Scofield Farms is a peaceful suburban community located about 12 miles northeast of Downtown Austin and about 11 miles north of the University of Texas at Austin. This neighborhood is nicely contained with cozy residential streets, a large shopping area, and the Scofield Farms Neighborhood Park extending through the center of the neighborhood. The park is separated from the Wells Creek Greenbelt by Metric Boulevard, providing ample hiking trails for residents to enjoy.
Parmer Lane is lined with a variety of shops and restaurants, and additional shopping and dining options are available along I-35, directly east of Scofield Farms. Residents are close to the Walnut Creek Metropolitan Park, a large park with a leash-free hiking trail, picnic areas, a municipal pool, and a BMX track. It is one of the best laid-out apartments I have had, the new Kitchen appliances are nice and one of the things that make living here a step above! This apartment does not resolve any issues. The lack of response is sad. Multiple contacts over a 6 month period for the same issue and never a reply. The management cares more about events than the real problems. Often there are homeless in and around the property. Trash everywhere including mattresses and couches from prior residents. Apartment was dirty from prior resident when we moved in. No apology or care to get it cleaned. Maintenance request are not taken seriously. Loud and obnoxious tenants who rev their cars late at night. Gym is dirty and not cleaned. I could go on! I would not recommend this place.

After looking at seven different places over the weekend, I finally found my dream apartment! The Amethyst is a nice quiet complex with newly renovated apartments and plenty of amenities. Isabelle in the front office gave me my tour at was so friendly! I love that the application process was easy and so was move in. Been here for 4 months and love it! Highly recommend.

Im helping my grandmother downsize her home and so last week we decided to check out a few places, ameethyst being one of them. We were a little early for our tour and the woman Isabel was busy with some other folks in lobby but still greeted us. she made my grandmother and I comfortable by bringing us waters while we waited, which was greatly appreciated in this Texas heat!!!! The grounds are quite nice and the apartments are very spacious even the one bedrooms. Isabel was professional and very knowledgeable while walked us back to the office and there were already more people (seems like she was working alone at the time) but she sent us off with some more helpful info and contacts on our way out. Definitely somewhere my grandmother is excited to move!

I have lived here for almost a year now, and absolutely love my apartment. The whole move-in process was so easy thanks to the assistant manager Isabelle. She answered all my questions and made sure everything on my move in date was as easy as possible. Anytime I need something done she is extremely attentive and polite, most importantly she gets the job done. The location is great and I love that it is in a quiet area. My apartment has updated appliances which I am obsessed with. I have recommended this apartment to all my friends.

LITERALLY LIVE ANY PLACE BUT HERE: This has literally been the worst place that I have ever lived. Moving in was nice and easy but after that everything went downhill. The bathrooms were not cleaned and we literally begged them to caulk the master bathroom and no one ever came. When they were purchased by the current company they tried to charge us for insurance (even though we’re clearly provided proof before moving in) and they tried to charge us for water during a time that we literally didn’t even live in Austin at all. I’ve had numerous instances with them failing to keep my phone number on file even though so have it to them several times. There had been a bug problem and they literally will jot come to do anything about it. During the snowstorm the fire sprinkler fell out of my roommates ceiling when I called no one knew anything about it and asked if the ceiling caved in. We literally went without water from February 15 until the end of march and then they proceeded to charge us for water during the time period even though we didn’t have any. They weren’t providing accurate updates which led to me consistently calling to find out when I could safely move into my apartment. During that time, whatever teams they came in to solve this mess left our balcony door WIDE OPEN. We called and emailed to complain and no one ever responds to you. I’ve called to get an updated parking sticker for my car and literally no one ever responded back to me. Why are you working here if you’re not going to take the time to address my concerns??? Not to mention they took away our gate code which makes it literally impossible to get anything delivered here. This place has just turned into a hell hole.

This is undoubtedly the worst I have ever stayed in last 7 years. The Manage is very unprofessional and never care for any maintenance issue. They only care for your money !! I have several maintenance open tickets open for more than 2 months and whenever I followed up in person, Management carelessly say they have no ETA for fixing the issues..also they start explaining how difficult to hire a maintenance guy and they have only 2 guys and they are working 100+ hours weekly to serve us !!!!.. They suddenly send an email (5.50 PM) to me that they are not finding my Renters insurance and mentioned to share the renters copy by 6 PM same day !!!!! I am living in this apartment for last 18 months and looks like they are sleeping all these days and all of a sudden found my renters insurance is missing and shoot me an email with a stringent deadline for 10 mins !! I have no issues sharing the Renters insurance documents with them one more time but the way they gave 10 mins time for that is very unprofessional and objectionable..
I have recently moved into Madison at SF & I will start by saying that the actual apartments are great in terms of amenities, style, professional staff, size, pricing & so-on. However, I am giving the apartments an overall score of 2/5 simply because of parking. Although that seems pretty harsh, parking is something you have to deal with every time you leave and come home - so one would naturally expect that it's good. To be more specific, the resident to parking-spot ratio is so awful that you won't even find an empty spot outside the leasing office at night. Also, the majority of the parking spots are reserved spots - so unless you're lucky or you pay for a reserved spot, you will have to rely on overflow parking at night. At first glance, I didn't think I'd mind this, since rent is very affordable & I get off of work late at night - but the overflow parking spots are way too small. Essentially, most of the time that you spend searching for a parking spot at night, you won't just be looking for a spot; you'll be searching for a spot that you can feasibly fit your car into - and even then, you will never be able to open your car door fully. Basically, if you work until the evening & want to move into these apartments, prepare to either pay for a garage/reserved-parking, or spend the first 15m after your drive home searching for a parking spot that you can fit your car into without damaging it & the car next to it... I loved the appeal of these apartments based on virtually every other feature, especially pricing - but the parking is a deal-breaker for me. I'm not even a week into being a resident here & I can already tell that I am going to deal with parking issues every night - because I get off of work at 11. And it's absurd to think I should have to pay for a garage or reserved-spot simply because it's difficult to fit my vehicle into the overflow parking spots... I will not be renewing my lease at the end of the year & I suggest nobody that will be coming home late sign one to begin with.
