Located in the Oak Cliff area of Dallas, Lake Cliff is one of the city’s oldest neighborhoods. Oak Cliff’s rich history dates to the early 1900s, which is still evident in the eclectic historical architecture found throughout the region. During the early 1900s, the neighborhood was a cultural hub and home to the state’s largest amusement park, housing dance pavilions, theaters, carnivals, a pool, and a bathhouse. Lake Cliff has undergone a revival in recent years and continues to grow. Today, Lake Cliff attracts renters from all walks of life offering highly affordable to upscale houses and apartments available for rent. Great for nature lovers, the neighborhood's namesake natural area, Lake Cliff Park, is a small urban oasis with a freshwater lake, rose garden, and more. Lake Cliff also has several daycare centers, schools, restaurants, and light industry businesses.

Property Ratings at The Addison
Upon moving in the apartment was not cleaned or ready for move in as I was told. Roaches everywhere. Men drinking in the middle of the parking lot almost daily and staring fight. Overran by homeless and squatters. Will be quick to send you to eviction if late but not do anything about the homeless or squatters. Favoritism to some and others ignored. Air conditioner poor and can’t be controlled. I was told I was going to receive a window unit but never did. Ended up having to buy my own. Would not recommend staying here. Everyone that leases here is ready to leave before their lease is even up.
Use to be a decent place to live but now gates stay broke weekly. Parking lot not safe due to residents driving in the wrong directions daily. People drinking in the middle of the parking lot until 4am. Outsiders sleeping in laundry room and risking property. Trash always in the courtyard. Loud music in the middle of the night. Residents always double parking in a place that rarely has parking as it is. Some residents have 3 or more cars parked inside. Mail box always broke. Roaches everywhere. Kids writing chalk on resident doors and door steps. The list goes on...
Location great, great bus & streetcar access. Pit stop for better. Amenities are a minimum.Frequent mail theft. your vehicles as safe as on street side. Great PIT stop.

the place has improved since new manager tasha. we have new grass incourtyard now and she walks the property everyday to make sure neighbors doors are clean. she send us text keeping us updated all the time about things. pretty cool.
Everyone here is friendly and welcoming. The manager, Tasha, is hard working and committed to her job. She does what she says. Dart services are right out the door. A beautiful park and pond are right in the back of property.
The apartments all seem to be redone recently and everything is gated / secure in the parking lot. The park surrounding is nice as well as the lake across the street. Very close to Bishop Arts and since I work at Methodist also great to be so close to work. I have ridden the light rail downtown and to Bishop Arts which has a stop 1 minute away walking. Great place for the price - and the views are incredible.
