhere else is going to compare to Teakwood. I really enjoyed living here and sad to go.
Worst place I've ever lived. Had to pay a 400$ tow fee one night when my truck broke down and drove a friends vechile and parked it in MY SPOT, and they could care less. You pay a pet deposit and then get a fee for animal damages. Front desk is always sarcastic. DO your self a favor and look else where.
Although I really enjoy my apartment and the area, the office staff made my experience unacceptable. Once you have signed the lease, it’s no longer their problem. No one there is friendly or sympathetic to any situation that may occur during your lease agreement. They boast themselves on being “dog friendly” when actually I have never lived somewhere that is so inconsiderate towards the way they handle any situation that occurs where they may need to make entry into your apartment. I am gone for approximately 12 hours a day. I will not lock my dog up in a kennel for this long in case you need to get in to my unit. Questions sent via email from my resident account to the office frequently go unanswered and unacknowledged. Once they made entry into my unit in the summer to look at my AC without my knowledge, and actually left the heat on. It was 98 degrees in my unit when I returned home and my dog had to endure that, unacceptable. I actually had to leave my apartment with my dog for hours until the unit actually cooled down enough to be able to enter. The Manager at this time is inconsiderate and disrespectful and the entire office reflects the same attitude.
The first time to visit they were extremely awesome, very helpful in every way. And we fell in love with the beautiful property.... thank you so much to Meshell !!!!!!
Started out fine until I started having air conditioning issues. Apparently the problem was bigger than their maintenance men could handle and they weren't willing to spend money in getting it fixed. I went 3 months with a $350-$400 electric bill because all they wanted to do was clean the coils and change the filter every 2 weeks because I kept calling them and telling them something was wrong with it because it would never shut off and wasn't cooling the place below 85 degrees. I got fed up and moved out, but I had to stay an extra 2 days past the time of notice I had given. Come to find out, they turned me over to a collection agency and said I owed them $500 because I didn't move out when I said I would. It was 2 days. I would definitely not recommend this place.
My experience has been great. Everyone has been very helpful and has made my move pleasant. The maintenance staff has been very good in taking care of the little details to get the apartment in great condition. The grounds are very clean, the laundry room is clean and well lit with plenty of washers and driers, the pools are very nice. I was able to submit the application and get acceptanced over the phone and internet making it an easy process.
The staff is super nice and very approachable, it was an easy experience getting accepted and the application process was very quick and efficient. The thermostat went out and the maintenance guy was there by the afternoon and completely replaced it within minutes. They've got great pools, play grounds and even a dog park. Everyone I have ran into here is super friendly. It's just a great atmosphere. Highly recommend it. :)
HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE! I had a terrible experience at Teakwood Apartments. My vehicle was towed in the middle of the night from MY assigned parking space. I was LEGALLY parked, but because my parking tag was in my other car (my secondary vehicle), they towed my truck. Again, I was LEGALLY parked in MY assigned parking space. When I asked the office why I was towed (the contract does not state you HAVE to have your tag in view) they proceeded to tell me it is written in the resident handbook, but not in the contract. Not only did I never receive a resident handbook, they also never made it clear that I NEEDED 2 parking tags. The office knew I had 2 vehicles when I leased with them and they NEVER offered 2 parking tags. The office manager had no sympathy what-so-ever. She knew I was a single parent w/ 2 young children under the age of 5. I expressed I had no way to go pick up the truck with my kids because their carseats were inside the truck. My other vehicle is a Mustang... both their carseats do not fit inside that car. She expressed it was my problem to deal with. I would advise ANYONE to find a different apartment complex to live in. On top of everything, this complex has a roach problem. DO NOT lease with Teakwood unless you want problems.
First impressions aren't everything. The ladies in the front know how to sell. Once you have moved in you're placed on the back burner. Requests, maintanance, everything takes time. And when it gets done it's usually on the second or third time. Tiffany at the office is remarkably rude. Such a person shouldn't work with people. After speaking with several neighbors in the complex its apparent that she isn't well liked. This wouldn't be an issue if she didn't feel like making everything her business. Don't make the 12 month mistake I did, find yourself a better apartment.
The grounds at Teakwood are always maintained. The ladies in the office are extremely nice and helpful with any issue. The maintenance men are usually prompt, but we have had requests for maintenance lost once or twice. We just had to resubmit the request and they came as quickly as they could. This is the first apartment we have stayed at for more than a year, and we do love it!
we have lived here for 8 months and we like the size of the apartment but the condition of the apartments needs work unless you can afford the upgraded apartments. when you sign your lease their is a little one line at the bottom of last page about parking permit that must be on your vehicle. make sure you keep this on your car or anyone who comes to visit or when you wake up in the morning the car will be gone. we didn't know this and had family park in our spot because its assigned spaces and figured it would be safe since it was my spot. Wrong! they towed my mother in laws car and not just here in town all the way to the beltway in houston! $333.50 later we go the car back. the wrecker said they towed it cause management called. management said they don't call unless their is a complaint. so the wrecker driver drives around looking for cars with no parking tag to make some money for the day and tows your car. management said they had this for our protection but its hurting the renters. i can't just cough up $333 on a whim.
We've lived here for 6 months and it's nice except there are cracks in our walls and problems with the doors not closing. They need to fix the foundation.

I LOVE WHERE I LIVE, ITS VERY PEACEFUL ! BEAUTIFUL TREES AND A GREAT AREA TO LIVE IT UP! NICE FRIENDLY STAFF TOO, WHICH IS A BREATH OF FRESH AIR ! IVE EXPERIENCED NICE STAFF IN THE BEGINNING AND THEN ONCE YOU LAND THE APT WELL... LETS JUST SAY THEIR NAMES SHOULD BE SYBIL! THE RATES ARE VERY REASONABLE ! BETTER THEN MOST IN THE AREA AND BELIEVE ME, I CHECKED!
The grounds are beautiful. The pool is awesome and clean. The staff is always helpful and friendly. The leasing girl, Tiffany was super sweet. The apartments are very very nice and the updates are perfect.
