South Oak Cliff stands as a relatively industrial neighborhood, situated along Mountain Creek Lake and its adjoining green space. In this open woodland, discover a soccer complex, flowing creek, and numerous golf courses!
With many big business’s distribution centers and warehouses on the west side of town, South Oak Cliff does indeed boast an industrial feel. But a few miles to the east, you’ll discover picturesque suburban neighborhoods with paved sidewalks, tree-lined streets, and cozy single-family homes.
The majority of the land that’s not taken up by big-time industry buildings and residential neighborhoods is overtaken by sprawling forests. If you enjoy creekside trails and a small town feel, South Oak Cliff is the place to be. Situated south of Mountain View College and Kiest Park, and about 15 miles southwest of Downtown Dallas, residents of South Oak Cliff have quick and easy access to major attractions in Texas’s vibrant metropolis.

Property Ratings at Tesoro at 12
If I could give zero stars I would. Maintenance takes forever and there are plumbing issues. I had mold growing in my apartment and their solution was to paint over it. I stayed here for two years and that was two years too long. In my washer/ dryer connect water would constantly come out of the pipe and overflow in my kitchen whenever my upstairs neighbor would wash clothes. I didn’t even want to get a washer and dryer because of how often that would happen. The water would also rise in my kitchen sink. It would be dirty water that smelled AWFUL. I had to throw away a lot of my dishes due to the stinky sewage water that was coming out the sink and mold in the dishwasher. There is a roach infestation so be mindful. I wouldn’t recommend staying here.

I’ve been here almost two years and I love it.Honestly no complaints thus far. ??
Property management was very disrespectful when I asked about insurance charges from a company they no longer work with. I was kicked out of the office and they didn’t want to provide the number for corporate. I don’t understand how they can be so unprofessional. They are never willing to help or resolve anything here .
Saffron Village is a very nice community. The office takes their time to show and assist in pre-qualification for leasing. Tracey takes great care of her tenants and is always courteous and attentive to all service request. Tracey also participates in giving back to her property community as well as offering insight about and around Dallas for all new out of towners just relocating to Dallas. I enjoy the quite community as well as my neighbors.
I have experienced the good, the bad and the ugly here. From multiple management changes, bad company ethics and run down unit. However as this new manager Tracey has graced the property. My opinion has changed. She has been a worldwind of life. Compassoniate and fair, literally the only reason I renewed my lease. I appreciate the personal touch she has exhibited in her management. While there are still issues to be addresssed. I am committed to hang in with her. She makes this feel like home. Thank you Tracey
I would give 0 stars if I were able!!! As a Christian I care about your well-being. I had a bullet shot through my 5 year old daughter's room and management did not care. Mayan Managent as well did nothing although this disrupted my and my daughter's peace and quiet that we are entitled to by Texas law as a right and did not allow me to break my lease although our safety was at jeapardy. The police confirmed it was a bullet coming in through the outside and Tracy the manager argued that it was not although she came to look at it, the police said it was and I have pictures to prove this. This apartment had about 5 managers within the year that I lived there. All were nice except for Tracy, the existing manager. She called me a liar to my face on several occasions. Another occasion was when trying to go to the office to give a money order for rent saying I was not there when they were at lunch, which again I took a picture of and was blatantly rude to me. I have never had a manager this hateful and rude, ever! The office does not have a "Will return at..." sign it hours of operation sign at all and I waited in the parking lot with 6 other families waiting for Tracy too come back for 45 minutes. Extremely unprofessional!! Mayan management did not seem to care about her awful customer service and continued to try to get as much money out of me as they could at the end although I paid rent on time the entire time living there and was a very good and quiet tenant. On top of all of this, if someone is smoking above you or near your unit, the smoke seeps through the vents, exposing you to second hand smoke. You can hear every footstep upstairs, every noise, every voice and there is a lot of yelling from tenants all around you. When I talked to management about this they did not care either. Please run way from this place and do not give Windsor Townhomes on Altoona drive, aka Myan Management your business. 6/28/2018
Been Waiting Almost 3 Weeks For maintenance to come out, I called the office Multiple times and also stopped by to put the orders in and nothing still hasn’t been done & no one has been out, they want their money On time but Will never Fix anything in a timely manner , SUCKS!
Do not move here... it is not worth it! Management is rude and they don't fix anything! Plus they are not townhomes..they are basic apartments that has been around for years.
This is the third time I have received a late payment/non payment notice and the other two times when I showed them I had paid online they said "Oh, well you paid on online we just didn't credit your account" they didn't apologize and this time they've issued an eviction notice today for 7th. I will have to take off work tomorrow to fight this and show on their own website that I have paid on time every month. Also, they say their hours are 9-6 but I have NEVER seen them open past 5pm.
Please do not move to Windsor Townhomes. There are no Townhomes. Management is very rude and they seem to have a new manager every few months. Nothing EVER gets fixed in the apartments and they are full of mold, roaches and bed bugs. Yet there trying to fix up the outside to draw more people in. They overcharge for rent, water and they do charge an eviction fee if you pay your rent late. Three people have died in the past week. Don't let these apartments fool you into renting from them. They are not a good or even decent place to live. They are not clean and they are not safe.
This apartment complex is actually nice on the inside. It's spacious and has custom lighting. A bit hoodish, but they TRY to maintain it. The maintenance service sucks! Request for repairs are often ignored, even after you request service more than once. Management tries to be professional, but falls short. Very short. Indeed they are courteous, but they fail to keep you updated on the hold up on requested repairs, as if they are hoping you just forget about it, and eventually fade away. Rent is reasonable, but they have a FIXED WATER RATE that is outrageously too high for an apartment. Instead of averaging up each tenants water use they FIX A SET RATE (2 tenants=$60) and add that amount to your rent. I have lived in a two story, four bedroom home with 4 occupants, and my water bill wasn't $60 dollars! The fact that this property has a fixed water rate is a deal breaker. Also, for those of you who can recall the comedy show, 'Good Times'.... waiting for repairs to get done is like dealing with 'Bookman'. I hate to say that, but it's true. I have waited more than 3 weeks after requesting a maintenence visit. That's inexcusable. The air conditioning units are outdated and barely kick out cool air or heat. I have requested repairs off and on for 2 years, and yet the unit is STILL malfunctioning. On July 3rd, 2017...managers told my daughter to keep the air conditioning unit on 65, after she complained that the apt. was SMOLDERING HOT. Yesterday, July 4th 2017, the temperatures inside of my apt. reached 95 degrees. The air condition unit was not working. The fans weren't blowing. I called maintenance EMERGENCY number, and NO REPLY or relief. Called the next business day to the office....left a message...no reply. Called again. No reply. These are the type of townhomes where you are FORCED to contact either the BBB (Better Business Bureau) or call your local news outlet to expose how HORRIBLE their maintenance/management service n regards to their response to fixing things inside of your apt. DO NOT MOVE HERE!!! Please, find better. You will remember this review if you MOVE HERE. I promise you that...
