Property Ratings at The Abbey At Dominion Crossing
Cars are regularly vandalized, the pool is always closed for “ maintenance” been waiting three weeks for damage to the crappy laminate floor to be repaired. Staff non responsive or downright rude if you dare bring up an issue. Run, don’t walk away!!
This place doesn’t even deserve 1 star, but I had to do it to write this review. This is the most horrid apartment complex. Extremely dirty all the time. Management & staff don’t care about you at all. Once they have you in a lease customer service is our the window. They don’t return calls or emails so don’t bother. Maintenance manger is a waste of space and snoops through your apt mask-less during COVID (have video), but when you fill out a work order they ask you a health questionnaire because they are only concerned about themselves getting it and not you. Rent is WAY to high for what you’re getting. The neighbors smoke pot and it gets into your Apt and makes you sick and management doesn’t care at all. It’s like the slums on a good side of town. STAY AWAY!!!
Don’t you hate it when you move in and your treated like royalty and by the 3rd month they forgot your name. Well 4 years later I still feel like I matter and I love living here. Like all places there can be problems but usually it’s a problem renter not with the property or the management and fortunately they don’t last long and t move out. This is a place for mature professionals so if your looking for the wild pool side party place this is not your place. If you are kind and think about your neighbors as much as your self you will be happy here. It’s rare you hear blasting music and other such typical annoying apartment issues. Mostly adults which helps in keeping it more quite or a lot of good parents keeping younger kids under control as behaving well because they are not all over the place taking over if you have ever experienced that. You may find some negative reviews, but me and those around me, below me and I have met at the mail box are all happy campers here at the Abbey, the longer you live here the more it feels like a family even if it’s just a warm hello to a familiar face you see on the elevator. It’s nice. If your not that kind of person, please don’t move here. You could really tell the management here cares during the recent freeze and all the problems that came with it was just another example of how they learned 5 stars in effort and action to get problems fixed as they arose daily. It was really nice to see how much extra effort was made to help us get through no water and electricity times and of course the days following fixing the damages some units experienced. By the way, I’m really picky and a bit of a snob about stuff. So if I’m happy here you could be too.
I moved into the Abbey a year and a half ago.. It was the best experience. The property is gorgeous and the staff truly cared about the residents. Recently I have had interaction with the staff as my lease was coming to an end and some minimal maintenance request. Selena the former Property Manager mirrored what a Luxury Property manager should be and made sure everything was always up to standard.. BUT she has left and the new Property Manager Amanda is quick to get defensive and be disrespectful. She has no desire to keep residents happy. I will be moving to another property in the Dominion soon. I really hope the Abbey gets it together soon or they will need more then a cruise and free rent to get new residents.
We love living at the abbey at Dominion Crossing. The management staff are great and easy to work with. I always feel safe here at the Abbey! Kudos to Celina and Amanda!
Lived here 6 months. There has been at least 9 cars vandalized on 6 different occasions. No real actions taken by management. I was told “not our responsibility”, which is understandable up to the extent of it being a repetitive issue. That is your responsibility. Gate is constantly broken for guests, however random people can come in, bash windows, and steal tires. Go figure. Would NOT recommend living here unless you want your vehicle vandalized.
The staff here is fantastic. They do the very best that they can with the very little bit of authority that they're given. Outside of the cheap construction, there are some serious security issues here. Vehicles are constantly stolen and broken into. A truck even had the tires/wheels stolen and it was left sitting on the axles. Management does not seem to have the authority to do much about this, and the owners seem to not care much as this issue is ongoing with zero resolution. For the amount of rent charged, this should be handled quickly. Look elsewhere and save yourself the vandalism headache. The parking garage offers no more security than a downtown back alley.
Loved it here, until i was assaulted today by another tenant when entering an elevator, minding my own business after checking the mail... had a witness, off duty officer never arrived when i called, had to call 911 and i no longer feel safe here the resident has made threats against me in the future as well, even though i dont even know who they are personally. Lots of break ins on cars too, the staff is nice, but apparently living with people who are trash, leaving immediately.
I love my new home! Abbey has been great throughout my entire moving process! My apartment is brand new and I couldn’t be happier!
I would recommend anyone to look elsewhere for an apartment. There are too many issues for a relatively new complex (open of a little over a year)to be going through. Not sure where the luxury part comes in. The warm and friendly smiles work until you sign the lease. Be cautious and know what you are getting before you sign the lease.
Great pool, staff and work out facility! My parents live here and I love coming home from college to enjoy my breaks in peace with a nice view of the Hill Country from my window. I can go right down the frontage road to shop or eat at the Rim or La Cantera with ease!
The office staff is amazing! Professional and willing to go out of the way to accommodate your needs from the 1st visit hello to the welcome to your new home with continuing the unparalleled service on a daily basis to ensure living here a great experience. Let's not forget our maintenance staff that provide us outstanding and prompt service with consideration and care while working in our homes. Going the extra mile, taking the time to do it right and do it right away! By far this is the best team I have ever experienced, including living in a condo as a home owner. The amenities and "luxury" offerings that often fall by the way side soon after move in. Not the case here! The warm and friendly smiles still abound. The welcoming attitude you receive anytime you visit the office or need anything is always met with the same care as when we were potential renters. The pool is crisp and clean and if it's not, you never know because it's taken care of that fast! Really! Snacks and coffee ALWAYS and it's for us, with a smile, not just to impress the lookers! So it's safe to say you better seal your spot, because this is the best to the west and when it's full, good luck because no one will be wanting to check out of this hotel. Come feel the lux! Be sure to say you read all the great reviews from happy tenants because we forget to say it enough, we are too busy eating, relaxing and watching our free cable tv! Oh while surfing our free high speed internet. Yep, that right, I almost don't want to share, but it's my nature so if your warm and friendly too, please come be my neighbor! I give our property 5 stars ?????????? and 2 thumbs up ???????? Really!
