Property Ratings at The Aurora @ Twenty Seven Hundred
Sadly been a resident for 2 years, and we moved into a roach infested unit .. after talking to neighbors we realized that it wasn’t just us, it was the entire building. Huge ones get inside, and run around the parking lot in the summer. The pool is never open, laundry room is nasty and washers never work, constantly Killing roaches in our home when we are clean.. worst experience ever. Don’t Do it please.
major cockroach infestation. large ones. Spacious pretty units but not worth it if you have bugs as roommates. Dont move here
I love it here, the community is wonderfuk, barely any outside noise, the children here are splendid, the workers are friendly, the apartments are 10/10, and I just love how they’ll help you with any problem you could have.
The people in front, they are really nice and help me to find place to move!
We’ve been living in our 2 bedroom for 6 months and there have been nonstop roaches everywhere in our apartment. We keep everything clean every day and take out the trash every day. No dishes/food are left out and there’s still roaches. We’ve found roaches inside the fridge/freezer. We’ve tried traps, raid, bombs, we’ve called pest control and they don’t do anything but put some paste in the corners. Nothing works to kill these roaches. There’s even small ones in the carpet in all the rooms and bathrooms. In addition to this, everyone received a letter from management that there was a shooting in the apartments late one Sunday night and that police got involved. Residents haven’t gotten an update after that. Management rarely picks up the phone and maintenance has yet to come and fix our leaking roof. We’ve left messages since December that when it rains the roof leaks.
This apartment is managed by SMP. They fail to Keep up with property. After moving in during my 1st two months. Our Apartments had caught fire while I was at work due to their Air condition unit from the neighbors lower apartment. My teenage daughter had just got home from school was injured running out. After dealing with the emotion of the fire. 3weeks later A few cars was stolen out of the apartments. Mines included a police report was made & car was later recovered unable to start. Their maintenance man who Lives on property Sexually encountered a tenant police involvement & he was only sent to a different property yet still remain living in apartment after Police Filing. Water is included in rent, however their pipes or Water systems is always messed up Tenants go hours sometimes a day to go without water & a notice saying water has to be off again! They have a very Bad pest and roach problem! That they don't correct. They refuse to notify every tenant to do a proper clean out. Property Manager has been mishandling funds & stealing money, from Vendors & tenants. SMP change policy to how they accept rent. This woman made numerous letters to change the payment method so that approved H.U.D regulated program can disburse her a check. When no other tenants had these additional fees. A claim has been submitted for them to be Audited. I would suggest Not to move in these apartments unless it's FREE! And even so get in get out Save your money and Go!.....its not worth the sanity! Or your peace.
Recently move into the property and I am really enjoying it. If I have an issue it gets fixed, they are open everyday to keep track of the properties conditions and to assist residents. They make you feel like you are part of a community. While I am saving up money to purchase a house, I am very pleased to call park crossing my home.
Pretty nice apartment complex. The front office staff is very nice and responsive. I have a 2 bed/2 bath apartment. Its a very sizable apartment with plenty of room for all of your things. Fairly quiet with many families living in the complex. The bugs are my biggest issue. They do provide pest control, but it has done nothing to stem the bug issue. I will go into the kitchen at night and kill 5 or more roaches every night. Another minor inconvenience is the lack of ceiling fans. The listings say that there are ceiling fans in my unit... and there is... but only one. It is in the living room. Having them in the bedroom would be great. Occasionally have to deal with stray trash that is left in the hallways and common areas (but I'm sure people have no idea why there are bugs...)
I like the location and the size of my apartment complex. However i do have a few issues concerning it. When i moved in there were so many house roaches that i bought 3 roach bombs, sprayed the baseboards and perimeter, and called the leasing office twice. Super baby roaches still exist. Plus I'm not a fan of popcorn ceilings. But love the functionality of the floorplan.
