Property Ratings at The Ariel
Do Not Move Here! The staff who are employed here have been and still are terrible. They are impossible to get a hold of and take forever addressing issues, and that's if they even contact you back to begin with. I've lived here since Oct. 2023 and from the very start it has been an absolute nightmare. I signed a lease for a nonrenovated apartment. The day of the move I contacted them to make sure everything was ready because we were moving up from Georgia. We were told they had no apartment at all ready to move into until 3 days later! We lived out of a uhaul for 3 days and signed another 12 month lease for another apartment there only to find out the day of our move that one wasn't ready either. The only apartment they had was a renovated one which costed more. We had nowhere else to go and signed for this "renovated"unit. We never had an initial maintenance visit to come fix small things that were broken when we moved in. We have not had working heat or A/C since we've moved in. We've been told twice that we need a new A/C unit but have heard nothing back from the staff for months. Our kitchen ceiling is now leaking loads of water throughout the day and we can not get a hold of anyone even after putting in multiple emergency maintenance orders and calling their "emergency" phone line. We have tried to contact the office and still no luck in getting help in our unit. Upon move in our kitchen and bathroom floor was replaced because of water damage which they just stuck new flooring on top of rotten wood. The new flooring is now peeling up after only 4 months. We've heard horror stories from multiple neighbors about the bug infestation that happens during the spring/summer and how maintenance has left holes in their ceilings and walls which are also not fixed yet after months. We also have mold in our laundry room which again we have yet to have someone come out and look. The property is also covered with trash and people not picking up after their animals. Please save yourself the stress and headache, Do Not Move Here !
I’ve lived here for four years. The first two years I lived towards the back of complex. It was ok but I moved towards the front. This is when I ran into problems. First off, the breezeways are filthy with trash from food containers and cups from people using the breezeway as their hangout spot. People frequently sit on the steps smoking weed and hang out with friends. I’ve witnessed two shootings in this complex and the office responded with “we can’t help who lives here.” Don’t care about their residents. The front office constantly closes randomly throughout the week. If you value your safety, I don’t recommend this place. Not to mention the are constantly water stains in the ceiling. I’m pretty sure the apartments have a mold problem. The trash compactor constantly breaks and the trash is always overflowing which is a huge eyesore.
I have lived here for almost 4 years. And I MUST say, since the new management has taken over, Naryah and her amazing team in the leasing office. Has made sooo many much needed changes, and in such a little amount of time! Their speed, understanding, care and willingness to assist Is absolutely unmatched. Not to mention they do it all with a smile on their face lol. The Ariel apartments are absolutely beautiful, and with all the renovations I can only imagine the finished product. The Ariel apartments are located Close to multiple shopping centers ,as well as right off the highway so extremely convenient location. A few other amazing things that they have ,is they come with the washer and dryer‘s, they have a gym on site ,as well as a park if you have children ,and even a dog parks if you have furry children lol The Ariel apartments are for sure a great place to live. And i couldn’t be more pleased with my decision to re-sign my lease. To the staff at the Ariel apartments, thank you for all that you do, have done, and will do!!! It was needed and it’s appreciated.
I have lived here for a few years. And I can say since the new management has taken over, Naryah and her amazing team in the office. The Ariel apartments are for sure a great place to live.
I see a lot of negative reviews on here. I believe they are due to all of the previous issues with different management. And people may just be a little frustrated. But I have lived here through multiple management companies, and I have to say that the new management is by faaaaar the BEST I have ever dealt with. They should seriously be commended and rewarded for their dedication, and everything they have done in such a short amount of time.
The Ariel is absolutely amazing!!! The location the staff, the price, the apartments, the atmosphere I love everything about it I’m so pleased
Don’t live here!!!! I lived in the complex for more than 5 years and each year it got worse and worse. I think the management company changed at least 3 times. The office is RUDE and UNPROFESSIONAL! The complex is full of trash and the breezeways are worse. Residents double park so you can never find parking and they constantly have car break ins. The pool and fitness center are closed all the time because residents trash it. The final straw was the shooting that happened in the hallway of a building and the office sent a letter reminding everyone that they are not responsible for anyone’s safety. Do yourself a favor…don’t move here and find a better complex because this one is a dump!!!
Been here 4 months now and the Only thing good about here is the location. The maintenance shows up a month later after you request to get something fixed! I mean cmon for the amount you pay in rent you would expect some urgency to have a dishwasher with mild fixed and replaced out of your apartment. The front office never answers the phone. Oh and do not have a late payment. Let’s be honest we all have had a late payment here and there. They will file for eviction a day after your rent is late. Which is the 6th. Lol that’s not even legally possible! You have been warned! I wish I would of took heed to the these reviews before I moved here. Let’s get it together people.

The worst place I've ever stayed. Management and property management changes every few months and nobody ever picks up the phones. Maintenance ignores you for days on end, maybe even for a week. Overpriced and they nickel and dime you to death with fees that they can't even explain the use for.
This property is by far one of the worst on this side of town. Need something fixed? Plan on waiting at least a month. Don’t go through hard times either. Staff will treat you like garbage if you don’t pay on time and discourage you from using amenities. There are a high number of break ins and vandalism. It’s not safe at all. Upgrades are cheap for the rent to be so high. Very unpleasant community. Trash and roaches everywhere. Please don’t waste your time. They always have specials because they NEED the residents.
I have live here for over a year now moved and came back. The apartment community now has new management as well as company that took over. This community is under complete renovations inside and out. This is bringing that upscale but still affordable look to the property. The office staff exspecially Shadera is awesome. The staff is very nice, and professional. The maintenance staff are also very professional also and the complete the maintenance request In a timely manner. The neighborhood is very quiet, nice amenities with valet trash. The neighborhood is in an excellent part of town that is accessible to I85 and I485 in the university area. Only minutes from shopping malls, movie theatres and grocery stores.
The staff is rude, unprofessional and unaccommodating. They will be nice to you to get you in and afterwards they don't care. I went to the office to get a package. The ONE lady that was sitting in the office went to give a tour AFTER me mentioning that I came to give a pacakage(takes 60 secs) and told me that I have to wait. This is only one of NUMEROUS issues that I have had with this complex. Maintenance is the #1 issue and they are rude as well. What's listed as emergency issues are not treated as emergencies. I asked for the regional office number, I was told to "google it" just like they would do. They never answer the phone so anything you need you have to go to the rent office for it so I hope you're at home when you have a question. I can't wait to move.
Everyone has started with where do I begin. I know exactly where I start...the service is unprofessional and minimal. The old management was ok but left on a sour note. However the new management is much worse. They got rid of security and resident services. Maintenance is horrible and the reviews show that everyone has bug and mold issues. Our mold issues are only with the old dishwasher we asked be replaced numerous times and are ladybug issue are only in one room...a bedroom near a window. Our sink drips but we still get charged for water even though we have called maintenance. The swimming pool and gym both included amenities close at 6pm because they haven't fixed an issue with an emergency phone at the pool...for over a week. So much wasted potential on a great location!

We appreciate your thoughts, Luke! Our new management team is dedicated to providing all of our residents with exceptional living experiences, so we would appreciate a chance to show you our recent improvements. Please feel free to set up a tour with our team, thank you!
ive been here less than a year and I've had issues with leaks for two months straight. Maintenance sucks! The complex now has new management and communication is close to none. No notices to tenants, no updates about maintenance work orders, nothing about the pool or fitness center.,.dead silence. Can't wait until my lease is up. If you're looking for affordability and that's all this is your place. Everything else truly sucks.
This is the worst complex that my husband and I have ever lived in. Our lease is up soon, and we can't wait to move out! We have had countess issues with mold and leaks and bugs. Whenever we complained about the mold, they just painted over it. The management ignores maintenance requests and the few maintenance men that we do have have said that the place is FULL of problems. The floors are paper thin and you can hear everything going on above you. There is never a place to park in front of the building. Many tenants are sketchy. One night, I went outside and there was a man waving a gun at another man. Last summer, we took our son to the pool and it was disgusting. We never went back. There were unexplained body fluids floating around in the water. The complex claims to keep changing owners and management, with promises of upgrades, but it doesn't happen. The water is disgusting. The toilets have to be cleaned every few days because the water leaves a black, moldy ring.
This place must be buying their reviews because it is horrible. This place is horrible, stay far away. The maintenance guy yelled at me and refused to fix my dishwasher. They never want to fix anything so they hired a jerk to yell at people into submission. The second I asked him to look at my dishwasher I got notice after notice "place is not clean" (duuh, dishwasher broken and washer/dryer was broken), "You have too many pets" (both were on the lease and are service animals), "your pets do not have their shots" (they did I just forgot to update it to them and was never told i needed to), "your forgot to clean up after your pet (I HAVE NEVER NOT CLEANED UP AFTER MY PETS). Just stay away.
I lived here for two years with my son. The apartment itself was nice and spacious, the free internet was great. The outside left a lot to be desired. I saw trash constantly, broken bottles, a NEEDLE!, cigarette butts. The pool was constantly full of rowdy drunks who could care less about kids playing. It got to where I'd just take him to friend's pools to avoid the trash there. Most of the other kids at the playground weren't supervised and one time we got mooned and cursed out by a 6-7 year old. My downstairs neighbors liked to smoke weed on their porch so I couldn't ever open my patio without getting the smoke inside. Maintenance came into my apartment at 2 am without calling me, saying that they'd knocked but that they had no choice because "somewhere in the building there was a leak". Nobody seemed to care when you complained about these things. Now a YEAR later I get a bill for $80 that's been sent by National Credit Systems. I call the apartment because I don't want to deal with a bill collector I've never heard of and they say they have absolutely no records, and maybe I should just dispute it with the bureau's. I paid up when I moved, they inspected and I paid the last water bill that had been forwarded. I really don't appreciate the lack of help. This place was a nightmare.
After a YEAR of moving out and paying everything in full including my final bill I get a letter from a collection agency saying that I owe that amount. I looked in my bank statements and it showed that I had paid that a month after I moved out. I even received a letter FROM THE APARTMENT COMPLEX inviting me back to be a resident there again. I called the collection agency and they refuse to work with me. They say that the check evidence is not enough proof to show that it was paid for that specific bill. The check was claimed on June 1st and my move out date was April 28th. There is no reason why I would continue to write checks to the apartment complex after I moved out. They even kept my security deposit for any damages. Which there weren't any. I asked the collection agency what this charge of $86.28 was for and she said it was the last bill. The check I wrote was for the exact amount of $86.29 and it was claimed exactly 2 days after it was written. I even verified it on the phone with my bank that it was claimed by PAVILLION CROSSINGS. The apartment complex refuses to work me with me as well saying that they don't have my file on record and that it is in the hands of the collectors agency. The agency says that they don't have that file either. So they basically lie to your face and FORCE you to pay this bill or else they threaten to ruin your credit. The credit collectors are very very rude and unprofessional. This is a scam. Please DO NOT rent from Pavillion Crossings they do this to many of their clients. There were so many complaints about the same exact issue. If you currently live there please obtain all the proof of every payment you make. Make them verify that all the bills were paid in a timely manner even after moving out. Because after a year of moving out, they will want more money from you. HORRIBLE, SCAMMING business practices. To Pavillion: I hope you enjoy the $75 you received to sell my "claim" over to the collection agency but you lost some great tenants. We paid everything in time and punctual with all of our payments. But we will not stand to be ripped off by you.
I had a long review typed and ready to post, but it was too long and I was unable to post. Basically what I can tell you in enough words to keep it short and sweet is that this is the worst complex I have ever lived in. I am in my twenties and unfortunately do not make the money to live the life of luxury that I would like to live. Needless to say, my standards are set pretty low when it comes to looking for affordable apartments. It is sad that this complex could not even meet the bare minimum of standards. I wish I had enough room to explain everything, but here is everything wrong with living here. Poor management and bad communication between staff and tenants. Maintenance requests have to be put in numerous times before anything is done about them. The property is dirty. Good luck when trying to call the office with an important matter. If they actually take the time to answer the phone the management is usually "too busy" to take the call.
The apartments themselves are nice. The outside of my building constantly has beer and cigarette butts from people standing outside smoking and drinking. Office staff for the most part is courtesy except for one young angry Lady. Always mad or moody. Never smiles or kind when spoken too. Very rude in her derminer. The office never returns phone calls. If they do it's over 3 days later. Hold on to your packages from FedEx or Post office without contacting you. Had package come in Dec. Found out about it in Feb. Tons of kids in complex. People seem friendly. Not exactly what I expected for the money.
This place is not what I thought it would be. I am trying so hard to get out of my lease. They are constantly setting off my fire alarm at all times of the day. The neighbors have tried to kill our animals and also threatened us. There is NEVER any parking in front of my building and people who DO NOT live here park front row. The fitness center was supposed to be closed for at most two months but it was closed for probably six. They towed our cars to repave the parking lot but did not tell us they were doing so nor told us where our cars were. They are so inconsiderate. If you ask for a package they claim they don't have it but its really just shoved in top of the stupid package closet.
The apartment complex is general a good area and environment to live in. The only problem or concern that I may have are the visitor parking. But other then paying rent, the apartment complex means well. It would be nice to have a lower rate on rent each month but due to the area I don't see any changes with lowing the price each month.
Maintained ability to get to know residents even after making major changes to the complex, being purchased by another company, restarting, and making major renovations to the property. One thing I will suggest is for them to become available to those who cannot always physically make it to their leasing office via phone, which is the biggest problem I had.
Great complex, many amenities. In apartment laundry. Alot of activities that the complex puts on.
My stay here has been amazing ,,,, the news management is perfect and responds to maintenance requests promptly, quiet neighborhood with no drama ,great amenities too and clean community , I will recommend this place to you you and you . Happy tenant , Maggie
This complex is perfect for what we were looking for! The rent is the cheapest in the area and by far the largest! I have about 850 sq. ft and I have one bedroom. The community is quiet and they have a playground for dogs! It is in the university area and right across the street from a movie theater and concert venue. My family and I walk to the theater every weekend and we even walked to a concert last week and avoided concert traffic! The neighborhood is perfect for anyone! I got free cable, internet, and a security system when I moved in!
