Scofield Farms is a peaceful suburban community located about 12 miles northeast of Downtown Austin and about 11 miles north of the University of Texas at Austin. This neighborhood is nicely contained with cozy residential streets, a large shopping area, and the Scofield Farms Neighborhood Park extending through the center of the neighborhood. The park is separated from the Wells Creek Greenbelt by Metric Boulevard, providing ample hiking trails for residents to enjoy.
Parmer Lane is lined with a variety of shops and restaurants, and additional shopping and dining options are available along I-35, directly east of Scofield Farms. Residents are close to the Walnut Creek Metropolitan Park, a large park with a leash-free hiking trail, picnic areas, a municipal pool, and a BMX track. Other nearby locations include St. David’s North Austin Medical Center, the Domain shopping mall, and Wells Branch Disc Golf Course.

Property Ratings at Ten Oaks
Bikes stolen off patio, cars broken into, behind Walmart, people floating around all times of day and night, gate is always out of order. Someone urinated on the wall outside my door a year ago, and you can still see the stain on the wall and concrete.

I moved in 3 years ago w my son and dog and they love it here, they have a big dog park and the pool just perfect for us is really peacefully complex and everything you need is really close to you ( restaurant, market, bars, movies,etc) . I love the staff, they listen to you and fix any problems you have. My maintenance needs are completed within the same day or next and the guys are really professional and friendly. Everyone here is courteous and friendly and I don't ever plan on moving from here. great job guys
I was a little iffy about applying here at first based on the security reviews, but this place is a no brainer. Great location, gated community, and they are installing a new camera system which makes me feel safe. The inside is beautiful and spacious. Super happy here. Staff Rocks!
This place is a joke. My truck was broken into (vehicle break ins are normal here) I live right next to the leasing office where there are cameras. I informed the leasing office of this and asked if they could check the recording. They said they could not because the cameras don’t actually record. Tf you got them for? Two months later a shooting occurred and two vehicles got shot up. The 24 hr security comes at 9 pm flashes their lights, drives through once and leaves for the night. They close the pool often for “maintenance” so good luck trying to use that amenity. It’s technically a gated community but the gates are always broken, therefore they are always open. Don’t waste your money here. I’d give zero stars if it were an option.
Not sure where the good reviews are coming from. These apartments are way overpriced, in a mediocre area directly across from walmart, their car gate has been broken for more than half a year and its almost impossible to get in contact with their front office. I would say the only good thing about them is their maintenance staff, who are always super cool. In the middle of the summer the pool was "Closed for our convenience" many times without warning and for undisclosed amounts of time. Its really just not a great place, if you want something nice, save your money and go towards the Arboretum.
Very rude property manager. Very unsafe environment. There’s no way I’d ever let my young daughter live there after my experience with how poorly this complex is managed. Do NOT live here
Love the location. The office staff is friendly and very helpful. Well kept and pet friendly. Love it!!!!
The apartment is nice but the parking and building seem to be limited and fall apart. The management inside is not very helpful and always seems to have an attitude.
