It may be small, but North East is overflowing with beauty, history, and culture. Settled in 1658, this quaint coastal town retains much of its colonial charm, from its cozy and historic downtown to its tree-filled neighborhoods with narrow streets. Located at the top of the Chesapeake Bay on the North East River, this is quintessential New England -- from the boats dotting the waterways to the spectacular fall colors.
You'll discover history in some surprising places in North East. The Upper Bay Museum features hunting and fishing memorabilia, while Saint Mary Anne's Episcopal Church, the oldest in Maryland, contains graves of the Susquehannock, dating back to the 1600s. Gilpin's Falls Covered Bridge, built in 1859, is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The Turkey Point Lighthouse, built in 1833, has the most female light-keepers of any other lighthouse -- nearly half of the light-keepers over the 115 years it was maintained were women.

Property Ratings at Apartments at Charlestown Crossing
The apartments are tiny and offer nothing special. Old appliances and the lowest quality of everything. The management charged us astronomical moveout fees for bogus things like cleaning appliances which should be a normal expense to them when new tenants move in and removing a trash can of trash that is normally picked up weekly anyway. They did a move out inspection and sent a report and then proceeded to charge us a ton of other charges that were not on the move out report. I would NOT recommend this apartment complex. Please do your research. This place is terrible.

This was a great first home away from home for my fiance and I. The apartment was clean and issue free when we moved in, and any maintenance issues were resolved quickly. The office staff were friendly and helpful, especially Lance who we worked with more than anyone. The community and amenities were great. We put a lot of effort into cleaning when we moved out, and were quickly rewarded with our full deposit (less a pet fee). We absolutely loved the surrounding towns and restaurants. My only real complaint has nothing to do with management; many residents smoked and did so right outside our door in the shared hallway space. The price was a little high for the area and rising, but we worked in the surrounding cities and were able and willing to pay being that is was a nice community. Overall, we recommend The Apartments at Charlestown Crossing.
I can’t express how much I like this place. Staff is wonderful and polite. The apartments are beautiful, there were 1 or 2 things messed up when we moved in, but they wasted no time fixing it for us. The app makes it extremely convenient to put in a maintenance request, they showed up the next day and took less then a few minutes. I’ve moved around a lot but could see me staying here for a long time.
We have been residents at The Apartments at Charlestown crossing since April of 2014. Our experience here has been very good, as we have been treated fairly and respectfully by all office staff. The office staff has always been courteous and professional when it comes to any issues that have arisen during our time here. Communication is a powerful tool in making your stay here as stress free as possible. Maintenance goes above and beyond in response time to all issues. It is disappointing to see these men have to pick up after irresponsible dog owners. Aside from this type of waste (and wasted time)grounds are very well kept. They are out every morning cleaning the parking lots and any trash. M y only complaint is that a size limit (weight) should be placed on dogs and some breeds should be added to their restricted breed list.
For the price it is hard to beat. Brand new and well made. Staff are easy to get a hold of and they even have Valet trash disposal for free!
Very nice clean spacious quiet relaxing place to be. Not to far from great restaurants, store nice community around the water. The apartment is just what we needed my sister and I with a lot of convenience and easy to make at home. Only move in 2 months ago and feel like home, with pool and a gym well maintain. You should check it out it is like 4 different floor plan to please any family size and it is pet friendly...
