Proud of its historic moniker “The Immigrant City,” Lawrence has long been one of the most diverse communities in Massachusetts. Dozens of city parks offer plenty of space for outdoor activities, and the 3.5-mile Spicket River Greenway gives folks a scenic route for walking, running, and biking through several riverfront parks and neighborhoods.
Lawrence is also known for being the hometown of great American poet Robert Frost, and the Robert Frost Foundation works tirelessly to promote his legacy in the local school system. Lawrence’s position near I-93 puts Boston less than an hour’s drive away from your apartment. MBTA service also connects Lawrence to Boston by rail.

Property Ratings at TGM Andover Park
The parking lot I legit had to get a plug in my tire for as ut looks like it's never been maintained and the holes would pop your tires or break your suspension. They don't do assigned parking so sometimes you have to park in the shopping Plaza up the road. Within the next few months it really got bad. The ceiling one night just gave way and started leaking all over. Then they had to come in and rip it down in the kitchen. This was maybe a month process. During which they never told me when they were coming but maybe 1x or 2x. I complained to the director if engineering about it and it didn't change. Then they sanded....ohhh did they sand and it was allll over my appartment. They also marked up the so called new carpet that they just charged me 1k for marks on it, and got paint on the cubords and some of my personal stuff. Put down a tarp, want me to train them? I talked to the director again and he said they would send someone, never did. Then called again and he came in and somewhat attempted to clean it. I HAD BLACK MOLD IN MY BATHROOM growing through walls into desk area. They came in, ripped the wall apart and it took them ANOTHER month to dry the wall all while not even being offered to stay somewheres while the bathroom and living room wall FILLED with black mold to the point it was on the outside of the sheet rock was there. So I got to stay in a dust filled, mold filled apartment for now multiple months. Oh wait, there's more! What an exsperience. The laundry ceiling now was leaking! Another month for that now. What a great way to spend months in your home away from home. Want more? I got you. How about customer service. April, the manager they have told me after getting notice all towers were being replaced said I wouldn't be charged for them taking the old one and I getting the new one even though I paid and signed for the old wifi tower. GUESS WHAT? I WAS CHARGED!!!! I had to call after I moved out again about their failures for miss communication... The story continues? What? I moved out early, I get it I need to pay till the end of the lease and go figure they didn't find anyone to move in, they even said they were having low amounts of people looking, that's fine I get it. I turned my electric bill back to the electric company and over to tgm with the completion of my lease and wanna know something........they sent me to get money collected from a utility collection agencie for their mess up?
I moved here little over a month ago, the leasing office staff is great, and Jose C in maintance is great very friendly and knowledgeable.
Great place to live. Everyone in the front office is amazing, there are fun community events, the maintenance team is very friendly and responds quickly. It's a safe place in a good location, been here for almost 2 years and haven't had any issues!
I love it here! Rents have gone up more the last year, but compared to other communities, it's still one of the best prices for what you get! Definitely the best fitness center of any other place I have lived! At no extra cost! The community director has been here for a few years and the place has really improved! Only wish they would fix the building gates, but otherwise, couldn't be happier with my apartment and the community!
I lived here for almost two years and I’m a bit sad to be leaving. Maintenance is fast about checking or fixing a work order and they are very nice. The front office staff were always pleasant with me. Sometimes neighbors are loud but what can you do? Parking can be a bit of a headache late late at night if you don’t have an assigned spot. The gym was good for me and the computer lab and available printing was great. I never got a chance to try the pool. For me, the plumbing in my unit wasn’t the best. I had a beautiful view of nature. Lots of food places near by and a dog park. The community all together was nice for me. I will definitely try to get my name on the list when I return to the area.
This place is the worst place to rent! They scam you by showing you the model unit, but none of the units are in the condition of the model. That is why they don’t show you the actual unit you are going to rent before you move in! They sell you into the place by offering low cost rental units and no security deposit! Once you move in be prepared for the worst management experience of your life! We had a water main burst about be our apartment completely flooding our apartment. After it took maintenance 4.5 hours to find the shut off valve we were forced to vacate the apartment. During the incident maintenance asked us to call 911 to get the fire department to help him find the shut off valve. This is a direct code violation and we may have been able to save some of our stuff and stay in our apartment if they would not allowed water to pour into our apartment for over 4 hours. It has been a week that we have been displaced from our apartment and they still do not the electrical functional, they have not replaced the carpet, or fixed the drywall. Do you think this is a breeding ground for black mold? I THINK SO!! Maintenance mentioned to us that they are 2.5 Years behind preventative maintenance when we told them we were having issues with our dryer. They stated that they have not cleaned the lines out in years! Do you think this a fire hazard, I THINK SO! Also when we moved in, the security gate to the units did not work for over a month. A neighbor had to call the police about somebody breaking into his apartment before the security gate was fixed. Once the gate was fixed no one in the entire complex knew what the code was, so in subzero temperatures in the middle of winter everyone was locked out of their apartments. We have a four year old and other tenants have kids and we were all locked out in -35 degree weather. Some tenants lost heat during the arctic burst and management only offered the 2 space heaters!! -35 degrees with kids with space heaters??? Who does this to any human being, especially those that line their pockets? This property is the owners cash cow, put no money into the property when issues arrive. They take the cheapest route possible! Please do not move in here! You will regret it!!
STAY AWAY! The maintainence and office staff are horrible people who lie and steal from you. This place is so unprofessional. There is ZERO PARKING so good luck if you have a car. And all the neighbors are drug addicts who dive through the dumpsters digging for trash. Don’t let the name “Andover” fool you, just go elsewhere
The office is extremely rude. They do not reply to emails. They entered my apartment illegally to leave a mailbox key and did not even let me know. I have a 3lb dog and I dont want strangers in who could let her out or step on her. Then i contacted corporate and finally got a call from Esther and she didn't hang up the phone and I could hear her and another associate complaining and making fun of me. So unprofessional. My car was broken into about 2 weeks ago I let management know and once again got no response. Pool was open a whopping 3 weeks this summer and no credits were given to residents for loss of amenities. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere!
Moved in here in May. They began renovations to update kitchens and bathrooms in June. Our apartment was one of the first ones completed--with sloppy, careless work that took nearly a month of me pestering management to get corrected. The foreman of the project seemed largely incompetent. The renovation crew has been loud and slovenly. The removed appliances sat on the property for nearly 4 months. Along with all the shipping containers it gave the impression of returning home to the local dump on a daily basis. The local management team still seems to lack the ability to give even the slightest of apologies for their shortcomings. For instance, this past Saturday I went into the leasing office to pick up a package I'd been notified had arrived and put in a work order for the replacement of blinds identified as broken on my initial walkthrough back in May. I was told there was no package for me, only my girlfriend who lives with me, and that maintenance would be out Monday. No one came Monday. Today (Tuesday) I received notice that I still have a package waiting--the same one I went to pick up Saturday. I also found out that the work order was never put in. I received no apology and no offer to rectify the error quickly. I had to ask for a timeline and was told by the end of Thursday after I pressed bc being told maintenance is busy with another task was told unsatisfactory. I also asked that they please ask the person I spoke with Saturday whom I'd never seen before to be more attentive. Again, no apology. I was told that this person was just visiting and doesn't work at this facility. Clearly, they were a TGM employee who just doesn't care. Seems like it's a plague with this company. Our apartment itself is great. The location is great. The staff and company should contemplate their approach to customer service.
When this place was Addison at andover it was a fantastic place to live. The new owners are horrendous. I've been renting for 20 years now and I've never been so dissatisfied. The ownership gives us no privacy and essentially disregards everything from our original lease. Can't wait to get out of here! Do not rent here, it's not worth one penny of your hard earned money.
The old owners of these apartments were nice. But from the moment TGM took over, everything has gone downhill. All they are interested is in taking out as much money as possible from the tenants. Lauren who is the director will be really nice when you meet her first time and when you want to move in. But once you have moved in, she will become really nasty and will insult you every time you go to her. She got no interpersonal skills and will behave like a goon. They will try to juice you every single penny till you stay here. The review below is spot on. Avoid this place at all costs till you don't have any other option!!!
This complex is now owned by TGM Andover Park. They no longer answer the main leasing office's phone with questions from tenants. They removed the security gates because they broke-- with "no intention to replace" them--and told us we would be fined if we didn't return the fobs that used to open them the gates. This is a thing you want in the Lawrence area. They have left a "sorry for inconveniencing you" note on our door EVERY WEEK for one thing or another-- they chopped down a lot of the trees that surrounded the buildings that made them look nice. They enter our apartment for unnecessary repairs with less than 24 hours notice. They have charged us twice what we were paying for water/sewer in un-itemized bills left on our doors with angry reminders to PAY IN 24 HOURS when their leasing office is never open during business hours and they never answer their phone. How are we supposed to do that? The lease was supposed to come with use of the pool, fitness center etc. but that card we were given to swipe in no longer works and they don't know how to get us a new one. Honestly, TGM is a terrible management company. Look up the reviews of their other apartments.
My husband I absolutely love this complex. Finding a place that we want to live that's affordable and allows dogs is not an easy task. But Addison has everything we want and more. Such a beautiful complex with an amazing office staff and maintenance crew.
Pros It's a fully featured apartment including all appliances like Microwave, Dishwasher, Refrigerator, Range/Oven, in unit Washer/Dryer. Maintenance is very good. Gated Community It has a pool Cons Rent is rather high in comparison to the area. The address comes under Lawrence and not Andover which can increase your car insurance considerably. The gym is minimal
