Tempo Cambridge

I’ve enjoyed living at Tempo ! I previously lived in Boston but wanted to downsize and stumbled upon tempo and I haven’t been disappointed - from the bowling alley and the pool my kiddos enjoy in the summer! My neighbors have been really welcoming as well and have little convos here and there too, it’s a nice family friendly community

The move was so smooth which the staff helpen in making it that was Samia is amazing. Helped me a lot. The requests are answered very quickly Really happy that I moved here.

The apartment is great! I love the architecture style, there's a good amount of sunlight and the location is great. The windows could open more (they can be open but just a tiny bit) yet I understand that's the standard for many apartments in the region.

I really like living here - the maintenance team is friendly and resolves issues quickly and the apartment is comfortable. I appreciate the easy access to the Minuteman Trail. The only piece of feedback is visitor parking - there isn't a lot of space for visitors and it's necessary to ask for a parking pass days and sometimes weeks in advance.

So far, I'm hopeful about Tempo. There were some issues with move-in but everyone in the main office has been fantastic about making it right. The location is fantastic and the units are similarly well appointed. The amenities are out of this world and the rental rate is highly competitive, even with the parking fee. I would recommend taking a tour.

The rooms and amenities are great. The staff has been friendly and super helpful. I was just hoping for some more community events/ways to meet my neighbors.

We love staying at Tempo, great customer service and the facilities are always so very clean, and pet friendly is a huge plus for us as well!

So far so good! The apartment has been a pleasant experience overall. The location is incredibly convenient, with easy access to public transportation, grocery stores, and restaurants. The building itself is well-maintained, and the management team is responsive and helpful. My unit is spacious with plenty of natural light, and the neighbors are friendly and respectful. The amenities, like the gym and rooftop terrace, are a nice bonus. There haven't been any major issues, and I’m really enjoying my stay here. Looking forward to seeing how things go moving forward!

So far the neighbors have been kind and the staff have been helpful. The property is very nice, although bring lots of personal decorations as the white walls give the apartments a highly sterile feeling.

Good place to stay, nice neighborhood. Amenities are awesome. Staff is helpful. Only thing, the mail room is not very organized , its difficult to find parcels.

Great neighborhood! Alewife reservation park is located 5 min away from the apartment. Trader Joe’s, and Whole Foods are located only 5 min by drive. Good connectivity to commute to Boston.

Excellent. Great service from start to finish. Everyone in the process has been super helpful, and willing to go above and beyond to make our experience the best experience possible.

Apartment is nice. I have a little problem with being pet friendly. Dogs pee all over the hallway carpet area and it starts stinking after a couple of days, specially around the elevator area.

The office staff is helpful and friendly and maintenance is usually quick and solves the issue efficiently. The apartment is full of light and there is a beautiful park behind the building.

Tempo is an amazing place to live in Cambridge. Since everyone signs a year-long lease and there are no sublets, it feels like a place where you can build community and get to know the neighbors. Our family loves living here!

Tempo Cambridge is a great community. The leasing staff is really caring and makes it a personable experience for residents. The amenities are also amazing and we are right next to the alewife T stop and the alewife brooke trail.

The staff and leasing office have shown utmost professionalism and have assisted me with preparing for my move. They have made the transitioning process go along very smoothly.

The management team at Tempo is fantastic. They're always friendly and prompt in addressing any maintenance requests I've had. The location is perfect for me - it's close to the train station but still feels quiet and residential. Overall, I've had a wonderful experience living at Tempo. If you're looking for a great place to live, I highly recommend checking it out!

Although the parking situation is bad, the apartment building is nice with decent amenities.Also, management is generally responsive to our concerns.

I really enjoy living at Tempo! The apartment has everything I need - the laundry machines and other appliances are top notch and maintenance is usually quick when there is an issue. The common spaces are clean and have a lot of natural light. The only downside is parking; getting a permit for visitor parking is tedious and permits are not available above two consecutive days.

Moving in has been an easy experience with the Tempo staff. I was able to get my keys, a tour and other necessities immediately. The space is nice and always kept clean.

Cannot say enough good things about the Tempo Cambridge community. The staff onsite is always helpful and my maintenance requests are always addressed in a timely manner. The clubhouse and gym are kept clean at all times. The apartments are spacious, modern, and well-maintained. Would recommend to anyone looking for a managed apartment community along the Red Line!

I love this building! The leasing manager is so helpful and always make it feel like home. The amenities are unbeatable as well. Having a pet wash station is a game changer. i cant wait until summer so I can use the grills and pool. So glad I chose Tempo!

A beautiful apartment complex with great amenities and very friendly staff. They respond in a timely manner to any maintenance request and the facilities are in excellent condition.

Great community, super clean and quiet! Parking is a bit tough but fixable. The apartments themselves are modern, updated, clean, and quiet. I’m really happy with my choice!

Maintence and Staff members are great and get back to you quickly when you have a concern or question about anything. Would like to see more community and involvement activities if possible. Location is efficient near subway but very limited guest parking.

Tempo is a great community overall. Parking is an issue but location is great as it's close to the T station and grocery stores. Very nice amenities.

We have zero complaints, the Property Management team is fantastic, the maintenance staff is very attentive and we are really happy with the overall experience

It's a good place, well located. cleaning and maintenance are very good. I don't like the air conditioning in the apartment, it's very noisy.

Tempo is a great community to live in. Amenities are great and the location is convenient as it's close to grocery stores and the T station.

Very safe and secure building!! Quite area !! Great stuff and maintenance are always there for you!! Interesting events every season!! Multi hanging out areas for adults and kids!! So grateful to be here @Tempo!!

Pros: Great amenities, the basics of a gym, party room and pool In the summer and in addition there’s a bowling alley (yes!) and free Zumba classes every Thursday, so there are perks which you don’t really get in other apartment complexes. They recently issued new fobs for the back gate to discovery park making the T accessible again. Maintenance team is great! Cons: visitor parking is hard to get, you can’t have friends drop by, it needs to be pre-planned and the number of visitor passes are limited. Mail room is quite overflowing most of the time but I think management is working on that. It would be nice to have more machines for lower body in the gym.

I moved in Tempo this summer and really enjoyed the time here so far. The leasing office made the moving very smooth and the whole team are always being responsive to any maintain requests. In addition, the neighbor is perfect! never get bored walking/jogging around

In general it is nice but they charge you $100 for lockout. I have never seen something like that. The front desk friendly. Office/ work space could be bigger considering a lot of people work from home.

I have been living at Tempo for a while now. So far, everything is great, and the staff is very kind and helpful. The package room is pure chaos, though.

We are very pleased with the management, so far everything was good. We asked two times for help in the apartment (some plugs did not work) and they came the same day we put to inquiry to solve the issues

I’ve had a great experience living here. I did not have to think twice about resigning my lease and am looking forward to another great year at Tempo!

Enjoying my time at Tempo and been here for almost 3 years. The staff are attentive including maintenance team as well. It feels nice being treated with respect.

The environment is great! People from the administration are super nice and always ready to help! Amenities are great too! We feel very welcome here

It was a really nice experience! We enjoyed it from the beginning, for example, when we did the tour, Samia explained every detail about leaving in Tempo community and from that moment we feel it like our new home and then the application and the moving process was easily and smoothly.

We enjoy the community so far. We like the walking trails that are nearby and how quiet the building is. We also find the parking garage to be easy to get in and out of

We are having a great experience here at Tempo Cambridge. The staff has been exceptional and it is a pet friendly community which is great for our little guy :)

The apartment unit itself (1 bedroom 747 sqft) is solid with features like in-unit washer/dryer and walk-in closet. You can tell though that the building was slapped together quick and cheap like a lot of other "luxury" apartments. Cracks in walls, appliances installed poorly causing them to stop functioning (you shouldn't have to lift your dishwasher off the ground to get the door to shut fully), socket covers falling off the wall. The pool is tiny, always dirty and way too crowded to make it worth while. Same goes for the gym. The bowling alley who knows, never got a chance to use it because it's always booked out months in advance. Sometimes you can walk through Discovery park to get to Alewife but the gate to get into the park from Tempo is controlled by the park and access gets shut off at times so you're stuck walking along the highway. 16 guest parking spots for hundreds of units between both buildings so be sure to plan out at least a week in advance if you have anyone over and don't want to make them park at Alewife. As for tenet parking, I was told at the time I moved in that I'd have 2 spaces for no charge, which then become 2 spaces I'd be charged for, and then 1 space I'd have to wait a few weeks for, to waiting over 9 months to finally get a space. Word is as of right now the waitlist for a parking space is over 1 year so good luck with that. The package system is nice when it works but pretty frequently packages will go missing either due to the delivery service not registering it correctly or it being left out and walking away. Experience with management has been hit or miss. Sometimes they're very nice to deal with, other times the garage door to one of the buildings is broken and left open for a couple weeks and they're not even aware of it until you go in and ask hey is that ever getting fixed.
