There’s a little bit of everything in South Baton Rouge, a terrific neighborhood located about six miles southeast of Downtown Baton Rouge and only about five miles southeast of Louisiana State University. It is home to the impressive Mall of Louisiana, terrific parks and the Bluebonnet Swamp Nature Center, and the Country Club of Louisiana. The triangular-shaped neighborhood touches on a bend in the Mississippi River, and the Blue Bayou Water Park sits just across I-10.
While renting in South Baton Rouge is a little more expensive than other neighborhoods, the ideal location puts you within minutes of Tiger Stadium, the shops along Perkins Rowe, the historic State House, and the Nottoway Plantation Resort, the largest Antebellum Mansion in the South. With I-10 stretching along the east side, getting around Baton Rouge is quick and easy.

Property Ratings at The Arts Apartments at Bluebonnet Place
DO NOT LIVE HERE. I am so glad we are moving in August. The new staff is horrible. We lived here for three years no problems but under new management the people are so rude. They waited till the last possible day to put in our rent in then acted ridiculous when my fiancé just tried to go in and talk to them about why it was late with his app not working while we were out of town. She literally threatened to call the resource officer just cause he asked her about it!?!?! On top of the office behavior, the yard is always covered in dog poop. There is always kids screaming running through the breeze ways and in the middle of streets. Worst place I've ever lived. They updated the outside to make it look better but the service is so much worse. You can find better.
Prices have gone up in the last years and the place has not improved. They added lights to trees that are around the grounds of that counts. However they do shine through windows. The apartments themselves have not improved. With their pricing you would expect a lot more. The "gym" is a small room that can be filled by 3 people. For the first summer in a while the pool is available again. Maintenance is sub par. With the exception of Sam the staff is ignorant. Use your money somewhere else where its worth it.
Located on a great location 10 minutes away from the mall of Louisiana I been living here for a year now. As of now I have not had any problems at this place.apartments have been updated and the staff takes care of any problems with the apartment right away.property it's always clean and well maintain. I will defenetly recommend this place to anyone looking around this area
These apartments aren't that bad they have good qualities but also some bad. But for the most part I love my new apartment!
