Resting along the Salt River, Tempe’s major claim to fame is the main campus of Arizona State University. More than fifty thousand students attend classes here, and the university’s impact on the local culture cannot be overstated. In addition to being the city’s largest employer, ASU serves as the cultural hub for Tempe, hosting guest speakers, art and history exhibits, concerts, and other events that draw students and non-students alike. In addition to ASU Sun Devil sports, Tempe is also home to the spring training facilities for the Los Angeles Angels and the Legoland Discovery Center Arizona. Most of the nightlife and entertainment options in town are clustered near the ASU campus on the north side of town, with the areas further south mostly occupied by quiet suburban neighborhoods.
Along with the impressive campus of ASU, Tempe house beautiful green spaces.

Property Ratings at Tempe Park Place
all I can say is you get what you pay for.....this is for sure the cheapest place we have lived in....
We have had our hot water heater go out 4 times in the first three months. The response time to repair it is very slow and they can’t seem to fix it and are unwilling to replace it. The staff is unwilling to provide access to a manager. Stay away!
This place was great when I moved in in 2015. Now the "new management" has completely made this place a dump. There were really nice trees that shaded the apartments and kept them cool in the summer that are now gone, the mgmt does routine inspections all the time and fines people for things that are on their balcony. The air conditioning is a water cooled HVAC system that worked fine until the new management came in. Now they have turned the water temp up to save money and you need to run the AC full time. The Gym is terrible. The employees are rude. Maintenance starts their blowers, weed wackers, and hedge trimmers at 8am which will wake you up. The apartments are outdated. The management is crazy about parking and will tow your car if they are not up to date. I really used to love this apartment complex, it is so sad to see one company come in and completely ruin something that was once very nice.
Everything was going great until new management arrived. The woman working the office is really rude and seems like she doesn't care for the tenants problems. My lease is up beginning of Oct. & of course they bumped up the rent which i figured, went up at least 60$ more but definitely not paying the amount they're asking for a 1BD. Oh and P.S some neighbors in the 2nd building apartments can be pretty clingy, so just forewarning.
I loved living here until they brought in the new management! First off they tried adding all kinds of expenses, that were already paid for when I first moved in. Second they are EXTREMELY rude!!! They absolutely do not care about their tenants, and have no communication. I do not recommend living here! Will be leaving when the lease is up!
Tempe Park Place was a very great place to live. They keep the complex very clean and have matienence available at almost any time. I enjoyed having everything online for us to take care of, as well as having cards for laundry and not having to dig for change. The complex also has small parties for the community every month so you can get to know your neighbors and feel welcome. Many of the people here have lived here for a while and keep the apartment just as nice as can be.
The apartment complex has 2 nice pools and on property laundry facility. Utilities are included in the rent however they control when you will have heat or AC as well as the temperature. We do not get upgrades but the rent goes up every year. Management is not allowed to come out and interact with the tenants. With the former management whe you renewed your lease you received a incentive, now with new management you get a coupon to have your carpets cleaned. I never see the pest control here to spray for any kind of pest. The complex has restrictions on breed of dogs but not size.
