Established in 1942 by the United States Government, Oak Ridge was formed to be the site of the Manhattan Project—the secret World War II program that developed the atomic bomb—and the home base for the tens of thousands who worked on the project, along with their families. Oak Ridge, sometimes referred to as “The Secret City” and “The Atomic City,” became an independent city in 1959. Oak Ridge honors its past with the Manhattan Project National Historical Park, the American Museum of Science and Energy, and the annual Secret City Festival held each June.
Located in the foothills of the Smoky Mountains, Oak Ridge offers residents plenty of options for outdoor recreation. The 173-mile-long Melton Hill Lake is a popular destination for rowing, boating, and fishing. Oak Ridge’s 12 scenic greenways and 16 beautiful parks offer ample space for a broad range of land-based activities. Quick access to I-40, I-75, and the Oak Ridge Turnpike connects the city to nearby Knoxville and beyond.

Property Ratings at Teller Village Apartments
I have lived here for 9 years and have seen property managers come and go...quickly, I think that Casy is here to stay. She has established better living conditions here at Teller by pushing and completing the repairs inside and outside the complex. The grounds look so much nicer by keeping up the ground maintenance. With our Maintenance Engineer living on site now it helps with the speed of all repairs. I can't tell you how happy my wife and I are about living here now. Thanks, Casy.
Great management. Gets things done! I cannot wait to see how this turns out in the future.
I lived here and never could get a maintenance man and when I did he half fixed stuff. I had a leaking ac and the put a large bucket under it. They didn't do any repairs they promised.
Do not move in here this is the worst place I have ever lived in my life people brake into houses and cars around here and the people don’t do anything about it they don’t fix anything at all when they say they will and mold in all the house and they say just wipe it off you’ll be fine I’m going to court with these people because they don’t care about anything
Can't keep a manager or mainance man has a very bad bed bug problem pool water hasn't been changed since I moved here back in 2015 garbage disposal is always over full your best bet is don't move here...
Awesome 2 bedroom 2 bath for 661 a month. I am allowed to have pets. The apts are very nice and roomy. The office staff is awesome and we have a great maintenance guy. I am extremely lucky to have stumbled upon these wonderful people and such an awesome apartment in such a time of need.
