Very disgusting complex. NASTY dirty units. Under Managed, trash EVERYWHERE. Damp and moldy units ridden with roaches and vermin. Obnoxious neighbors. My mail was stolen. Christmas gifts, everything. The complex did nothing about it. It’s not a safe location. You can get a lot nicer for what you'd pay here. Living here was an absolute nightmare.

Please do not ever live here. I started living here Aug 8, 2019. It is now Nov 23, 2019 and I have had to put in more than one work order a month. Their maintenance crew is absolutely idiotic. It took them FOUR DAYS in the middle of AUGUST to figure out that the reason why my AC was broken was because they needed to flip a breaker. This was after multiple different crew members came to the apartment and told me to my face as I was sweating that there was nothing wrong and that the best they could do was put a window unit in (which did absolutely nothing). I had to get my shower handle replaced the second month in because it wouldn’t turn, just spun around loosely. The AC broke a third time in mid October, and the windows weren’t sealed properly so when a storm came through my living room floors were covered in water. They still to this day have not come and fixed it. And now, as of a week ago I have a RAT PROBLEM. They told me it would be fixed a week from when I called because “the exterminators only come on Thursdays”. It is now Saturday, two days after the supposed exterminators were supposed to come and I just had to put in ANOTHER work order to get rid of them. Do not waste your money here, do not ever live here. AVOID at all costs!

Office personnel & maintenance staff have ALWAYS treated me like i was the only Tennant here. Never have issues & very easy to auto pay all rent. Love this place...

I love living here and have always felt valued by front desk staff because they do see me a lot for a lot of reasons! Some of the maintenance issues I've run into have been frustrating, but not totally out of the ordinary for apartments in the price range we/most people can afford.

only negative would be the lack of assigned parking spaces, sometimes when I get off work at 3am, coming home to a full lot is ridiculous. I also have a very wide vehicle theres only about 2 sections i can park in anyway without getting door dinged, but parking in the street when i have handicap plates sucks.
I love this conmmunity, everyone that works here is friendly and helpful

Allocated water metering is definitely a system with pro's and con's, but one being adopted more and more in the industry. The management team is abhorrent, the building is riddled with mold, the ventilation system is so incredibly inundated with dust that the vents have tracks of dust around the grates and the air filter has to be changed every single week for the air conditioning unit to be able to make it a somewhat liveable temperature. The management company does little to nothing to remedy any and all situations brought to their attention- no matter how many times you bring anything up. They allow neighbors to be rude and disruptive to the point where sleep is not something you can get in the home and would rather threaten to get rid of you for having an issue instead of just simply resolving the issues brought to their attention. If leases were not contractually binding this would not be the place I live. Not would I ever recommend it to others.

This is a beautiful community with some great amenities. My friend lives here & has lots of great things to say about the staff & her overall experience. I met the Property Manager Glen and he was very welcoming. When my apartment is up for lease I will definitely consider a move here!

I love my apartment. I love the layout, but inthink for 1000$ the faux wood should be carried throughout the floors and due to TX heat, blinds that reflect the heat away should be in place as well as a ceiling fan in that high ceiling living room. Im not kidding when i say my ac is 68 and its still 80 degrees till sundown.

I would recommend this apartment community because of the living condition is great and also the staff is very positive and friendly of helping your needs to get approval for the apartment. Maintenance work orders are being seen to, and the work has improved, as well as communication, but the speed at which they are being performed is still far below what I would expect from a community for a unit I am now paying $1,011 for. I know others are paying more than we are. Yes, we have an unrenovated unit. Yes, those units require more maintenance and have a higher incidence of issues because they are older. Yes, some of the problems with the windows are from structural problems that can't be fixed right away and we just need to deal with it. However, two months turn around on the stove work order is still not acceptable. When I recommend Terrace Cove, I usually do so with the caveat that maintenance will not see to work orders in a timely manner. I apologize to continue beating this dead horse.
I lived here for a year and they shut the water off at least 5 times during my time there; no water for days at a time is not okay. Other than that, not too bad.

Regrettably, when deemed necessary due to repairs, there has been a need to shut off the property water when a major plumbing issue is addressed. We provide plenty of notification to our residents prior to this happening, schedule the work for mid-day to inconvenience as few residents as possible and strive to have all work completed in a timely manner. Occasionally, an unforeseen plumbing repair complication can cause the water outage to last longer than expected. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused but assure you that we have seen a major reduction in water shut off frequency. I will recommend this apt to my friends and family, if I hadn't bought a home I would of renew my lease here.
I would recommend this apartment because they have great staff and also willing to help you get approved for a apartment.
It's further a way then I would like and traffic is rough. And could use quite a bit of updates before it's worth the drive and price for the location.
I have lived here for 6 years and in this time it has gotten progressively worse. Apartments are overpriced for what they are and insulation/weatherization is terrible resulting in a high electric bill. Maintenance is slow if they fix anything at all. Parking is also terrible and not enforced very well. I had to pick up three different parking permits within the span of two months because the office kept changing towing companies but have yet to see any enforcement. I was also promised a 5 year reserved parking spot over 5 months ago but have yet to receive it. Charges are added to your account for no reason and you can never get anyone in the phone to explain. Occasionally you will get an email response. Overall, I would not recommend and am counting down the days until I move to my new complex.
Based on this alone, I would because it was taken care of in a timely manner, and it still working great a week later.
These apts are beautiful I love the floors but bathroom floor is lifted and stink.

I love the layout and over all it's a good community. I can tell they're trying to make positive changes, but a lot of stuff still needs to be fixed before I would recommend it to my friends.
Terrace Cove is by far, not only the worst place I have ever lived, but also the worst place I have ever known anyone personally to have lived. Management does not care about the residents at all. Most of the time, I don't even get an answer and have never had them return a voicemail. Same goes for corporate, except that I have literally never had them answer the phone. Maintenance in non-existent, I'm quite certain at least was one of these building will eventually burn or just fall. They do have a completely incompetent repair team though. The "emergency" line does not even get answered. Most work orders go ignored and of the ones that are completed, it will take at least 2 attempts and 2 days, if not more. The buildings themselves are also a disaster. Cheap and frequently cracked/broken windows, no insulation whatsoever (window or wall, sound or temperature). Water shutoffs at least once a week, without notices, phone calls, emails, etc. In the 10 months I have now been here I've gone as many as 4 days without water. Again, without notice so there is literally feces sitting in my home for days. Somehow, despite this I received my highest water bill to date, up P, as well. Management's response to this was changing the outgoing message to "If you are calling about your water, please do not leave a voicemail." Another major issue for me has been air conditioning, they refuse to replace the rusted old units and instead "repair" them. Mine personally has gone out 3 times in 1 summer, again overnight, without response from "maintenance" and requiring far to much effort on my part when dealing with the office. The grounds are filthy though I will say they have taken care of the bushes growing over sidewalks and whatnot, for the most part. Large homeless population in the area as well leading to frequent dumpster divers and grocery carts left around the property for days, or weeks. These people are preying on the Austin housing boom, it's really a shame.
I would recommend this place. Overall good satisfaction till now.

the treadmill situation is a big deal to me, so, not having a complete workout facility, and the neighbors have been kind of sketchy in both apartments I have lived in by being loud, fighting, throwing trash every where, but that isn't the apartments fault necessarily. just maybe better screening of applicants
These are nice, reasonably affordable apartments in a great part of town. Assuming everything is ready on move-in day, I'd have zero complaints

Bugs are still an issue and pest control sprays every week on Tuesdays.
When there is water issues they have to cuut the water off on the entire property. (BAD)
I was happy here for a while, but now I can't wait to leave. After being given notice that they needed to come to my apt within 24-48 hours, I asked to only have them come in that time when I was present so my cat would not try to get out when they came. They agreed, and they know I always request to be present if anyone needs to come into my apt for maintenance, etc. they not only ignored that, but they entered 72 hours after I was notified. I was home for the entire 48 hours, but the next day they came in without permission, after the time window they said had expired. In that visit they broke one of my patio tables, and the supervisor has yet to even call me after I spoke with the assistant manager. They also will tow your car to San Antonio If you don't have a sticker. They have very poorly painted "visitor" and "resident" parking, making it scary for any visitors you might have. As soon as I moved in I had to insist on a new fridge because mine was so worn out it didn't seal between the door. It wouldn't even make ice cubes in the freezer. Also, I've been waiting for them to replace my screen on the biggest window since the day I moved in- and it wasn't there to begin with. Most people who have dogs don't pick up after them, and the pet deposits are steep. You also are required to have renters insurance to live here. Wasp nests were everywhere on my patio when I moved in. Good luck everyone...
Lived here for over a year and have not had any complaints. The office is good and always follow up with me and my requests. The neighborhood isn't too good but Austin is growing like crazy. Maybe better tenants will move in.
