Downtown Huntsville encompasses the triangle formed by Interstate 45, State Route 19, and U.S. Highway 190 in the center of Huntsville. It’s here that you’ll find the bulk of the city’s culinary and retail offerings, as well as a diverse mix of rentals including charming and low-lying apartment complexes and single-family homes. Downtown Huntsville is also where you’ll find the Sam Houston Memorial Museum, located on the site of the Houston’s 15-acre homestead and home to several historic buildings. Highway 190 houses a number of taquerias, boutiques, and more. Seeing as Huntsville and the downtown area itself border the Sam Houston National Forest, this is a perfect spot for outdoor lovers looking for a rental near the convenience of the city.

Property Ratings at The Armory | Student Housing
The management here does not care about these college students. There was a leak in my daughter’s apartment and it took them two weeks after we sent them pictures of the black mold to come out and even look at it. They tried to paint it. Which that doesn’t take mold out. Then I finally got ahold of the manager at that time Helen. She finally had them rip it all out. This took three weeks and they left all their construction debris in her unit and didn’t bother cleaning it other then using her vacuum for some of the dust, I was waiting on a call back for credit from Helen but apparently she left because their moral values did not align, We moved my daughter out, and cleaned up our mess not the maintenance workers mess. I have called and left messages, sent messages through their portal to call me and no one has bothered to pick up the phone. They are now trying to charge me move out fees, I should have reported them to the health department and etc. they think they can do the minimal because these kids are all college kids. I have all the pictures of the molded areas, videos and etc because I have heard in the past they were like this. The low rating reviews are not lying. The manager told me these fees were not final and had to have a second set of eyes to final but that makes no sense at all and she hung up on me. I have pictures from when she first moved in and it was trashed then we had to clean everything so that was all documented as well. This place is not a place you want your daughters or sons to live in, the power goes outs all the time, half the time you can’t use the pool, doors stay unlocked that should be locked, or even missing door handles.
Moved my son into a disgustingly dirty apartment with dirty roommates. Tried to get him moved or apartment cleaned and manager never helped with the problem. After roommates moved out and trashed the common area the apartment complex wouldn’t have someone come a deep clean the area. Sent multiple pictures of how disgusting the place was and they flat out didn’t care. Was lied to numerous times by Ty the apartment manager saying it was going to be taken care of and it wasn’t. Nobody should ever have to live in the filth that my son was living in.
