Property Ratings at The Banks Apartments
Alexis, the property manager, was knowledgeable, polite and timely in response throughoutmy lease. Clubhouse was always clean and she hosted monthly resident events. Adam, the maintenance guy, was polite and quick to follow work orders as well as keeping the property looking good the entire term of my lease. As for the apt itself, I really enjoyed mine; it looked as pictured, no pets and having most of the utilities included in the rent already meant I had a general idea what my total expenses will be each month besides my electricity consumption. It's not located in the fanciest neighborhood in Albany, but the leasing experience was worth it. My only con is that you can hear the train a couple times a day and night for a few minutes at the time.
The Banks is simply an incredible apartment complex, we love living here! The property is basically brand new and equipped with a modern design with high ceilings and countless windows that are impossible to find for such a great price. The grounds are kept pristine, and the staff is always so helpful and kind, we love the monthly events! The Banks is truly paradise on earth, I would recommend this incredible property to anyone!
The Banks is a very new and well kept apartment complex. It's wonderful river view with all the trees makes it feel like the outdoors aren't that far away. The property management is very nice and responsive!
Brand new apartments (2023)beautifully constructed: RARELY hear the neighbors above or below us, crisp clean lines throughout, with large windows in everyroom offering loads of natural light, plenty of space for the kids and animals. New apartment means new appliances! Which no one can say they don't appreciate! The neighbors we have met in out building have all been exceptionally nice and willing to look out for eachother. The grounds are well lit at night and security cameras around the property offer an extra sense of safety and security. Great location: river front property, many of the units have river view (not ours sadly, but not a deal breaker for us), situated between a park with a playground for kids to play, and a boat ramp, not far from Heritage Mall and major stores, I'm new to Albany but that seems significant to me. Friendly, helpful staffing from management to maintenance: one instance, the office was closed on site, but the corporate office (in Portland) was open and helped get us what we needed; and when maintenance came in to fix a 'new construction bug' (loose faucet handle) we asked if they could fix a couple other 'new construction bugs' and they were more than willing with a smile and friendly conversation. Only two drawbacks that come to mind: 1) no dog park on site, but i know there are others in the area, so its not a big deal (plus with being sandwiched between two parks, there is still plenty of dog walking paths), still very pet friendly apartments, plenty of dog friends; and, 2) they are still working out the final bits and pieces as far as construction/beautification, but that really just offers a rare opportunity to get to watch the place come to fruition and its full glory. We are SUPER excited to see what all they do end up adding
Brand new construction, riverfront location, tons of natural light. Large and spacious living spaces. Management is very friendly and helpful. Quiet location (minus the train). Very dog friendly. We love it here!
So far I’m really enjoying my new home! The view is beautiful and the apartments themselves are wonderful. I can hardly hear my neighbors which is a huge plus. 10/10 recommend!!

We absolutely LOVE our new apartment at The Banks! The construction is top quality; unit is almost soundproof. The wood floors and bedroom carpets are high quality and are perfect colors. The kitchen and bathrooms have tons of cabinets, the light stone countertops are a dream. The windows are extra tall, open layout is extremely well-designed and spacious, with a perfect foyer area. The heat pumps / air conditioners are ideal; work great, are economical and eco-friendly. The views, grounds and clubhouse are stunningly beautiful! Very peaceful and quiet area. And there are EV chargers in the parking lot! Management has been fantastic; professional, friendly and patient; accommodated our move-in dates when they kept changing. Also responded immediately to a maintenance request after we moved in. Very happy to be living at The Banks!
