Wow! We cannot be happier to see that you have absolutely loved your time here and have been met with such great service from our staff. As always, we are here for you if you were to need anything going forward.
I have lived at this property for almost 2 years and overall my experience has been good. I moved in as a college student and this is a great location if looking to commute to UNCG. The surrounding area is nice and close to a lot of stores and shopping centers. I have a lot of friends over and only got one noise complaint my entire stay. The neighborhood is also safe and kid friendly. Everyone here kind of does their own thing so no nosey neighbors. As far as inside of the apartment, you can tell the quality of some of the appliances are cheaper and used.
1 First - this is Kelly. Unfortunately I am not getting $15 of credit knocked off my rent for a review. Rental Beware: Moving in and living there is fine (despite the fact that prices increase by 55$ every year) depending upon which unit you are in. However, they do not require security deposits and refuse to do an initial and final walk through. These carpets are atrocious and I have had Hernandez Carpet Cleaning (whom they use exclusively) tell me that these carpets are cheap. (This was written on a paper for me by one of their own workers that they used when they cleaned for me before). Ironically I have had issues with the owner of these apartments before because of this. Speed to today, 35 days after move out I get billed for $817 for a carpet replacement. We are non smokers and do not wear our shoes in the house. The fact that they refuse to do a final walk through was the biggest red flag ever. Surprised? No. Disappointed? Yes. Disclaimer: I am not some trashy tenant. I am a NC certified teacher, a college professor, and pregnant. Use common sense.
These apartments are beautiful on the outside. My issue is how expensive they are. I've had many neighbors that have moved out after their lease is over once they realize how much the rent goes up. The inside of my apartment hasn't been renovated since the apartments were built. The appliances, fixtures, & carpet are way past their time to be replaced. My freezer stops cooling on a regular basis, after them coming in to "fix" it several times during my 1st year I gave up. I feel lifted boards when I walk on my carpet. At this point, I wish I would have paid for movers instead of signing a new lease because of the headache of moving from an upstairs apartment. Extremely ready to leave.
I enjoy living here. It's perfect for young professionals. Spacious and clean apartments, great amenities and fun monthly resident activities. The offer a dog park, car care center, gym, business center, pool and storage units if needed. There are a lot of great dogs in the complex and friendly neighbors too!
Located conveniently in Greensboro; just 10 minutes from I-40. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Our maintenance men are always hard at work and at your service for any repairs. Very spacious 1 bedroom/1bathroom. Bathroom and closet are ginormous. Laundry is located inside closet area making it very convenient compared to other places with laundry in the dining/kitchen area. If upstairs, you share your "patio" with only one other neighbor across from you. Kitchen is updated with appliances and nice double sink. Dining, sun room, and living area is open, making the rooms look as one; and a very large one at that. You have an option to paint one wall a color to fit your lifestyle which is so nice of them to do considering how many units there are. Windows do come with your typical blinds. For a first time renter, this set the standard for all the others I've looked at.
I've been here for a little over a month and I love it! As a college student here, I was relieved to know that we were so welcomed here! It is actually a really quite neighborhood so it helps with studying. I really like the area because it is close to everything including shopping and grocery stores. The neighborhood isn't really well lit in some areas which is the only downfall. It is gated and the gate closes at 6 which makes it really safe. I like the office staff a lot, whatever issue that I have they resolve it right away. They change the codes to the clubhouse every month and only current residents get the new code which also contributes to safety. The staff also sends out monthly newsletters which has riddles on them and whoever answers correctly first gets $10 off their rent which is really cool. I'm glad I decided to stay here because it's great!
My experience at Amesbury has been bitter sweet. I love the complex itself. I only have a concern with the parking. I always have to park extremely far from where I stay due to my work schedule. It's a really safe community with friendly neighbors. I also enjoy the community events.
My complex is appropriate for all. We have beautiful people residing here. There are plenty of college students here that makes for some noise, but overall it's a nice place to live. It's close to public transportation and really cool restaurants. I love the staff, they are very sweet and helpful to all situations.
I have lived @ The Amesbury for over four years. I have never had an issue with the apartment or amenities. The community and the staff are very nice - you won't find much better. However, after four leases my rent is getting close to $800 (with water and cable). For a one bedroom with just under 700 sq feet I find that to be a little much.
This is an apartment that I feel safe living at. It has a nice gym and pool, however, the pool is a bit small for the amount of people living here. The clubhouse does a lot of contests and events with free food and drinks.
