Property Ratings at The Barker Building
Prime apartment to live in if you want the Downtown Omaha experience but also want some quiet away from it! Property Management has been great, it's a clean environment, and the tenants are friendly and fun. This was definitely a hidden gem and I'm glad I chose the Barker to live in. :-)
The Barker in Downtown Omaha is in a great location. It's located close to Old Market, where there are a lot of bars, restaurants, and shops. The building is also close to public transportation. There are many different apartment styles to chose from, from one bedroom, one bedroom and a den, and two bedrooms. The two bedroom apartments are very spacious and most apartments have a great view of Downtown Omaha. The apartment have brand new appliances including washer and dryer and dish washer. The kitchen has stainless Steele appliances and granite topped counter. The rent is pretty pricey even though the building is less than 2 years old. The management team is not that great and they can't retain their staff. The staff constantly changes. It takes management quite a while to repair things in the apartment. The management team also misplaces rent checks. Overall this is a great place to live and would recommend it.
