Property Ratings at The Avion
Two words: Bad Management. Want to get into your apartment? Too bad, the key fobs don't work. You can't use the amenities either. Want to charge your car? Too bad, half the chargers don't work in an apartment where there are 10+ electric cars. Want to park your car inside? Too bad, sometimes the gates don't work and when you're gone long enough, someone else parked in YOUR paid parking spot. Want to call someone from management? Too bad, they don't pick up but will if you need help to pay your rent. Want to use the elevator? Power issues happened TWICE in which someone got stuck in there and we had to call the fire department. This is a NEW apartment building, how are we having power issues??? Your "luxury" apartment has wood peeling off from the floor and you complained more than a month ago to get it replaced only to get a "we'll call you back" with no follow up. The interest of getting things fixed for tenants is completely false. Want peace and quiet? Nah your neighbor above or below you will blast their music and smoke up the place only for management to not do anything. Want something fixed immediately because it's causing a chain reaction that involves the above? Too bad, "maybe" we'll fix it in a few days. - Straight from the new live in super. You're better off renting from a management company ran by literally anyone else. Do yourself a favor, read all the other review and stay as far as you can from renting at any property ran by JP Management. They just want your money and don't care about anything else like your quality of life. The installation of the gate, live in super, and concierge was supposed to be a fresh start, and they fumbled it so bad. Absolutely regret living here, they have lost my business and I'll take the rest of my lease to keep others from making the same mistake.
Do not live here. We are paying Luxury prices for HORRIBLE management. It feels like no one even works here. You are on your own for everything. Huge security issues and management is not doing anything about it
Definitely a hidden gem in a very quiet area surrounded by nice homes. The Avion is a brand-new collection of luxury rental residences in Elizabeth, NJ. Came across this hidden gem by the listing and driving by the property. I called and even though I had no appointment to review, the leasing agent Andy immediately called me back and made an immediate appointment to view. He showed me all the units I was interested in per the apartment.com listing and a few others not listed. He was so nice, friendly and gave me all information needed to make a good sound decision with choosing this place to call home. Fell in love with the 1 bedroom with own separate patio. The price for this luxury unit was great with 1 month free rent and also easy application process which was approved in 1 day. The management staff Nancy, and Sandra are so attentive and helpful during move in and beyond move in. Cesar the Director of Maintenance is very informative and helpful too. I love that they care about the upkeep of this new construction with weekly cleaning and maintenance. The floorplans are spacious with nice finishes and fixtures along with the amenties are very desirable with that leave nothing to be desired, including an outdoor sun terrace, private BBQs, co-working lounge, state-of-the-art fitness center and so much more, all just off Route 9 and moments from the North Elizabeth Train Station, Jersey Gardens Mall, restaurants, bars and grocery stores."
I am so excited to be starting my lease today at the Avion! From the day I called, the leasing agent, Andy, stayed late to make sure we could tour on our day off and see all the units within our budget. The building is so quiet and well kept. I know another review said it was too expensive, but this was one of the cheaper luxury complexes we visited, but also the nicest!
The building was built with high quality materials and it shows. The amenities are great. The staff are friendly and attentive and a nice mix of people and cultures here. Close to the airport and restaurants and supermarkets a big plus. Very happy we chose the Avion.
Loved this place when I went to tour, Even though the lobby is very small the finishes are amazing, Leasing agent did not show me any of the apartments for the prices shown on this website which is a little sketchy, it’s very very expensive to move in $5000 between rent and deposit is insane, I would have loved this one but I went with a place that offered $1000 dollar deposit & two months free… I don’t see this place renting out alot of units with such high move in prices 1.5 of your rent for deposit is unbelievable
