Do NOT move here. One or both of the elevators at our building are always broken. I have to walk up and down 8 floors to reach my car. The fire alarm goes off on the regular basis. If you enjoy being woken up in the middle of the night this place is perfect. The fire alarm has gone off the past two nights, 12:45AM on 9/27/2022 and 3:00AM on 9/28/2022. It took them 2 hours to turn it off the first night and 1 hour to turn it off the second night. It is now 11/06/2022 at 1:20AM and the fire alarm is going off again. 11/12/2022 12:10AM fire alarm went off again. 11/13/2022 9:24PM fire alarm went off again. Do you really want to live like this? DO NOT MOVE HERE.
There are three new large buildings that have just started construction next to this apartment complex and will not be completed for the next few years. If you are looking for lots of construction, noise due to the construction daily, dust from the construction on your outdoor furniture and the entrance and exit to your parking garage obscured due to the construction...then yes, this is the place for you! There is dust from the construction on the pool furniture and in the pool and this won’t end any time soon. The elevators are constantly either reserved or not functioning properly and the building will shake periodically. So, I would advise you to pass on this apartment complex and go somewhere else for all of these reasons.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank you for bringing your concerns to our attention and want to assure you we take these matters very seriously. We do apologize for any inconvenience you have experienced regarding the elevators; residents moving in or moving out of the community do reserve them, and our team does send out an email communication to everyone when this occurs. In order to help address the concerns regarding construction, we have worked closely with ownership to draft a letter to the community, which has been delivered to everyone, and we are also hosting a Resident Brunch Event this Saturday from 10 AM to noon at our clubhouse to address all construction questions/concerns. We are happy to report that in the interim, we have increased our weekly cleaning service, and have focused more attention to areas impacted by debris. I tell people this is an amazing location and a great building with wonderful staff however little things like cool hallways, cool elevators and AC in the mailroom aren?t always up to par. And the pool area is amazing and luxurious with minimal babies in the building, but when they service it, it?s disruptive because it can hours before there are no longer visible suds.

The furnishes look nice, but there are some corners that were clearly cut in the construction of the apartment. I.e. the non-solid doors and the cheap handles. The fact that there is only one elevator is also sub-par. You get what you pay for though, this is a good stop over but not a permanent home, it's just not quite nice enough for someone who wants to live in a "luxury" unit.
I would recommend this apartment because of its location. I would not recommend this apartment with regards to keeping the common areas, outside entrances, elevators, trash rooms, elevator entrances on parking levels, in a clean, sanitized, condition for luxury status. It would be better to have housekeeping services 7 days a week and more garage cans and a recycling bin by the elevator bay at P3.
I would only recommend to live on the top floor as you can hear neighbors above and beside your unit.
The only complaint I have about AK is the elevators are SO SLOW, but other than that I love living here. Great / safe parking, very responsive maintenance, friendly front office staff.
Only negative is price. Live walking everywhere, low maintenance living, great utility prices, staff, other residents, proximity to Trader Joe’s, dry cleaning service.

Apartment finishes are great. Location is hard to beat being adjacent to 75, the katy trail, highland park, and the high street retail. Area is very safe. Lincoln employees have been excellent. The only issues, which I assume management is well aware of, is the elevator situation and being able to hear your neighbors. If you can live with those two things, it's a great apartment.
I have learned that living in an apartment community is only as good as the Management and Maintenance Team both of which are outstanding at AK.
We were well taken care of by the LPC staff. The issue for us was sound and price. There is seemingly little sound barrier in the ceiling which made the feet of neighbors seem very heavy. Secondly, we tried to move to the top floor in a corner unit but at the time we wanted to make a decision the concessions were minimal and the price/month too high for the quality of the finish out. The finish out is very average, while the location is superb. With a quality finish out you could have attracted a clientele that would have arguably paid even a little more. Lastly, you elevators are just too slow, and you would have benefited by three on the property.
Roger is the most professional, customer service-oriented maintenance person I have ever met. This reflects well on both him (obviously) and management of the Armstrong at Knox.
Overall, we had a great experience while living at The Armstrong. Having said that, during the last few months of our year there, we noticed a change in the type of tenants - more students, which tend to be a bit messier and loud, and some tenants that simply were a bit sketchy. So while we planned our move ahead because of our need for a larger apartment, we were sad to leave The Armstrong, but at the same time, happy that we were leaving given the change we started noticing in the people around us.

Need enclosed Dog Yard. How can you say you are pet friendly when there is no facility for the dogs to uninate, especially late at night!!! Consider converting the courtyard. Almost a deal breaker !!!!
Beautiful apartment. Great location. I am understand if the price drives them away but if they choose to splurge a little they will enjoy their apartment home.
Larissa is so great! She could not have been more welcoming or confident in the quality of the apartment complex.
