San Antonio blends a rich heritage with modern innovation, resulting in a metropolis teeming with true Texan heart. San Antonio’s distinctive environment reflects centuries of style and a diverse array of culture, which is best exemplified in the La Villita Historic Arts Village. The Alamo may be the most renowned structure in the city, but there are plenty of magnificent historical buildings to see—from the Emily Morgan Hotel to the Meyer Halff House.
Stretched along the San Antonio River is the famous River Walk, where residents and visitors alike can walk or bike from the San Antonio Zoo to the Witte Museum, the historic Majestic Theatre, the Shops at Rivercenter, the Missions of San Antonio and back again.
The city and the surrounding region offer endless opportunities for exploration.

Property Ratings at Tetro Student Village
Bed bugs and roaches everywhere! If you care about your health look elsewhere. Carpet and the mattresses are filled with bed bugs. Poor maintenance. They don't fix anything! Too many robberies and break ins also.
Worst apartment complex ever! Bed bugs in these apartments are biting students living here and the management doesn’t even care. Bugs bit my daughter’s eyes and it was swollen. HVAC did not work and it was not fixed for several weeks which attracted many bugs during the recent cold spells in San Antonio! Carpet is infested with bed bugs and roaches all over the place. Very poor maintenance.. A big health risk! They took 2 months to fix AC, toilet does not flush etc. Too many issues to list!
I love it here! My apartment was clean and ready for me when I moved in. The shuttle to UTSA is super convenient and the staff gives us free food all the time!
This place LOVES to nickel and dime every single resident here of the money they don't have. Have a piece of trash in your garage? Clean it or give us $25 thanks. Oh is that a crooked window curtain I see? Give us the money to replace the entire window. The parking situation is horrible with very limited guest parking, constant towing, and a laughable resident parking policy. The management here may appear friendly, but trust me, they're completely useless and will not help with any real problems you have. I urge you, potentially future resident, to look at your other options before giving your money over to these crooks.
Zero guest parking so forget about having anybody over. They are extremely strict on parking so prepare to get towed. They will charge huge fees for anything out of place, like a broken blind, or leaving a broom outside on the balcony. They advertise a rent before the hidden fees that they will throw at you which will rack up to $100 plus if your not careful. Moving out after one semester.

Went to look at property with little brother for upcoming semester. Exceptional staff and affordable. Everyone was so nice and friendly. Can’t wait to visit him at Tetro.
Do not live here, when I moved in I was welcomed with flees that bit me all over my legs then I was kicked out of my apartment for 3 days while they fogged the place out and replaced the carpet. Then when I get back into my apartment everything that I had just moved in had literally been thrown into my bathroom multiple makeup palettes were broken my gross work shoes where wrapped in my bed sheets it was ridiculous. There are parties literally all the time at the pool so if you live by it your room will be shaking from the noise all the time. Multiple times drunk people banged on my door at 1-3 in the morning. I was out of a credit card for 2 weeks cause I ordered a new one and when it got there the front office workers sent it away saying "no one lived in my apartment" there's dog droppings everywhere cause no one picks up after their dogs. The pools been broken twice from drunk people at the parties getting glass in it and the area is always TRASHED after the parties like the pool will actually be green. There's absolutely no guest parking and instead of creating more since obviously people are always going there for parties they actually took AWAY open guest parking and turned some into "reserved" parking which is where your a guest but pay 10 dollars to park there so obviously they only care about making money overall I'm so glad to be done with this place I mean it's student living so it's not ever gonna be that great
We moved in during the month of August to get prepared for life at University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA). The manager was extremely accommodating and supportive. Krystal extended herself by arriving outside scheduled work hours to complete the leasing process. Additionally she assured us that she was willing to make our stay comfortable and clean. I applaud her for making all the special arrangements!!
First off, the gate code was not changed at all. The codes remained the same for the entire year. They even gave us gate cards that were supposed to work. Not to my surprise, they didn’t work at all and they won’t let us return them. So we had to hold onto these gate cards for a year. If you lost the gate card that didn’t work, you would have to pay a fine. Keep in mind, the workers knew about the gate cards not working. So, this resulted in numerous people parking everywhere at the apartment complex. You could never find a parking spot even when you lived there and you could never find visitor parking for your own guest. So what did they do to solve this? They took over resident parking spots and made them reserved visitor parking spots for $10 a day. This means less parking for residents and more for guest. A lot of residents at Tetro are college students and are not willing to pay $10 for a parking spot. Instead the workers get to park there. When having a problem being locked out, you will now have to pay a fined during the day when the office is opened rather than having it opened by a worker for free because that’s what being an actual nice human being people do. If you are locked out at night, you will have to wait about an hour to get it opened and pay a $50 fee.
oved Tetro for the first year I lived here, that was before management changed.. Since October of 2016 my AC has been out, off and on. Maitenance comes in a "fixes" it yet it quickly breaks less than a week every time. It is now June. It is 100 degrees outside, it is nearing 95 in my apartment. I am trying to attend summer classes and live here but it is UNBEARABLE I havent slept in days because of how hot it is. I can barely get my work done. No matter how many utility requests we submit they never fix it for us. WE ARE SUFFERING, they have showed no compassion to help us out, and wait it gets better... they gave me lease violation one day when they were trying to fix it when no formal request had been submitted and they technically had no reason to be in my room. An obvious blackmail attempt. SO if you want to be blackmailed, go ahead and live here. My utility bill is huge from the ac being on from their attempts to fix it. This is 100% their problem that they have blamed on us while we suffer and literally pay the consequences. I would never recommend tetro to anyone. CAUTION if you get apartment 1134 next year you are SCREWED
Tetro student apartments was a brand new complex when I signed for a two bedroom it was still being built when I signed. When we moved in none of the amenities were finished. When they were done they were nice. Mailboxes weren't finished until 5 months in. The parking situation was horrible because there wasn't any spots available because of construction workers, guests, also the tenants with townhouses with garages never used the garages and used everyone else's parking spots. In the beginning we didn't have to pay for utilities because of the inconvenience, but then out of no where started charging us for the utilities. For a two bedroom we each were charged $60 for utilities even though we were never home. Also in the beginning they obviously didn't check the apartment thoroughly because there were nails on the bedroom carpets from the construction workers. The office workers were unprofessional and just seemed like they favored their favorites. There were always parties and noise and cops at the end of the nights. There were clothes thrown on my vehicle multiples nights. The room sizes were big and the closets were a nice size. I didn't really enjoy the showers but the restrooms were big. The living room was an appropriate size and the kitchen was nice with a bar. Lastly I would just advise to really think about the student apartments you are going to sign with especially if they are brand new.
