Property Ratings at The Aubry
I do not recommend this complex to anyone! The maintenance is horrible and they charge you for things that should be handled by property maintenance. The complex constantly shuts off water to different buildings. The dog poop is never cleaned, and is everywhere on the property. Crime runs rampant in this complex and has no signs of slowing down. Management is only concerned with signing new tenants. Once your lease is signed they do not care about you! Don’t be fooled by the brand new paint on buildings, or the newly outfitted appliances. This complex is run down, and the management fails you at every step of the way.

The first half of the time I lived here there were ants constantly and occasionally roaches in the apartment. Maybe we have a new exterminator because that issue has been resolved. There are still issues with vents not blowing hot or cool air effectively (in the bedrooms or to the dryer). And I have had numerous issues with faulty appliances and leaks in the kitchen. The maintenance team is personable and responsive. I get the feeling their hands may be tied by management as to what they can replace in the apartments? Though I don't know that we needed it, the paint job is beautiful. Numerous things are being upgraded. I look forward to seeing and experiencing it once all is said and done. Lastly, this neighborhood and being backed up to two trailheads is great!

Both my husband and I have lived here for 18 years. We've seen the property go through many changes. Our concerns were laid to rest when the Greystar Management team took over. We want to express our thanks and gratitude to the Maintenance Supervisor Jeremy and his crew, who handled our emergency air condition issue and stove replacement with care, courtesy and professionalism. Also, a shout out to two wonderful leasing agents Sindy and Sarah, whom you can easily reach out to in addressing and solving any issues that may arise.

At first I loved living here but after a year, it’s over priced, maintenance doesn’t come to fix anything. I’ve been trying to have maintenance come check my washer machine due to some leaking and not draining water and it’s been over 3 weeks. I’ve been having to clean up water from the leak every few days. My apartment has a den and above us is a patio and every time it rains water leaks from the ceiling and it’s starting to have a smell. I’ve told maintenance and they told me to leave a towel or bucket out for the leaks and that they were going to repair all the balcony’s so it would prevent leaks but I was told that in March and it is now December. I’ve tried to get rid of the smell and when someone finally came to check the washer machine he said it was fine but all he did was start the washer and left which left it leaking the next day. I brought up the smell and he told me it was mildew and said “it would go away when the washer machine started working” so far it has not gone away. I keep my apartment very clean and I cannot get rid of the smell. Also neighbors steal packages and leave dog poop bags outside their doors or at others. Then the doggy bags are never refilled so everyone doesn’t pickup after their pets. Also leasing office never picks up phone.

Hello! Management has changed as of 4/2022 and we noticed this review had not been acknowledged. If you still currently reside here, please contact the office if you still reside here so we can improve your experience living here at San Miguel Del Bosque!
New staff is rude. Paperwork wasn't handled correctly and to hear back I had to reach out multiple times. Long wait time for maintenance. Just didn't enjoy my experience there, I've had much nicer and more capable interactions with other apartment complexes.

Hello - we are disheartened to hear that your experience at our community has not met either of our expectations. We strive to give 5 star services in every situation, but we have fallen short and we apologize. Please feel free to reach out to our manager Phil at 505-890-0009 or come to the office at your earliest convenience so that we can make this right moving forward. We appreciate your feedback.
First let me say the girls in the office are amazing. Sweet and helpful all the time. However, maintenance is a joke. We would have important things happen like toilets not working, dishwasher not working, AC making a mess leaking water and it would take at least 2 weeks for them to come out to look at it. They would then have to order a part which would take another week or two. It shouldn’t take a month to get basic repairs done. Rent is too high for what you get. The pools are freezing cold all year round.
Please!! Save yourself the money! Don't be deceived by the fancy newly remodeled clubhouse. They do not let their tenants use it. Its only good to lure you to think the old apartments are halfway maintained. You will not be able to see your unit till you move into it and have a pit of problems. NOTHING is maintained to adequate standards. The carports that you will pay extra for are full of birds to drop on your vehicle, not too mention rusted so when it raines you will have rust stains on your car. If they tell you the hot tub is down and "getting repaired" , its been getting repaired for 2 years now. The ceiling above creeks due to old loose flooring above, Loud enough that you will want to scratch your own eyeballs out from NEVER being able to sleep! If you ever need to know a balance you will ALWAYS be given incorrect information creating a late fee for next time. If you have any appliance issue, don't expect it to be fixed. All they will do is replace it with another faulty one and ask you dumb questions like your not using them correctly . 40 years old. Yes I know how I use a washing machine. This place is a rip off . The worst management and staff and is bait and switch at its finest!!
I moved here in September 2016 and have not had any real issues since I moved in. I'm paying a fair chunk for a 1 bedroom but it's been really renovated and is super nice and big with new all-black appliances and a built-in microwave, hardwood floors, track lighting in the kitchen and placement in a quiet little back corner of the complex, which I love. The ladies in the office are pretty nice and I haven't had any problems dealing with them to this point. I love how easy and convenient it is to pay rent online, as well as put in a work order online. The repair guys are very quick and do a good job. I can't speak for anyone who's had a bad experience here, but I sure haven't. Moving from Oklahoma all by myself with just my dogs was scary enough at least I was able to find a great apartment that I really like. Beyond that, it's really convenient to all kinds of stores and in a good area. It's worth the 20-25 drive to work.
I would rate this zero if it let me. This apartment complex looks pretty and well kept up with. However after leasing and living with this complex it has been 1 problem after another. Really poor management team, horrible customer service. I thought I was a paying customer? A resident? When calling for questions about the outrageous ant investment they have, we live on the 2nd floor we're clean individuals. Ants in my bath tub, all over the kitchen, and my living room. I got told to try home made remidies. Which I was blown away by. Multiple leaks in the living room, patio door which we never use. Noise complaint underneath, apparently just because it's annoying to myself, if they can't hear it outside it's not a noise compliant, according to Dottie. Also getting hung up by Dottie one of the management team members, because she's not going to argue with me. When she could just say "I will fix the problem" no she hangs up on a paying customer that is non confrontational. I will not be signing my lease or give this place a good reference to any close friends or anyone I know for that matter. Common denominator, when I see Dotties name in multiple reviews. She needs a different job that doesn't involve customer service. She lacks people skills.
The San Miguel apartment complex is a great place to live! Very easy to think of all the pros for living here. Great location! Everything you need is super close. Quick easy access to river trails, a movie theater, Sports and Wellness gym, grocery stores etc etc etc. The staff is extremely helpful. Maintenance for any situation is handled quickly. Pool and hot tub open all year long. Too many good things to say. Only bad thing I can think of, was out of anybody's control. These apartments are perfect
