Property Ratings at Terraces of Marine Creek
Just signed my 9th year lease at Terraces of Marine Creek Apartments. Affordable (income restricted) AND QUALITY. I feel safe living here. There are minimal loud neighbors, no theft or vandalism of property, no hanging out in the parking lot, no loud music, NO GUNSHOTS etc. The swimming pool has been closed completely since before COVID and was rarely open before that. Management is fair and reasonable.
We've been here for many years and it has gone 'downhill' over the years, especially with this latest manager and staff. They now put children in the non children area, allow far too many people living in one and two bedrooms, seem to not care about the quality of people now as they've got worse, more combative, not as nice and simply lower quality. The place looks decent on the outside yet is trashier, louder and the maintenance is so hard to get done. It's like lipstick on a pig. And since Covid 19, they've used it as an excuse to cut off the pool, laundry, work out area and the main facility. You have to get an appointment just to talk to them and they're not in the office nearly as much. It's like they got lazy with the Covid and use it as an excuse for everything. It's been months since I've even seen the manager in her office. Used to be a really good place and on the surface, they try and make it look that way yet once you're here, it's like pulling teeth to get anything done. And they fix things after they've just got too bad. And now they make you share the water costs with others even if they use more than you. I'd honestly suggest looking elsewhere.

The apartments are newly painted and are attractive. The grounds are well kept. The staff is nice and friendly. The location is close to nearby stores and schools. I am happy living here.
It okay sort to me.. but i like nice place different experience and enjoy with my favorite patio i love it out flower and living became peaceful joy enjoy around..
I have lived here for 2 years (2013-present 2015) Cons: When I moved in the gates were non-functioning they were "fixed" over a year later. They work on and off. The hot tub was non-functioning and now two years later finally fixed. The pool is only open Memorial Day to Labor Day even thought is still HOT for another month. The pool is often close randomly due to issues of not having proper maintenance. The workout room was non-functioning for the first year and now is open but very cheap equipment. Managment doesn't seem to care about the tenants once they have singed their lease. They do the bare minimum, they can be very rude. Why do I stay??? Pros: for the cost $750(2013) $770(2014) $790(2015) for 2bd 2 bath 950sqft. the actual apartment is large and nice. (Could use new carpet) I have looked at a lot of apartments and they are either much more $$ or not equal to this apartment. The grounds are well kept since they have a professional company take care of that. I hope to find a better place next year. Hopefully a house.
This apartment complex is great. You have a great view for seeing the lake convient because it's close to the community college . It's a quiet neighborhood and close to everything you need the team is helpful on whatever you need no Matter what it is they fix it or help you as soon as possible I will renew my lease
