Property Ratings at Terrace Lake
Lived at Terrace lake for 2 years and rent kept going up and it kept getting worse. Maintenance was bad at fixing the right things even when specified. The snow removal got worse after rent went up and surprised no one was injured. Management is bad and very awful to work with and can't talk to anyone on the phone. The move out process was bad. Couldn't enjoy our apartment for the last 2 months we lived in it, because the constantly showed it. After doing a lot of cleaning they claimed it was a mess and charged us for 8 hours of cleaning of dust. The move out review said drains were acceptable and then they changed it to get more money out of us. Worst experience of my life 0/5 stars.

We are sorry to hear your experience was not positive while live at Terrace Lake. We wish you only the best.
I find it so UNFAIR how the policy is NO PETS. & can even be evicted if someone has a pet. But yet again i see a lot of people with cats & dogs. When i asked Jenny about that. Her response was only some are approve. & when i asked her what was the procedures to get approved or who can i contact about that, and she said she can not give any info on that... WHY, is my question. Does not seem fair at all. & quite frankly i find it ridiculous. If its a no pet policy then ALL should have no pets. If those who pets are paying more, let us know, im sure we (the rest of the community) wouldn’t mind paying more just to have a pet. Love the place don’t get me wrong, very calm and beautiful but these “policies “ are ridiculous.
Property Manager at Terrace Lake, Responded To This Review
While Terrace Lake has a strict “no pet” policy, state and federal law require us to allow certain residents animal companions, which are not considered pets. Short of meeting those special circumstances, we do not permit pets. We apologize for the confusion surrounding the pet policy at Terrace Lake, however we are not at liberty to discuss the details of these animals with other renters. Please remember this is not one of our “policies” but it’s state and federal law. We are happy to hear you love your place.
My fiancé and I have only lived here a short while, but have been dying to leave a review since we first got in contact with management (Jed) in April. We live in the 1b1b loft style, Coral, and love it! It’s everything we could have hoped for and more. The interior is gorgeous and up to date. The space is huge for the price, and a great/unique layout. The apartment is silent - we have kids living next to us and I only know that because I’ve seen them walk in, have never heard them. Residents are nice and good mixture of people (small families, young adults, married couples). Beautiful, natural lighting all throughout the day in every room. Next door to a nice residential neighborhood, but right off the highway and close to things like gas stations, restaurants, and movie theaters. Yet, still very nature-y (without the bugs). Lawn is well kept and management has been incredible. The only “issue” is that the loft does get quite warm - air doesn’t seem to flow well up there. However, with a fan, it’s doable. I’ve heard from others living in a bedroom in the loft, it’s unbearable in the hot summer months, which makes sense. But were using it as a office space so no biggie. Seriously, can not recommend this place more. Speaking to management - we set up a tour in April and a few days before, Jed called to let us know that someone put down a deposit on it. We were really bummed and asked if there was a way we could be notified if another one opens up. Within the next two weeks, as soon as something did, Jed notified us and we were able to set up a tour right away. He kept us updated about the status of the play and gave us tips about when to apply and put down a deposit in order for us to get it. This is our first apartment together and I’m a worry wart, so I’ve had plenty of questions which Jed is more than happy to answer and always answers within 24 hours, usually in an hour. Beyond happy with the personal touches and to have a management that genuinely cares, especially even after you’ve moved in

Thank you very much for taking the time to review Terrace Lake! We are thrilled that you have found an apartment you love. (Those Coral models are super cool!) We also appreciate your kind words regarding our management staff…we’ll be sure to pass along this review to Jed!
I want to start my review by thanking Jed, for always responding quick to any maintenance, or concerns I had. The apartments are in a great location. They are very reasonably priced and quite. I loved living here! Honestly, what sets these apartments apart from others is the management team. I've lived in many places where once you sign the lease they no longer care about you. If you want fast efficient service from your landlord, and a super cute apartment; this is the best place to live! Thanks again to Terrace lake, and especially Jed, for making the past year great and worry free.

Wow, we really appreciate the kind words! So happy to hear you love your place, and I'll be sure to pass on the kudos to Jed :)
My roommate and I lived at Terrace Lake for two years while we were in college. We just moved out at the end of May and are sad to see our time at this complex come to an end. The on-site manager, Jed, is absolutely fantastic. He does a great job of responding to messages and answering questions or fixing small issues in a very timely manner. If we had any questions regarding our unit, the complex, or anything else related to living there, we got a response within a half hour. It was also very nice that Jed was able to fix a lot of our small problems within the same day. There were maybe 2 or 3 times in our entire time at Terrace Lake that we had to actually have maintenance come (he was still able to schedule this within a few days as well). I will also note that the unit was not cleaned to our satisfaction when we moved in, but Jed got on that right away and had the company cleaners come back the next day, as well as deduct a cleaning fee from our rent for that month. We also really enjoyed the neighborhood that Terrace Lake is located in and the value/maintenance of the property. It's easy to end up in a shady area of East Green Bay, but Terrace Lake is located in a safe place, just down the road from a Kwik Trip, YMCA, coffee shop, and a few other little places. The property is well maintained in the summer and winter. There is a crew who plows and salts in the winter and gets it done early enough that I could leave for an 8am class with no problem. In the summer, there is a crew who takes care of the lawn and maintains the grounds as well. My only complaint in our time at Terrace Lake is that there was a few months time period when Jed was gone and we had a different on-site manager, Sarah, who did not answer our questions or get back to us about important issues in a timely manner (and I mean we did not hear back for a week or so at a time) so we had to call the main office. Luckily, they brought Jed back and everything went back to being great again. Overall, I would give the management, value, and neighborhood a 10/10.

Feedback like this makes my day! It is so appreciated. Thank you for taking time out of your day to let us know about your experience living at Terrace Lake, and I'll be sure to let Jed know, too! All the best!
These apartments were my home for almost 3 years (longest place I had lived without a roommate). The apartment I lived in was very quiet and very nice. Most of all, the manager I kept in contact throughout those years was Jed and he was always available for questions or concerns and I cannot say enough of about his professionalism and friendliness towards me and my unit. He legit went above and beyond the call of duty and I was able to text him anytime I needed something and he was always very quick to respond. Terrace Lake Luxury Units are very lucky to have him as part of their team.

Dear Terrace Lake Resident, We very much appreciate your positive feedback! Thank you for taking a moment of your time to let us know. We will be sure to tell Jed the good review! Sincerely, Lexington Management
My wife and I have lived here since February of 2015. We are moving out the end of September, (rent going up and saving to buy a house.) Overall the complex is nice, I wish the units had more than one A/C it does get quite warm in bedrooms in the summer, heat included is a nice thing. I highly recommend signing up for budget billing, otherwise your electric bill will go from 50 in the winter to 120 in the summer. There was a period where management changed hands and it really went down hill but just recently the old manager came back. He is such a great manager, communicates quickly and will do what ever he can to help you out. I am honestly sad I am leaving now that he is back. The in between manager was less than competent at the job, posting notices of entry late at night. now with Jed back, this complex will be able to return to what it was. 100% occupancy with a waiting list. If you are looking for a place to live in on the east side these are overall nice apartments, some design flaws with certain unit layouts. but overall if you can look past that and want a manager that will bend over backwards to get you what you need. Come check out the complex, Nice community never had issues with the neighbors, the trail around the complex is nice to take walks on too. Only down side is the no pets rule. I am sad to be leaving but hope others will take the opportunity like we did with our first apartment. We loved our apartment and the complex so much we got 2 of our friends to stay in the complex too. the referral program is kind of nice, refer a friend and get 100 off rent(for a month) once they move in? not a bad deal.

Thank you for taking the time to review Terrace Lake. We're happy that you've chosen to live with us for the last year and half...and buying a house is very exciting! We wish you much success and happiness in the future. Your comments are appreciated. I will make sure to pass along the kind words you've shared regarding the site manager. Best of luck to you and yours!
We LOVE our apartment here at Terrace Lake and would definitely recommend them to anyone. However, it is very frustrating when trying to get in contact with the onsite manager. She is new (as of January 2016 I believe), but it is difficult to get ahold of her when you need something. You will need to call/text many times in order to get some form of a response and may take a while to get what you actually need. If you can handle that, you should definitely check out these apartments because they are in an awesome neighborhood and the apartments are in great condition.

I would not recommend these apartments to anyone. The onsite manager Sarah is completely unprofessional. She does not answer phone calls or emails. She is rarely in the office she has on site. We had to call her several times and text her to even get a response. She does a poor job keeping track of what apartments are available. Also she does not keep paperwork very organized. If you want to live at at apartment where you can't communicate with management this is the place for you. If you ever have a problem you need fixed it will be a long time for her to get back to you. I recommend choosing a different place with prompt professional management.

Thank you for taking the time to review our property. We take much care, time and effort in training our staff, and we are sorry if you experienced difficulty reaching the onsite manager. The hours spent at the property are rarely sitting in the office. Most often the managers are walking the property, showing apartments and supervising the building and grounds. If ever you experience trouble getting your concerns or questions answered, please feel free to reach out to us at the home office. We are here to help!
My fiancé and I moved in here after reading some bad reviews about the place because one of our friends lives here and told us that they absolutely loved it here. I'm very glad we took their advice. The manager is honest and reliable, maintenence can be slow during some weeks, but otherwise do a great job and are very time efficient. The buildings are secure and the other tenants are polite and unobtrusive. If you're looking to rent, this place is one you should truly check out.

Terrace Lake is a great place to live. It doesn't have a lake by it but it's a good price with landlords who care about their tenants. It has a connected garage, A/C,
