Property Ratings at The Alaire Twinbrook Station
Sean and Jackie were super helpful during our visit. They gave a good description of all of the apartment and building qualities and we were able to see all important parts of the building.

It was great living in alair, very accessible and easy to roam around. I enjoyed walking and biking around the area. The only problem is the noise in the apartment. You can hear any noise from side, down and up.

I love living at the Alaire I love the convenience of all the stores on Rockville pike and I’m right by the Twinbrook station on the Red Line

Thank you for the wonderful review! We appreciate the feedback.
Living quality continues to decline at the Alaire. Location is great and it’s a nice apartment but they really need to do something about the smell from building 1100 garage. The doorway from garage to apartment smells like HEAVY weed and puke. It’s like dc metro smell. For the rent amount, it’s ridiculous that they are letting this go on for more than a year. They don’t really do anything besides sending out an email saying the apartment is supposed to be smoke free. Well how about installing security cameras or something because someone’s consistantly smoking in the stairway? Building management level is just way beyond the expectations.

Front desk staff was unprofessional and unpleasant. They have trouble keeping track of resident records and information, and then blame the resident when brought up to management.

Living at the alaire has been great, at first there were some issues when the change of management happened with things such as packages being left out without anyone to receive them, but now I think that they went back to being great. Never had an issue with pests at all, clean apartments, beautiful, and maintainance comes fast when you need help

I’ve been living at the alaire for over 6 years and it’s been nice I enjoy being close to everything such as the train station and many stores

Hello, Thank you for leaving us a wonderful review!
Not regularly cleaned. Horrible management and far from luxurious
I have several friends that live at the Alaire, and am considering moving in myself. The property is well kept, and the staff is so friendly. I believe his name is Jordan - at the front desk, is so welcoming and kind. Unlike building that I currently live in, the desk person never even says hi. The pool is always clean too - which is a bonus! I have visited many apartments in the area. And this is definitely the “spot.” Hope to be moving in soon!
We’ve been living in the Alaire for about 6 years now. The metro is literally 3 min away walking distance and there are so many things to do around. We love our apartment building and we have the most gracious and kindest head concierge - Jordan. He is always smiling and very helpful whenever we need anything. He’s definitely our go-to person whenever we have questions.
my family and I have lived here 5+ years. the staff here is outstanding and really sets the community apart from our neighboring buildings. Jordan, the front desk supervisor provides excellent customer service and does a great job w community events and making my family welcome. great job!
We’ve been living here w my family for about 3 years. The staff is so friendly and the maintenance department stays on top of the repairs. Jordan at the front desk makes this community my favorite place for all the events he provides for the residents. My family and I love lt here.
Amazing, near twinbrook station, stores and restaurants. Staff is great but I want say that Jordan Monroe stands out, always in a good mood, laughing, supportive and attentive with good attitudes. Grounds are always clean and pretty. All of my maintenance requests have been done amazingly with instructions for us to follow left for us. Staff notifies us anytime there is anything happening of for changes. Love it here!
Having lived here for several years I can confidently say that this apartment is worth it! Very convenient being so close to Twinbrook metro and the price is very reasonable for this area. It is also refreshing having such nice and competent staff, particularly Jordan at the front desk. He is one of the friendliest people and always willing to help out, no matter what the request. You can tell he truly values his work and cares about the residents. Maintenance is also very quick to respond to requests and always helpful.
I have lived at The Alaire for just over four years. Great location and easy to walk to lots of places. The on site staff is amazing, particularly Jordan M. at the front desk. You can tell how much he cares about his job and the residents.
The best thing about living at the Alaire is the service and the staff, in particular, Jordan who always anticipates issues in advance and is looking out for our interests. I can't recall the number of times he has helped us way out of what is expected. The location and facility are really nice, the staff really awsome, we are still here after 4 years and plan to stay for longer.
Nice place to live. Staff is very courteous, helpful, and responsive. Jordan M at the front desk goes out of his way to accommodate everyone with his cheerful and friendly attitude. You rock, Jordan!! :)
My boyfriend and I have lived here for the past 7 years. The fact that we have stayed that long should tell you something! Hands-down the convenience of being so close to the metro (Twinbrook station) is one of my favorite parts of living here. Keep in mind that it can be a little noisy being so close to a metro station but honestly it's not that bad at all. The amenities are great. The pool, gym, outside area with grills and resident lounge are nice and everything was recently remodeled (within the past 2 years or so). My only complaint would be that the grills don't always work, but concierge staff is always willing to help. Speaking of staff, the concierge and maintenance staff are always helpful and friendly, particularly Jordan M. I feel like he really strives to make this apartment a nice community and is always so welcoming! He's also quick to help with any problems or requests. Maintenance has also always been quick to respond to requests. There are events that are put on throughout the year (food trucks outside, ice cream social for kids, holiday parties, or just a random resident get togethers with food and drinks). I really appreciate the effort that is put into those!
The Alaire is very clean, modern, well maintained, and affordable. All of the staff have been responsive and helpful throughout the move-in process. In particular, Jordan (the daily concierge) goes out of his way to welcome new residents, provide helpful advice, and make the apartment experience as seamless and enjoyable as possible. He is very friendly and personable, and overall a great first contact for anyone visiting or moving in
This apartment complex is located right behind the Twinbrook Metro and a short walk to the shops and restaurants on Rockville Pike. It's a great location. The units are big and airy and rent is very reasonable. The common areas are clean and while the pandemic has limited the use of some of these - they are terrific. The staff is wonderful. Particularly Jordan M, the head concierge, who often goes above and beyond to help out the residents. He is a true asset to this apartment building and whenever I think about moving - I seriously consider if the new building would have someone like Jordan there to help me and answer all my questions - no matter how mundane.
The apartments here are spacious, and for the special deal it was basically a steal that is why my review is higher than if I paid full price for an apartment here. Just fyi, not a knock since we knew going in that we would be facing the garage, but there is a chance the only apartment you can lease will face the garage. However, the issues I have been having with this apartment complex is the management never seems ahead of the game. They promise things that never show, or when they do it is after weeks of reminding them that a certain credit should be added to the account. We will randomly get phantom charges on our account which we already paid, and that would be fine if we could clear it up quickly. However, when we call it is either they are busy and have to call us back or they don't know the reason or they blame it on the management company at large for doing normal business (like a merger). They have one leasing office managing two apartment complexes which I think adds to the confusion and they seem they just can't quite get a handle on it. If you are like me and think the best leasing office/apartment management is one you don't have to deal with then maybe you should be swayed against staying here. But if you get a good price and don't mind dealing with a lot of small frustrations then by all means go for it!
The Alaire is a great place to live offering excellent amenities at a great value for it's location which is very close to the metro station. The staff are great and the property hosts holiday and summertime parties every year with free food and drinks. The pool and the indoor/outdoor lounge areas are very nice and well kept. The maintenance staff are also excellent, they will fix anything (even replacing light bulbs and smoke detector batteries) and usually respond within 24 hours. We have made many friends here and are very happy with our apartment.
