Property Ratings at Terra Pointe Apartments
I've been here about 7 months and it is now November 2019. Within my first month here my boyfriends car was broken into(they'll only release footage to the cops if there is a report filed) Would be nice to know if was a resident before we wasted our time. They send out an email about once a week letting you know when the water will be off. May be as short as 2 hours and it might be all day... I guess running water is a lot to ask for. The outside bins are often not on site so you get drive around the gigantic pile of trash people leave on the ground in its place. The heat in my apartment wont turn off so I run the AC or leave the window open(I have had a maintenance person out once for this already. The last time I had them out to fix something it took 3 tries before they got it right and several weeks before they follow up on each request)... It sucks cause its always loud outside being close to the entrance. The tenant above me likes to dump water off their balcony. If my door is open(which it is quite often because of the heat) it pours right into my living room..... At least I can get water that way. They towed my legally registered car because the year tab fell off(a cop would have been able to tell I was current) Was over $300 to get it back. To break the lease they require 60 days notice and 2 months of rent to buy out... so 4 months of rent money. All in all at least the staff is very friendly.

THIS PLACE TOWS VEHICLES EVERYDAY WITH A ROVING GOON SQUAD CALLED ABSOLUTE TOWING> THEY CARE NOT ABOUT THEIR TENENTS AND GET THE RUN AROUND WHEN ASKING QUESTIONS>

We moved in only a few months ago and already are regretting our decision. The fire alarms constantly go off for no reason, they are constantly shutting off the water for “repairs” (today it was shut off all day) and the screens aren’t even secured into the windows. Building itself is nasty and never cleaned properly. There’s a giant hole in the wall of one of the staircases with gang writing carved on it and it’s been there for months with management doing nothing.

I asked if there was time to show the apartment the next day. The lady on the phone asked me to hold for a second then she audibly asked another lady if there was time to show it tomorrow, I then heard yelling about how that is stupid and people need to give more time for them to organize that kind of thing, so that was rude. We ended up going the next day at noon there were holes in the walls the whole building smells like cigarettes and you can hear yelling on every floor I don’t know what kind of people they have living there but it doesn’t seem safe to me.
Dirty hallway, bad manager and full of herself. Too expensive for no reason. Trashy and not the price they ask for. MANAGEMENT ONLY CARES ABOUT MONEY NOT YOU. STAY AWAY
Please do yourself a favor and find a better place to live. This dump has terrible management, employees, and staff!! The other "long term" residents are their old staff that are trash because they smoke all day long and contribute to the mess outside the complex. Cigarette butts all over the place, broken glass and trash everywhere, dog poop everywhere as they don't refill the dog poop stations or don't enforce dog owners to clean up after their pet, smelly hallways (stinks like trash and cigarette smoke), water is shut off every week due to "maintenece", and the list goes on. We stayed for a year because the lease states if we want to move out early, you have to buy out the lease meaning pay every month's rent amount in advance. Just don't move to terra pointe!
This place is horrible. The manger is very rude. There is no parking after 8:00pm ,you literally have you look for parking . They go up on your rent every year and you have to pay all the utilities . There is dog and cat urine everywhere the carpet in the halls are filthy . Please take my advice and let everyone you know do not move here you will be sorry. They also have a lot of floods.
These units are overpriced in my opinion...the model looks newer but the actual units are dated. Management is unpleasant to work with. They seem to be understaffed and stressed out because they are not friendly with residents. You can see the difference in their demeanor when they deal with prospects versus residents. Also their is major miscommunication amongst the office staff. They always need to check with a manager. Paperwork gets lost and misplaced, they don’t always give straight answers, and they seem o have new rules every month....it’s unorganized and unprofessional. Lastly, the apartment building doesn’t have a “home” feel to it. This is a big deal to me. The moment you walk in to the building you smell cigarettes, weed and other indescribable scents. Some of the people that live here make me feel uncomfortable because they are in and out of the building throughout the night, drinking, smoking and very loud. The walls are thin and you can hear your neighbors moving or bumping. I can’t hear voices, but I can hear the bumps and moving from neighbors on the side and above me. Please save yourself the time and trouble, but if you want, check it out for yourself and see. I became fed up with the service and decided to write a review because people need to know.
I've always ignored 1 and 5 star ratings, feeling that 3 and 4 are probably the most accurate and so I ignored the warnings. The one stars were, unfortunately, right. This place is absolutely filthy. Stay away at all costs. The building smells of urine, cigarettes, and weed. They showed us the new updated unit, but then gave us a run down unit. When we moved in, they either didn't properly clean, or didn't clean the unit at all, the cupboards are broken, there are water stains on the ceiling, the carpet is disgusting - a brand new pair of white socks turned grey after a few hours of walking around, not to mention the smell emanating from the carpet which continues to this day to reek, and I've found mold. Management has been very slow and unresponsive. You talk to them in person and they'll tell you they'll get it taken care of, but then it sort of falls off the radar. Do yourself a favor and find something nicer, even if it means it costs a little more and you have to eliminate something else from your budget.
Hot tub doesn't work Grills don't work Fire pit doesn't work The floodlights from the parking lot fill my room every night NO privacy. None Dirty, unkept, unresponsive staff, no parking, and I am kept up at night because I can hear every word my neighbors say. Worst part is the manager seriously doesn't care about anything. I read the reviews but they convinced me I'd love it here. I don't. I seriously have had an emotional breakdown because I hate this place so much.
This place is horrible, dirty and disgusting. They let anyway live here and then people leave trash in the halls, people sleep in the hallways and people play loud music all the time. The parking is horrible and everything is so expensive and the apartments are ugly and dirty looking. My apartment wasn't even completely cleaned when we moved in. I hate this place
Definately not worth the amount they are asking for.manager here is really full of herself is very disrespectful. The hallways are filth the entire place smells like urine and garbage. A few apartments have cheep upgrades but the majority are still the original stuff from the 1970's and are filthy.
Hard to see something if they don't show you. Looked updated but I wouldn't recommend .
