Located just a five-minute drive from Downtown Atlanta, Old Fourth Ward is an exciting neighborhood representing historic charm and modern sensibility. A haven for history buffs and urbanites alike, the O4W (as locals like to abbreviate it) employs smart city planning and creativity to maintain a close-knit community feel in this small piece of the Atlanta metropolis.
As the O4W's population grows, locals prefer to repurpose old buildings than to tear them down and erect sterile condos. Residents love the old-world feel and choose to build around it, reframing and refreshing their natural heritage. The best example of this phenomenon is Ponce City Market, a modern food hall and shopping center with offices and lofts in the historic Sears, Roebuck & Co. building.
In addition to its vibrant, urban vibe, Old Fourth Ward offers residents access to the Atlanta Beltline as well as the sprawling Historic Fourth Ward Park, Freedom Park, Central Park, and Piedmont Park.

Property Ratings at The Atlantic North Highland
Communcation with pontential appicants is very poor. Timeline in which it takes to be approved for an apartment is lengthy with little follow-up with applicants. Withdrew application and moved on.

Only pro to this place is the location. Besides that, it's horrible. It is extremely loud and neighbors are constantly partying. Security and courtesy officers are useless (when they're even working). There's a bad problem with people tailing residents in through the gated lot. Cars have been stolen out of the garage recently and someone was mugged in the elevator. The building is dirty...very dirty... Management is also terrible. They will never respond to you and if you're lucky enough to get through to them...they'll treat you like trash. Yes...this is the NEW management.

I have lived here for 6 months now and I love it! The new management has been very helpful and kind. The assistant manager, Jordaan, has been extremely helpful to me as of late. You are conveniently right around the corner from I-75/85, and a short walk/drive to the middle of Downtown Atlanta. As far as safety, I am very pleased. I have read many terrible reviews on apartments that are not very secure and people feeling unsafe. You have to have a key fob to get into the parking garage or any door into the complex. I feel safe, and safety is obviously one of the most important things.
Constantly trash in the stairways and hallways and management doesn't seem to care about it, although it seems neither do many residents. This attracts unwanted pests. Workout equipment missing, broken, or not maintained and gym often left a mess. New management took over and seemed to have no plan on how to run the place and has made zero improvements. Management removed all digital payment options and says to bring them a check but didn't leave any kind of drop off box if you are not there during the hours the office is open, which are about the same as a normal person would be at work. My lease was getting close to 60 days from ending and when I asked what to do to ensure proper close out I was given wrong information that would have led to me having to pay another month in rent due to not meeting the notification timelines. They also sent no notification to me about this. When I informed them I was previously told wrong information they didn't seem to care. Location is good though.
They are the worst apartments to live in, the pool is always dirty, the apartments are always flooding, in this year I saw 3 apartments that flooded with water, the dog area is always there. super partner, it’s exhausting to take your dog there, there are always problems there
I have lived here for a little over two years. It was not the best place of residence. Since the management switch things have been much better. Cleaner, timely upkeep by staff, much friendlier staff members always willing to help. I love O4W everything is just close enough.

Thank you so much for leaving us this detailed and delightful review! Here at City View, our team takes pride in ensuring that our residents experience luxury in more ways than one. We're so thankful for residents as amazing as yourself. Have a great day and an even better stay!
I moved into City View in November 2016. The management at the time was awful. They were never in the office, I couldn't have packages delivered there because I could never get ahold of anyone who worked there, and the general cleanliness and upkeep of the complex was terrible. Now, with the new management, it's like a totally different property! The halls are cleaned EVERY week and smell amazing. The upkeep on the greenery and outdoor areas are prompt and timely. If you have a maintenance issue, it gets address as soon as possible. There are ALWAYS at least two people in the office and I now have ZERO issues picking up packages. It really is like night and day. Normally, I don't go out of my way to write reviews, but this was such a drastic change, I had to. I went from almost moving out after a year to wanting to stay as long as possible. City View gets my vote of 5 stars. <3

Thank you so much for taking the time to share this awesome review. We take pride in constantly trying to improve on our level of service to our awesome residents and are happy to know that it shows! We are glad you chose to stay with us!
The staff at city view is very very nice and friendly. The apartments itself is nice and updated. Very tall ceilings so it doesn’t feel like you’re living in a tiny apartment. Kitchen and bathroom has very nice granite countertops. Right across from dog park too!!
I absolutely love living here! The location and views are amazing!!!
I have been in this apartment for almost 2yrs now. It is at the heart of midtown, easy to access I-75/85 and freedom parkway. Previous management was not that efficient and were a lot of problems with maintenance. Since October 2016 we have a new management which is changing the apartment. Units are getting renewed and maintenance is a mouse click away. We are switching to a renewed unit and are excited. I love it.
If I could rate it no-stars, I would. For a large complex, they only have 2 maintenance people on staff, neither work on the weekends. Emergencies take a WEEK! Also, the turnover of staff has made everything worse. I finally moved out of there recently and they wanted to charge me for things that they are legally required to replace anyways (carpets, paint, etc.). Plus, when the new staff came, so did the roaches. :( Not to mention the fact that the staff is unhelpful and look annoyed at during their job. Plus, they are the kings of added fees. Once you add those fees into your rent, you were better off moving to a place that had higher rent but includes everything. They also have a kickback deal with a local booting company, so if you expect them to help you, don't. Don't be fooled by the reviews made by staff or online reputation management companies. This complex should be your LAST option for city living.

Though we understand your frustration, it's tough for us to receive this review, as these concerns were not brought to our attention during your stay. We're working hard to make this community an incredible place to call home and we can assure you that when issues are brought to our attention, we do our best to resolve them in a timely manner. If you have any outstanding concerns regarding your move out charges, we encourage you to contact our team so that we can get those resolved for you.
I am warning you. DO NOT STAY AT CITY VIEW APARTMENTS. The management was awful, The appliances in the apartment would constantly break down and would take months to fix, and worst the worst part was that we were charged almost 1000 dollars for a leaving fee. Supposedly any client who stays at city view WILL be charged an additional 1000 when they leave even if you kept the place just like it was when you got there. I must say, the view at the top of the parking deck was unbeatable, but everything else about the apartment made for a terrible experience.
