Wellshire is known as one of the city’s best neighborhoods to live in. Wellshire is home to several parks and the Wellshire Golf Course. Wellshire also has bike lanes and trails like the High Line Canal Trail for residents to enjoy. Residents appreciate living just eight miles away from Downtown Denver, but the area feels like a suburban neighborhood. Along with having great schools, Wellshire is adjacent to the University of Denver, so it’s common to see children riding bikes or students and faculty walking to campus. There is a plethora of grocers, casual eateries, bars, and coffee shops located along South University Boulevard and South Colorado Boulevard, so residents have easy access to plenty of shopping and dining options. This sought-after neighborhood has a variety of housing options available including student apartments, modern condos, townhomes, and single-family homes.

Property Ratings at The Arlington
The area is nice & I love living in the area. The RTD is super close & I haven’t had an issue living here. Steve has also been very helpful in every situation. The neighbors are nice & everything runs smoothly.
I lived in this apartment for 4 years. The apartment is very cozy, clean, and quiet. One main reason behind the comfortable life in Arlington is David and Cheryl. The apartment managers, David and Cheryl, are super great, helpful, and very friendly! They are the best apartment managers I have ever seen. They take good care of each tenant and the building. Everything would be fixed on the same day after a request. The feeling lived here is just like home. The location of the apartments is ideal. In the immediate surroundings of the apartment, there are several good restaurants and a good neighborhood. It is also close to DU and the railway station. I highly recommend living here!
I lived in this apartment building for one year. David and Cheryl take good care of the building and tenants. Everything is fixed in the same day the notice is given. Strongly recommended if you are a student or a young professional.
Very quiet and clean building. On site parking for a small extra monthly fee. The landlord is a nice couple that lives on site. They are very responsive and very friendly. I had no issues while living here and had a positive experience.
David & Cheryl (the building managers) are wonderful people who always offer a kind word and a helping hand. Even though there aren’t that many extra amenities at the Arlington, it was a great place to call home because of the community there. It is cozy, quiet, close to everything a DU student would need. I will really miss it!
I have never had such a great experience at an apartment complex. The landlords were always helpful and timely. I highly recommend living here!
After living 1.5 years at the Arlington and 2 other apartments nearby DU, I can say this is a wonderful place for first time student renters. The current management team, David & Cheryl, are super responsive and patient with everyone. You can tell they dedicate their lives to keeping the apartment up to date and renter's happy. They are very approachable, too. The location is wonderful for DU students and the neighbors are friendly and quiet. Overall, a great place to live if you are a student looking for a peaceful, cozy home.
We found the apartment by their vacancy sign and couldn't have been more fortunate to find such a nice apartment with an excellent management team. David and Cheryl were extremely responsive and proactive. Their onsite management created a secure envirornment. Move in and move out processes were a breeze. Apartment was very clean and efficient.
The main reason behind the comfortable life in Arlington is David and Cheryl. They are great and take care of everyone with respect and passion. They are really helpful in everything you need.
I lived in the Arlington for a year. It was great from the beginning. The managers are super nice and helpful all you have to do is talk to them about any problem you have and they will be all ears. It is quiet and in a good location. Only downside is that if you have a naturally loud voice like myself then you have to pay attention to how you are speaking because people can hear you. 5 out of 5 loved the experience if I was not getting a pet I would have stayed! Thank you for a great stay!
Apartment manager is so nice. When I move out, they helped me a lot. Also they can solve any problems of apartment in any time. The apartment is clean and warm. It became my second home in US. Good apartment!!
My husband and I lived at the Arlington for a year and it was a great experience! The apartments are older but kept in good condition. The proximity to DU campus is incredible. The managers (Dave & Cheryl) are so great, we loved them. They are so friendly and so helpful. The downsides to the apartment were that the kitchen cabinets were really squat (you can’t even stand a normal-sized bottle up in them) and the walls/door facing the main hallway are thin and you can really hear your neighbors when they are out there & vice versa. Overall, the Arlington is a great place to live!
her time here. The property managers were so very nice and they learned my association with my daughter and always greeted me by name and with a smile. When she had any maintenance issue they came right away to correct the problem. The property was kept clean and tidy at all times and they did a good job with snow removal. For the most part most residents complied with the "quiet time" policy. If I had to think of a downside it would be how often the water was turned off. Considering this is an older building if the residents would heed the warnings as to what is good and not good down toilets then it would not have been an issue. My daughter lived there for almost 2 years however moved so she could have cat, there is a strict no pet policy here.
Great apartment and great landlords. I definitely would recommend this apartment complex for anyone who is looking.
My roommate and I both moved from California to Denver for an internship. The managers, David and Cheryl, were helpful and made our transition moving in&out very smoothly. They are responsive, friendly, and always maintaining the buildings upkeep. The location of the apartments is ideal with great restaurants around the neighborhood, close to DU, and to the railing system. Definitely recommend and would move back if we had the opportunity again to work in Denver!

I enjoyed my stay at the Arlington for more than a year. The building and apartment were clean and safe. I never had any issues. Dave and Cheryl are doing an excellent job managing the building. They are professional, friendly and responsive. I definitely recommend this building to anyone who wants to rent a safe, clean and well-managed apartment close to DU with a fair price.

I really enjoyed living in The Arlington Apartments for almost two years. I first shared a two bedroom then moved into a spacious studio. Great location in the University area. Never had any issues in the building. Management is fabulous, easily accessible, responsive, professional and friendly. The building doesn’t have as many amenities as other nearby newer buildings, but is clean and safe and fairly priced. Rooms are also newly renovated. Building Managers David and Cheryl are wonderful! I am going to miss living here.

My roommate and I lived here for one year while we were finishing our Masters at DU. There are not words to describe how great this apartment is! The main reason why this apartment is so great is because of the managers- David and Cheryl. These are the best apartment managers I have ever had, very knowledgeable, friendly, and they really care! They work way to hard! They made the move in/ move out process a breeze, and really worked with our school schedules. They are also very communicative with problems or happenings around the apartment and will notify you immediately of things. They have installed some security measures as well to ensure resident's safety- I felt very safe here. They also fix any problems right away and really strive to stay on top of things. My roommate and I had a two bedroom /1.5 bath which was great! It was on the 4th floor, but there is an elevator to help with the moving process. The apartment complex is a bit older, but well maintained, spacious, newly renovated, and clean. Closets are quite large and plenty of storage space in the apartment. The price we paid for parking and the apartment was amazing- especially since it is so close to campus. Campus is a block away, the RTD stop is a short walk, I-25 is right down the street, and many stores and restaurants are walkable. I would recommend this place in a heartbeat and I truly felt like it was "home" the year I lived there. Thank you David and Cheryl!

I have lived in the Arlington for the past 2 years. The location is great close to the train and nice neighborhood. In addition, the price is very convenient in comparison to other apartments. I can't say enough about the property managers, David and Cheryl because they are kind, helpful, professional, and flexible. They care about all residents and always ready to help and work around their needs. They made me feel like I am home and I am so honored that I met them. I highly recommend the Arlington apartments to anyone who consider coming to Denver. Thank you David and Cheryl for everything and I will never forget this amazing experience.

I moved into the Arlington in the Fall. The property managers, David & Cheryl were incredibly helpful in working around my need for a month to month lease. You couldn’t get better property management anywhere in my opinion. The few minor issues (I clogged my sink, my refrigerator was noisy)I had with my unit were resolved by David within the day. Having them both live on the property is the biggest benefit to living at Arlington Apartments because of the amount of access to them for assistance, as well as to keep the Arlington building safe from those who are not invited guests. The Arlington is also a generally very quiet and incredibly clean building; I don’t think that you can find rent on a one bedroom apartment much cheaper in the area (University of Denver) then at The Arlington, especially with such great service, space, and quality. It may be an older building but everything is functioning well & noise hardly travels at all, both in the apartments and the halls. Also, the parking is a STEAL in this area at $25 a month for your assigned spot. Overall, I couldn’t recommend The Arlington more highly & was so dissapointed to be moving out. If you’re a student (or especially if you’re a parent of a student) or professional looking for housing in University of Denver area, the Arlington is where you want to be.

We are very pleased to know that you had an excellent housing experience here at the Arlington Apartments! Thank you for taking the time to write us a review and for the positive recommendation.
Too many problems in the building for the one manager to handle. There is little to no amenities. Apartment flooded twice in the 6 months I lived there. Move out process was handled poorly lease was not renewed and I was given no explanation as to why. There is much nicer apartments available in the same area with a management team and many amenities for the same price. Would never recommend to somone leasing for the first time. Payed rent on time the whole time and they did not want to keep me around and would not say why.

(12) “Would never recommend to somone leasing for the first time” We have many first time renters at the Arlington that do quite well here - many of whom are international DU students.

(10) “Move out process was handled poorly” We gave the former resident 6-weeks prior notice of non-renewal extending his/her contract an additional month past the original lease agreement termination date. Colorado does not require ANY notice be given for contracts that have a natural termination date, though, 30 days is customary…we gave 45 days.

(9) “Payed rent on time the whole time” ALL residents at the Arlington Apartments pay rent in a timely fashion. Paying rent on time is just one of many items (45 to be exact) in the lease agreement and tenant rules / regulations that residents at the Arlington happily fulfill.

(8) We are a new management team for the Arlington – living onsite since March 25, 2018. We have worked diligently to mitigate building issues, and strive to address work orders as quickly as possible - often on the same day they are placed.

(7) “There is little to no amenities” Parking is cheap, the apartments are large, and heating / water are included in the base price. Coming this spring is a newly remodeled community room and courtyard with outdoor grills for resident use.

(3) What I can say is we do not tolerate domestic disturbances, blatant disregard for tenant rules / regulations, and take reports of disruptive behavior very seriously.
Short walk to the train and neighborhood food. Older place that runs out of hot water for shower regularly and tub doesn't drain without lots of draino. But, cosy place with a nice manager and great location.
