The location and square footage is good. The amenities are fairly decent too. What totally voids all the positives about The Abbey at Grand Road is the awful roach infestation. We have done everything from calling pest control to spending hundreds of dollars on pesticides. Nothing works permanently because the infestation is all over the complex, and this is a fairly large complex. I'm afraid to eat here. I can't cook because I'm paranoid that roaches will end up in my meals. This is no way to live. The property manager is great, but it seems as though there is only so much she can do. If you are reading this because you're considering moving here, run, do not walk to another option. I am not far behind you. I am a professional like many other who call this place home. We work hard and just want somewhere comfortable to come home to at this end of the day. This is not fair!

The managers and staff that oversee this property really take the residents and business into consideration in regards to how they deliver customer service. Since I've been a resident they have constantly gone the extra mile in making sure that my residency is a great experience. I was a former resident to another Abbey owned property and this has been so far the best experience.
buena noche, hace una semana hice mi aplicacion por un apartamento de 2 habitaciones y nada que me daban respuesta fui dos veces y me dijeron que estaba en proceso cuando dicen que son 48 horas para la respuesta y de nuevo fui ayer y resukta que nisiquiera se les veia reflejado mi pago cuando hace una semana ya lo habian sacado y me dejaron sin el apartamento que yo habia escogido para mi familia y para mi me parece de muy mal gusto ya que uno tiene planes me lo entregaban este 18 de abril pero resulto ser una total falta de respeto y la respuesta es no podemos hacer nada !!!!

Two words ROACH INFESTED,when I moved in about 7 months I saw a few dead roaches not even a few days later I would come home too roaches I tried to bomb the apartment Nd it only made them come out more it’s now august and I’ve even had a roach crawl on me a few times hace multiple cans of roach spray , apartments are spacious but for what I’m paying there shouldn’t be a bug problem,not worth it glad when my lease expires in a few months

moved to two different units on the property and both were infested with roaches. staff shows complete lack of concern, instead of actually fixing problems sent over exterminator multiple times after being told they don't do anything productive

Everyone has always been so helpful. When I first moved here Latoya made me feel like I mattered. I been to many apartments complex and it was right to to the business. Latoya built repor with me and took her time to see what I wanted in my apartment. She made feel as if I mattered. I have been here almost a year and can honestly say I have never had an issue. When something needs fixed maintenance is on right away. This property is safe, clean and the customer service is amazing. I would recommend all my friends and family here. I been here almost a year and still feel like I matter.
I am a delivery person. I went to deliver to the office and as soon as I walked in one of the staff immediately snapped at me, before I even said one word to her, that I had to deliver door to door. I calmly responded that one resident requested that I leave their package in the office and requested a sute map for myself. She then told me the property was just a big circle and I didn't need one. I said I understood but for the sake of time so I didn't have to search for specific apartments within the same building, but instead drive straight to it, I would prefer to have a site map. She acted like that was the biggest inconvenience for her to give me a piece of paper. Then she snapped at her coworker to give me one. I had even considered moving to this complex at one point but after that, I refuse.
The leasing agents, Mark and Kayla, are amazing. Maintenance is in top of their work orders. Asst manager, Latoya, is very considerate. Manager, Tammy, loves dogs.

This is my 3rd year here. The new management has been less than desirable. The noise level is terrible. They took the carpet out of apartments on upper floors that they remodeled. This took out all sound dampening. The walls have always been thin. You can hear your neighbors living room TV when it is at normal listening levels. In your master bedroom. This once was a great place to live. They used to have security guards. Now we just have a few cameras. Since the new management, my work truck has been broken into twice in 6 months.
I have been at this complex for over a year now and I have loved every minute of it, especially now that it is under new management. I have never had a problem living here. Maintenance is always around, things get fixed when they need fixing, they've upgraded the property to offer more amenities and the office staff is always friendly, nice, and willing to help. This property is quiet and peaceful. The remodeled apartments are great. The wood floors throughout the living area is wonderful and pet friendly. The kitchen is something you would find in a home, not an apartment, and at least for me, the square footage is worth the price. If you want to live somewhere that feels more like a house than an apartment, the layout of this apartment is perfect. Huge kitchen, bedroom, and closet. And the neighborhood and the things around you . . . you couldn't ask for better. Great location, great property, and great people.
Spacious and comfortable apartments that make you feel right at home. This apartment complex is very quiet and has a luxurious pool and lounge are for those hot summer days. The staff is extremely nice and will take care of all maintenance needs in a timely manner. Fairly close to shopping malls and great restaurants, but not too close where you can hear traffic all day long. It is the perfect location for peaceful living. Only thing from keeping it from being 5 stars in my book is that there are no detached garages available. Other than that, this place is a home run.
