Property Ratings at Telegraph Hill
I don't normally bother to leave reviews, but Telegraph Hill is an absolutely horrible place to live. It's impossible to talk to anyone in the front office; they never answer the phone and the office closes randomly for no apparent reason. The water gets shut off with very little notice 2-4 times per month because of "plumbing emergencies." My apartment flooded twice while living here because of plumbing issues. There is no one manning the emergency maintenance phone after office hours, so you have to leave a message and hope someone gets back to you while your apartment fills with water in the middle of the night. There are roaches everywhere. The entire complex is infested with them. At the end of my first year, they increased my rent by 16%. The did not make any significant improvement to my apartment or the complex to justify such an egregious increase. Do not live here, the property managers will not care about you and only want your money.

We're sorry to hear your time with us has not been the positive experience we aim to provide. Our team strives to maintain our community and apartment homes and it's disappointing to know we've missed the mark during your time with us. Please visit the office at your convenience so we may address any maintenance requests and work toward improving your experience in our community. Thank you.
Delivery drivers have to leave packages in the office. Here is just 1 of my experiences. It's Christmas week. Alot of packages are being delivered. They were closed Friday for Christmas party and are closed on Sundays- which left Saturday to get packages. At 1pm I go to office, which is locked & note on door saying will be back @ 230pm. I come back @ 230 and sat in parking lot until someone showed up at 250pm. When I explained the inconvenience, was told " well we get a lunch" here is a thought - maybe if your closed on friday..and going to be closed sunday..maybe a 2+ hr off sight lunch isn't the best idea when its the only time an entire community can get there packages over a 3 day period! Also if you give them a low review on these own site? It never shows - look at the reviews everywhere else and then look at reviews on there own page. Try filtering low to high on own site and nothing below 4 star comes up. This place is dishonest & far to expensive & not properly staffed. Avoid it.

We are deeply sorry you had a negative experience with our team around the holidays. We want to ensure packages make it home with the correct people, so at this time we do have them delivered to our office. However, we understand your concerns, so we reached out to our Amazon HUB rep again, to see if we can speed up the process of reprogramming the package lockers. At this time, we are simply waiting on them to provide us with a service date. Our team works hard to be available during regular business hours, but holidays and lunches may slightly impact our availability. Again, we are sorry you have been left with a negative opinion of our team, and hope we can be more available for you now that the holiday season has ended.
I lived here a year. The price jumped up $600 a month and it's way too high. Management is unhelpful and rude (won't even pick up the phone or give a call back). Went the entire month of February without hot water and they didn't do anything about it expect told us "too bad."
I've lived here 4 months. The place is nice but over priced. The community expenses you get on top of rent do not make sense & totaled 150.00 this last month. I do understand why they get so many 1 star reviews. Management is polite as long as you don't have any issues. If you do? They are defensive and lie rather than take ownership. Don't return calls and are inattentive to addressing issues. Great place ruined by bad management.

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. We greatly appreciate your feedback, and we’re saddened to hear that you did not have a good experience. We apologize we’ve missed your calls and would like to talk further about your experiences. Please stop by the leasing office so that we can discuss these matters further. Thank you.
The property got bought out and the staff in the office got changed out. I preferred the old management this new management doesn't know what they're doing. The maintenance workers are great but we had to wait over 2 months to get things fixed in our townhouse. Plus there are cockroaches everywhere!

We are disappointed to learn of your experience here at Telegraph Hill, but will take this opportunity to improve.
The telegraph hill apartments are amazing. The staff is so nice and caring and maintenance is on top of their stuff. Apartments are very nice and roomy and love the personal patios and having a washer dryer to myself and yet still the conviniece of a on site laundry. The area is very friendly and low crime. I highly reccomend.
