Terra at Highgate Apartment Homes

The management and leasing staff are very nice and professional. When riding around the apartment complex you can see there’s a “new thing “ happening within this complex environment. The units are nice and remodeled give it a shot and see for yourself .

I had a Brillant experience going to get information about this property. Melanie helped me a great deal. I really love the customer service and the attention they give their guest. I would definitely be choosing terra as my next rental property.

All these people did was change the name of the apartment complex. Nothing gets done at all. It’s roach infested and they don’t even have a pest control that comes. Been under “new management” at least four times, takes maintenance forever to fix anything. The Gate at the front has not been working since I moved in. My ceiling fan fell on my husband leg and they said it was our fault and took them three weeks to come remove the fan. The top step of our stairs fell on my husband foot as he was coming home from work and they did nothing about it also took them a week to come and fix that. All the good people that were working here and actually helping are leaving. ITS NOT WORTH MOVING HERE!!!

The new management is really turning this place around. Especially the new property manager, she goes above and beyond for her tenants. She make sure everything that needs fixing gets done and in a timely manner. I have no complaints and I am happy that i decided to give this place a try ??

The customer service from this team was absolutely incredible. I needed to move in right away and they made sure they were able to get things on the roll for me to be able to move into my new home with no issues. Even after moving in the checked up on me to make sure everything was working properly.

The office staff is amazing, definitely makes me feel at home. Every minor/major issue we’ve had was addressed in a timely manner.

When I first became a resident in December of 2021 it started off pretty rocky with old management when it came to providing a good living experience. This was due to lack of urgency on work orders and accommodating to certain needs. Since new management I haven’t had to worry about those previous issues. Work orders are answered with a quickness and they have cleaned up the pool and other amenities to make Terra at Highgate a great neighborhood to live in.

I Just moved here and i loveee it, the property is always kept clean and well maintained, also any problems I have maintenance is quick to respond. special shout out to Sabrina she helped me through out the whole process and made my move in really smooth and she also made sure any questions comments or concerns i had was addressed in a timely manner. Very nice property!!!!

When I first moved here a year & half ago within three months I wanted to move. The old management had no clue how to managed this place. After a terrible incident occurred a new management company took over. The first thing they did was hire a security company 24/7. Spoke to the police department to patrol the grounds at they're description, and evicted the undesirable. This new management company cleaned up the community, refurbished the apartments, also very soon the front gate will be closed I am happy and comfortable to say it's much safer place to live. Keep up the good work for I know they have more plans to improve the quality of life for their tenants and the community as a whole.

The living conditions in The Park at Highgate Apartments are deplorable. I moved into an apartment with a 7 month lease and it was the worst experience of my life. I was without working air conditioning for a total of 12 weeks. And because I had to keep the AC fan running non-stop to keep the apartment from reaching 90 degrees, I paid $200-400 electric bills for 3 months. The windows and sliding glass door have no screens on them either. Between the broken AC, the roach infestation, and the disgusting water backing up into the sink, it was impossible to use the kitchen. The dishwasher wasn't even secured under the counter so it moved around. Roaches were everywhere—in the microwave, inside the oven, in the beds, the sofa... And my apartment always smelled like weed from the neighbors. Every time it rained, water ran down the wall. There was mildew and cracks in the ceiling where the leak was. I submitted numerous work orders for issues in the apartment and they would mark them complete when they were never addressed. The only issue addressed was the AC, but every time I called or submitted a work order, it would be weeks before the AC company would finally show up and put a bandaid on the problem, only for it to stop working again 2-3 weeks later (I don't blame the maintenence crew for this). I was told by a neighbor that the people who lived in my unit before me moved out after 2 weeks because the roaches were so bad. I finally moved out with a month and a half left on my lease. I emailed the CEO of Operations who had the property manager call me. Shandra verbally assured me that I would be released from the remainder of the lease (1 1/2 months) with no money owed and that my deposit would be returned. My rent account is still being charged and no one will reply to my emails asking for confirmation of our conversation in writing. When I moved out, I had to throw out my sofa, beds, clothes, and expensive bags. The Park at Highgate was horrible for my mental health and has cost me A LOT of money to replace things I had no choice but to trash. Do not move in here, even if it's only temporary. It's been a nightmare.

All of the information given is inaccurate!!!! They haven’t updated anything at all. And they’re horrible with communication.

I applied to this complex months ago. Rent went up $300 more after and still proceeded. I was told I was approved, given an address paid for renters insurance and was then told I didn’t make enough, yet that wasn’t the initial amount prior to applying. I’m now homeless searching for another place.

I lived here 5 years ago and I bought my sister by to get a place. We were courteously greated, and everyone was very nice to us. And what a place! Greatly upgraded since I left. They are well kept and the price is well worth the qualiry. Definitely gonna refer more friends their way

From beginning to now, I have had nothing but the run-around and disappointments. From before I moved in, on two occasions I was given a date to go see the apartment that I was ORIGINALLY supposed to get. Each time I came, there was an excuse why it couldn't be shown. The leasing representative ending up showing me a model apartment as gave me a move-in date of August 2nd. That date came and I was unable to move in because I was told it would be delayed for at least four more days because they had to install security outlets. Well, needless to say, that too was a disappointment because they never did anything, and still gave my husband and I the run-around on moving into the first floor apartment that they said we were getting. After quite a few unsettling visits to the management office, they finally put us in a second floor apartment that has been a total nightmare. I haven't even been in here a good two weeks yet, and there are heavy flow of roaches, the AC is constantly going out , and there are too many other things wrong that I just ended up taking photos and videos to now supply to Action 9 News for assistance. This is ridiculous! I have a small two month grandson breaking out all over his skin from the heat and insect bites in here. When I go to to office to complain, they try to shut me up instead of addressing the problems. Well trust me, you will see.

I am new to the Orlando area and needed a place to live. I was driving around the area and saw this apartment complex. The management was very helpful in describing the layout of the apartments as well as going over the schools and parks in the area. I was able to move in immediately and have not had any complaints with my apartment, my neighbors, or the management. I have been here for a little more than two months and the property is improving tremendously. I am happy with my decision to live here and would highly recommend this property to my new friends and family.

The management that took over is horrible. I’ve been putting in maintenance requests for over 7months and I still don’t have things fixed. There ar some people that do not need to live here. They bring negative traffic in the community. They do not have anywhere for the kids to play. All they have is a blacktop. There needs to be some kind of playground. These kids get into trouble because they have nothing to do. The grounds is not well kept at all. They do not spray for pest like they should. There are several apartments that have roaches. The car care section is a joke. It hasn’t been operational in several years. I am looking to move as soon as I find some other place to go. Good luck
