It may not have the flashy reputation of San Francisco or Los Angeles, but Sacramento embodies the very best of what makes California so unique. The city is well known for preserving its history, from early settlements like Sutter’s Fort to the gorgeous 19th century architecture of Old Sacramento to the artifacts in the Sacramento History Museum. Pop culture and the fine arts are well-represented, with local stages hosting symphony concerts and rock shows and galleries displaying works by the old masters as well as modern upstarts. The local restaurant scene is famous for its heavy emphasis on “farm to fork” principles, making it one of the best places to find fresh, locally sourced food.
Those living in Sacramento love to take advantage of the mild climate, whether that means biking the River Trail, taking the kids to Fairytale Town, or heading over to Sutter Health Park to catch a River Cats baseball game.

Property Ratings at Artisan 8282
I don’t know where to begin, the complex is beautiful and everything is exactly what we need. The pool area is amazing. Neighbors are nice and the community is peaceful. The gym has everything I need and it’s 24 hours. Parking was very convenient for our place, and any questions or concerns me and my wife had, got taken care of immediately. The are very communicative and there energy is amazing. We are very grateful to have been able to be apart of the apartment complex. Alexus and Christopher, are very much recommended to any person or family looking for a beautiful home.

Lived here for 8 months and I’m loving it here! Never felt so comfortable and safe! Everything is walking distance to nails salon, Starbucks, and nice restaurants ! Less than a mile away from target and the grocery store. The apartments are high end luxury. I would definitely recommend anyone to live here.

There is no parking left after 8 pm. The floor/cabinets/appliances are poor quality and break. Mold grows easily even when the AC is on all summer long. The walls are really thin so you can hear everything and anything. I've had instances where kids in the neighborhood vandalized decor by my front door (management didn't do anything). Management is very unprofessional and do not care about their tenants.
I moved here 2 years ago. The apartments themselves feel and look like home. So much space. The community is beautiful. DeeDee has really done an outstanding job with the beautification. The best part about living here is DeeDee, Sandy and Christopher. They are truly amazing. So nice and so helpful in many ways. Honestly other than the beautiful apartment, they are the reason I’m staying. Mike and the guys are also great. Always friendly. Always helpful. I have always felt safe here. The residents so friendly. Dog friendly As far as parking , my son and his wife lived with me and never had a problem finding parking. Ever. The Artisan really is a great place to live. I’m here for another year and couldn’t be happier.
The artisan has no guest parking. Seriously. If you have no friends/family/visitors then this is the place for you. It should be known that The Artisan has kindly offered garage parking for the "affordable" rate of $200 more per month to your lease price (Sadly there are no garages available even if you'd like the extra space at the extra rate). Located near a freeway, the vehicle noise outside the apartments is unending. Say goodbye to a solid night's rest and hello to the sound of car engines and blasting stereos. Having lived here for a lease period I found that if you turn the TV volume up full, you can only barely hear the sounds - keep in mind (or maybe watch TV while wearing headphones, that might be better). The community is nice - people are generally kind and say hello while walking past. The management is also nice - Chris is a great agent and DeDe is an effective manager. My chief and only complaint is that they are more concerned with future residents rather than current residents. Evidence of this can be found outside of the leasing office where they decided to remove 1 of 3 available guest spots outside the gated entrance. But fear not! Parking can be found a block down the road at the local shopping center (hopefully your visiting in-laws/parents can walk a good distance alongside a busy 8 lane road!). The nearby center features a Starbucks, an ATM, a variety of locations to eat, and more. In-unit washer dryer, dishwasher is a plus. Gated complex gives the illusion of safety - FYI the local police don't respond to this location, you'll have to call the CHP for any assistance). The Artisan has also remodeled a handful of the available spaces, you can lease one for an added fee (the rates listed on this website and others reflect the apartments that have not yet been redone, it's $100-200 more per month, FYI). To wrap this review up - The Artisan is a fantastic place to live at face value. Once you're here, you realize the mistake made. I would suggest searching for additional options before seriously considering a move here.
Been here for about a year and i love it.. the staff that work here are so nice . Love the layout of my place and it is very peaceful
Love Living Here! We have lived here for a year and the reasons to live here just keep getting better. First off, it has a great gym! Which was important to us as we were giving up our gym membership to move here. The pool area is really nice and comfortable to hang out at. The apartments are really nice and spacious. My front bathroom is the size of a bedroom...no joke! I love my walk in closet and separated bathroom/sink areas. I feel safe here. The people that live here are friendly and neighborly. My 15yr old got his first job walking one of the neighbors dogs! The parties the complex throws are fun and we always when prizes! I could go on and on but honestly the best thing about living here is the staff. They work their butts off yet make you feel like your concerns or needs are the most important thing in that moment. We never have to wait long for any maintenance (usually provided the next day if not the same day). Mike 1, Mike 2 and Odear are always knowledgeable and friendly which makes it comfortable to approach them if we have a maintenance need. They are very accommodating and friendly. And not that it matters but they have a great sense of fashion and that is always a fun topic! I literally go in the office just to say hi to Dee Dee, Sandy or Christopher. I love our chats and it makes the whole experience of living in an apartment complex so much nicer.

I appreciate the fact that you've taken the time to acknowledge the team here at The Artisan; they work so hard to elevate the every day living experience for our residents - I couldn't be more proud of them. I look forward to seeing you and the family around the property! It is always fun catching up with you. Have a wonderful day! DeeDee M.
I had such a great experience here. The property is nicely kept and the area proved great for commuting; the distance to Midtown is also great and just an Uber ride away.

Hi Erika! Thanks for taking the time to leave your feedback! We were so sad to see you go and hope that you are all settled in your new home. I agree, one of the best parts about our community is being so close to fun areas like Midtown and Downtown Sacramento and still get the perks of being a little outside of the hustle and bustle of the city. Remember we are always here if you need us! Have a wonderful day, DeeDee M.
HORRIBLE PLACE TO LIVE. old management was very nice but the new management is so unfriendly and unprofessional. no packing space, management will tow your car if you parked in the free space without informing you. living in this apartment is a big regret. I definitly don't advise anybody to do the same.
This place is an absolute disaster. Was outstanding, but new management has left it in a very bad place. ROUGH neighborhood with cars getting broken into on a regular basis.

My family and I moved to Sacramento from the Bay Area to pursue a better lifestyle and were nervous with the big step. This location was our first site tour in the area, we looked around at several apartment communities in general area and were incredibly impressed with Broadstone at Strawberry Creek. The 2 bedroom floor plan was very spacious with our wishlist; full size washer and dryer, ample storage in the home, and central heating with cooling. The leasing office has stellar service; Liza, Mary, and Tom are great to work with. Very responsive as well as professional. The maintenance staff are great. We love the community, neighboring plazas, and the community amenities. We intend to make this our last apartment rental before buying a house!

Hello, Thank you so much for sharing these kind words about our community and the staff. We love hearing this feedback from our residents. Please do not be a stranger and let us know if you need anything at all. Best regards, DeeDee Meisenbach Community Manager
Overall, the area is nice and quiet. If you ever need repairs done, it's another story. When I first moved in the floor was coming up near the entry and it took 3 months for them to finally get it fixed. The maintenance guys are great but the property manager doesn't seem to care about any complaints or the vendors they use.
I have lived here for four years and I love it. The apartments are beautiful on the inside. I immediately fell in love with the kitchen with the black appliances, nice cabinets with ample storage, and the pantry closet. The units have a full sized washer and dryer, a walk in closet, and a patio with a storage closet. I have always felt safe living here and there are a lot of nice residents. The pool and exercise room have never been crowded when I want to use them. The location is great. They are a half mile from Hwy 99, a couple of miles from Consumnes River College, and less than two miles to shopping and grocery stores such as Target, Kohls, and Safeway, and 3-5 miles to more shopping and movie theaters in Elk Grove. I commute downtown and take the bus. It takes me 8 minutes to cut through the Lowes parking lot and get to the bus stop. The office staff are nice and professional and the maintenance staff keep the grounds well maintained and are quick to address any issues. I have talked to many residents and they enjoy living here as well.
Well spacious apartment, quite neighborhood and accessible to freeway and public transportation.
My family and I have lived in many apartments. However, we were attracted to Broadstone at Strawberry Creek apartment homes because they had the option of taking out carpet everywhere excluding the bedrooms. I have a daughter who has been in a wheelchair for 15 years. Her tires driving on the carpet in our previous apartments have made it very difficult to clean, therefore becoming costly. Very seldom could she drive on the carpet. But Broadstone at Strawberry Creek apartment homes gave us the option of replacing carpet with vinyl planks. This has enabled my daughter to drive her wheelchair throughout our apartment and feel more independent.
