Property Ratings at The Aster
They agreed to an early move-out and formalized it with a revised contract for an earlier end date. But after we moved out in compliance with the new terms, they still charged us for the remaining month's rent. They never responded even though we contacted them multiple times and sent emails. This apartment now denies the validity of the new contract. They do not adhere to their own contractual commitments.

I can’t speak for living at The Aster, but after I toured the apartment, I was in disbelief. Their “leasing office” was occupied by the agents’ friends’ laptops and purses leaving me to stand while she got all the paperwork together. The buildings looked nice from what I could see but the way she lazily pointed over to the “gym and the “mail room”, left me no choice but to use my imagination. Information about the “affordable” units and “market units was very vague. Oh! And they were showing me units that wouldn’t be available for another 12 months.

Hi, Price. We are sorry to hear that we didn't meet your expectation. We have very high expectations at The Aster Apartments and would love the opportunity to improve. Please get in touch with us at (801) 500-0469!
I was told I would have a parking spot when I signed the lease, I specifically asked. Turns out the parking garage isn't big enough to accomodate the tentants even though many of the apartments are still empty. I've paid $100's in parking tickets because there is nowhere to park in the area. The building is not maintained well. The garbage chutes are always broken and one of the entrance doors never works. The garage gate has also been broken most of the time. If you work a late shift and need parking I would not recommend living here.

hello not enough to give you a in depth view and since I am forced to keep 350 unlike other reviews. The only reason I will never leave is because of the location and what is available via public transport or just walking distance it can not be beat. They have let this property take a noise dive in less then a year and it is sad. I was one of the first people to move in. Even before the offices were set up in the building. Damage Damage and more Damage no care from residents on maintenance or pride in the property and are aloud to continue without any reproduction. If things do not change very soon and fast I give this place two years top before people they would prefer will not rent here.
This apartment complex is brand new and most units are low income. That being said, if you fit the income bracket you will not find a better low income apartment. Amazing walkable location, brand new washer/dryer in each unit, large windows, high ceilings, brand new appliances, granite/quarts counter tops, large tubs, pretty spacious layouts (depending which unit), gym, bbq decks, and large indoor sitting areas. The only downside is not enough underground parking for residents (fcfs), I also got my car window shattered and broken into, as well as a couple other residents. It is a downtown location, but so far nothing has been done about it. Overall for the price, it can’t get better.
I love my two bedroom apartment unit very much. Thank you very much for helping me with everything. I will definitely recommend EMG to my friends. I love both apartment buildings because they provide everything for my own safety situation.
