Directly across the Potomac River from Washington, D.C., Arlington is less a suburb than an extension of the nation’s capital. It’s the home of the Pentagon, Arlington National Cemetery, and Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport, with a number of waterfront parks offering beautiful views across the river to the National Mall.
The community provides a wide range of living options, from apartments, townhomes, and duplexes to condos and houses. A major reason for Arlington’s popularity is that there is so much to do. Washington may be packed with monuments, museums, and other sightseeing landmarks, but Arlington holds the advantage when it comes to the more day-to-day shopping, dining, entertainment, and nightlife.
You’ll have several options for getting around town or into D.C., whether you choose to drive, take the Metro, or ride your bike — Arlington has earned a silver rating from the League of American Bicyclists.

Property Ratings at The Acadia at Metropolitan Park
The staff has been outstanding in supporting our move-in, and we absolutely love the space & amenities! Also - what a fantastic location - central to everything!
This is my second lease at the Acadia and I won’t be renewing. I’ve had a LOT of problems with the property: hot water running out quickly, DRAIN FLIES, windows/bathroom showers not sealed properly, terrible wifi/cell reception, elevators CONSTANTLY out, garage gates not opening, convoluted package system… and recently there’s been issues with the trash chute (one on each floor), meaning sometimes I go in the trash chute room and see piles of trash and the chute clogged. The cleaning staff is very nice and does their best. The amenities are also nice and the apartments aren’t the cookie-cutter modern style in all of the other new buildings in the area which is refreshing. The location is absolutely the best part; I wouldn’t move into any of the other buildings in the Met Park area. Upper management isn’t responsive or very helpful (they just fired their best employee Layla for no reason). Considering the area, it’s a good building for a decent price, but has started going downhill.
Overall good. The building is a bit more dated than some of the others out there, but generally well maintained it seems. Conceirge is nice but appears to be understaffed. Frequently, there is nobody at the front desk for extended periods of time. EV Charging is available in the garage but the price is 50 cents per KWH. I am currently averaging 35 cents per KWH this month at Tesla Superchargers and have charged for under 20 cents per KWH at other super chargers. Home charging is typically around 15 cents per KWH. Having only one option with the price so high makes the price of fueling an EV about the same as a gas vehicle.
The building is well maintained and staff is so kind. I never want to leave. The one thing I do wish is that there was a resident portal board to communicate with others in the building
We had several problems, but they are eventually resolved the only thing that hasn't been solved is enforcing tenants to leash their dogs. I like the convenience of location to groceries and restaurants.
We picked the Acadia because it was the best apartment in Pentagon City. Its units offer the most square footage for the rent, the building has great amenities and is in an awesome location (close to so many stores/restaurants and the metro), and the view of DC from both our living room and the rooftop is amazing!
The leasing team is amazing, so helpful no matter how many times you reach out with questions, The move in process was a smooth one. I've been here for a week and it's been great! Everyone from the office staff to the maintenance crew to the neighbors, has been very nice, welcoming, and helpful. Great location!
We have been staying here for two weeks and the experience is good so far. The staff are very friendly and considerate. When they learned that we missed the reservation for the rooftop event on 7/4 because we were new to the apartment, they took the initiative to help us solve the problem, so that my 88-year-old father could sit on the balcony and enjoy the beautiful fireworks in DC. However, it seems that the maintenance staff is short-staffed, and some non-emergency projects are not repaired in a timely manner, but it does affect our daily life. For example, the balance sensor of the washing machine is not good, and it makes a very scary sound when used. For example, the door of the dishwasher is loose and sometimes opens for no reason. Although it can still be used, the experience is not so good. I hope that the above situation can be resolved as soon as possible so that we can enjoy the fun of life in our new home without worries.
The Acadia is a great place, awesome location, close to shopping, metro, dinning, and so much more. The Met Park has tons of events, right in front of the building.
This is the last week in Acadia. I am going to miss this lovely place and warm doorman, good good good place to livein , close to the metro and Costco and wholefoods!
No issues, people have been friendly thus far and I’m so glad that I’ve made the decision to move-in here. The gym, the parking, the location, the SAFETY, are all amazing here.
Overall the Acadia is a great place to live at and I absolutely love it here - the area is great, the residents are fantastic as well as the leasing, cleaning, and front desk staff, and most importantly it is a relatively safe area. The only downfall and downside to the building is the maintenance staff and the proximity to Amazon HQ (which leads to uptick in pricing) - this has resulted in half done maintenance repairs and lack of quality in some of the repairs themselves as they tend to be very hit or miss (temperamental and sometimes lacking logic?). Personally I sometimes end up doing things myself because I have experience doing random repairs around the house because I grew up doing them but otherwise I would be very frustrated. Sometimes I dread putting in work orders because it can be either a fast response or weeks before I hear back and even then, there’s no guarantee that it will actually fix the problem.
It’s been wonderful. Laila is a very nice person along with Joel. They helped us get situated and squared away in awfully timely manner. The building is clean and very cozy. Oh and being able to see the pentagon is pretty neat!
Acadia has clean common areas and Polite staff. My apartment is quite, rarely do I ever hear other residents. No foul smell of pot infact there is no smoking aloud which is nice.
New to Acadia, but really like it. Great environment. Green space out front, easy access to metro, stores, groceries, resturants and the office.
Great building with great staff. Every one is always so helpful. I've been living here full-time since 2019 and have never had any problems.
We love the Acadia. It is a great environment and location- plenty to walk to and the neighbors are quite friendly and respectful. Management is also helpful.
Excellent community! Great staff always available to support residents. Maintenance team is very diligent with broad experience. Gym is always clean
I love of living they have the best amenities and the most wonderful employees! Location is great but be careful because around Pentagon City Mall it has been experiencing some teen gang criminal activities. This area didn't have these problems or excessively increasing rent until Amazon came around.
It’s been 3 years since I moved here and really enjoyed the place. Locations are great and convenient, and the amenities are great as well. I will miss this place if I move out.
Love it! A few things that can be improved or updated like smart Home features, better communication when maintenance is scheduled, and germx stations inside all trash rooms.
The Acadia at Metropolitan Park just feels like home the moment you walk through the doors. This place is truly an oasis of serenity amidst the bustling city. It’s extremely clean, smells great, and has wonderful amenities. The exceptional concierge service helps make life easier and more delightful. You also can’t beat the view and the location.
Great building, very well maintained, friendly staff, nice amenities, terrific location. Only been here a few months... and loving the experience so far!
We love our community and the apartment building but lately after been here for a while the cleaning has been diminishing and the maintenance service too. We have several days with no a/c. We have to reset ourselves waiting for maintenance. Our front doors handicap access switch for all doors were damage even to access the parking for several weeks. They manage to fix 2 but left the other one's at the parking level unfixed. Things have change a lot in only a few months rent increased but the cleaning and maintenance of the building extremely declined. Everything is so dirty, floors, elevators, even the lobby right now has (again) a bucket and plastic paper picking up water from broken pipes that were supposed to be fixed last year.
Love the location and the convenience. Free coffee is great but wish it could be provided on weekends as well. Overall it’s pretty good. Will recommend
Apartment is clean and neighborhood is homey. Neighbors are not loud and animals are allowed so this is a place I would recommend to others.
I am totally satisfied with Acadia and happy to be here. I can enjoy all the nearest areas without transportation difficulties. Thank you all resident and workers in Acadia!
The apartment complex offers impressive facilities that enhance the living experience, and its ideal location adds tremendous value for residents. However, there's a noticeable need for improvement in the cleanliness of the premises. Overall, it's a promising space with the potential for an even better living environment if the cleaning standards were elevated.
good location with accessibilty for many groceries. perfect staffs, quick response for asking. always clean area. after the park is completed, the value got higher.
We just moved in but the leasing process was an absolute breeze. Everything was explained so well and I didn’t have to sit around and wait for answers or documentation. It was a very smooth process which makes moving so much nicer and less stressful.
5 stars, building, amenities, rent, location, leasing office, community, convenience, everything excellent. The area where the building is located is a very pleasant and walkable area, there are many cafes, restaurants, shops and metro stations that can be reached on foot.
Always satisfied with Acadia?? Clean and accurate management, convenient location, and friendly neighbor! I am so happy to share this review

The building is well-maintained. The staff is super attentive & friendly. Love that it's easy to walk to a bunch of places nearby. Super happy with my experience so far
So far so good, the apartment building and common areas are clean and the staff is responsive. No complaints whatsoever. KB was a great help
Many residents on the building are concerned about the conditions of the facilities. When we got here, this looked like a hotel, now, most of the time everything is dirty and when you ask for things to be done, tales a lot of time to get done. And sometimes it doesn’t get fixed. Dealing with management is a pain. I wouldn’t recommend.

What a great place to live! LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION!! The amenities, Metropolitan Park, no downsides to the Acadia, we love it here. The roof top pool, the Penthouse, the views!!
live here feel comfortable and be safe. It is very close to the Costco and Metro station. I love the park near our building where we can walk after dinner.
It's a very nice place, also its location. The staff is very nice. Lately, we feel cleaning has not been the same, and the facilities are not as cared for as at the beginning. We are waiting for management to do something about it.
The Acadia is a high-class apartment building with good amenities and good community engagement; management is also effective and helpful when needed
Excelente comunidad, buen vecindario, edificio y apartamentos modernos y limpios, excelentes comodidades. cerca del metro, justo enfrente del costco, cafes y restaurantes cerca.
The place is great. I’m really happy with my apartment and everything else. The one thing I would like improvement on, is the priority with which the downstairs a/c issue has been worked.
The staff are so friendly and willing to help you with any questions that you have. Also the dog park is with in walking distance and super clean!
The Acadia community spaces are not only clean, but the apartments are bright and so spacious. My partner and I love the area and there are so many new developments happening around us with the new Amazon buildings.
So far so good. The staff and building are really nice. Perhaps the only complaint is the appliances in the apartments feel small and do not work as well as you would expect for a fairly newer building like this.
Love the apartment complex, great location and amenities! Only issue we've had is that the maintenance team is a little bit slow when it comes to completing service requests.
Great staff, front desk is super friendly and helpful. the area is amazing. Love being so close to metro and a grocery store. Apartments are well laid out and quite.
I’ve been living here since 2021 and everything has been perfect. I like the gym, pool and the roof top. People are super nice as well. I would recommend this place to my friends
We love our property manager and staff. They are all friendly and accommodating. Also now that Metropolitan park is open along with shops opening up… it’s the place to live.
