The amenities are nice however in my time living here, there has been quite a bot of maintenance issues and problems with cleanliness. I recognize that alot of the issues have also been caused by the residents that live here. I would rec0mend the owners install cameras in order to hold residents liable for there lack of consideration towards other residents and staff.

Lovely building, I love how quiet it is. The staff is incredibly friendly and quick to be at your assistance whenever you need it. The location is fantastic considering youre right next to river street and all of what downtown Savannah has to offer. I've been a satisfied renter for the past 3 years, and I'm choosing to renew my lease to make that a firm 4. Cheers, hope this helps!

This is a pretty great apartment community. I don’t really have any complaints. The only issue for me is the elevators constantly breaking down. I do wish the apartment staff offered more community events. Other than those things, I’ve enjoyed my time here so far.

This apartment complex was great when we first moved in. Since being here there was new management and it’s not been the same. Our garage door has been broken for weeks, and we have to pay 100$ a month for it, even though literally anyone could come in and park because of the broken gates. There is a giant hole in our bathroom ceiling from a leak that we have no idea when it’s going to get fixed. Honestly this place just feels more like a dorm with all the scad students and management throwing community events revolving around the students, like having a pool party on a Thursday from 3-5, when most people work. The old management team in the front office used to care about the people who lived in the building.
Very cozy. Love having my own space. I come back on Wednesday but I love it so far. Can’t wait to bring more decorations and have some me time.

Look elsewhere before signing a lease at The Baxly. I had black mold growing from a vent in my kitchen and the staff did not consider it crucial to get fixed at all. When the issue began, I made the leasing office staff aware and maintenance came in to "fix the issue" (treat for mildew and paint over it). Two days later, it grows back worse than the first time. Same thing over again, maintenance comes, treats, and paints again. Towards the end of my lease, I spoke with the Property Manager who was absolutely no help at all. This individual had no cares or concerns about the issue and even told me that "the mold and/or mildew is not a concern to your health because the spores are already in the air". Truly unprofessional and I highly recommend taking other measures before living here.

Living in the baxly has been so nice and I love the people! Being right on the river next to plant riverside is very convenient and makes going out on the weekends so much easier!
Something is broken nearly every other day, if not every week. The garage has been broken for over 2 months allowing people all over Savannah to park here for free, while we all pay a bunch of money every month. The valet trash service is a massive scam and is ridiculously annoying to deal with. But it’s safe and the staff are very nice.
I love staying at the Baxly! I like how it’s so dog friendly and the staff are very nice. The atmosphere of the place is always inviting. I also like the location of it as it’s super close to river street, Broughton street, and the bridge to South Carolina.

I love my apartment but in the building there’s always something broke, something that doesn’t work. Every week there’s at least one elevator broke cause they hadn’t had service in years, hallways are dirty. Trash pick up is not optional, it’s 25 dollars a month and they cancel every time for no reason. Also the locker service is not working

I really love the Baxly. It's in a super convenient spot, right in the middle of a lively neighborhood with easy access to public transportation, shops, restaurants, and entertainment. The Baxly has awesome amenities that make living there great, like a top-notch fitness center, a stunning rooftop pool with amazing views, beautifully landscaped gardens, and modern communal areas perfect for hanging out or relaxing. The apartments are designed for comfort and luxury, with high-end finishes, spacious layouts, and lots of natural light. The Baxly is located at a nice neighborhood, has cool amenities and I have a great view from my apartment. Love being so close to River Street. Walking distance from a lot of places
Living at the Baxly is a nightmare. Persistent issues go unaddressed for months, like the garage gate left wide open. Requests for repairs are dismissed. Good luck finding them in the office- they’re always closed! Concerns are blatantly ignored and now they’re charging us for packages. Their regional manager hasn’t bothered to respond in over a week. This place is terrible.
Customer service is very poor. You cannot cancel your pet fees or parking fees once you sign up for them. Management has ignored most of my emails. You cannot break your lease; there is no flexibility. We were given the option of paying $11,000 or $18,000 to move out earlier than planned. You cannot sublease; you cannot rent out your unit. Maintenance men will sneak around and photograph your apartment. Office workers will lie to you about what is acceptable in your apartment to convince you that is laid back. Read your lease and you will see, there are limited to no renters' rights. There have been 3 managers in less than one year. You have NO PRIVACY at this complex. We have asked multiple times to be notified 24-48 hours ahead of time of when maintenance men will come and they never do. They showed up at 9am one morning and used chemicals on our balcony to fix a leak in the first month we were here. The whole apartment stank for days and gave us a headache. I had to temporarily move my parrot out. Months later and there is still a leak. The rainwater is no longer absorbed by the concrete. It pools water all fall and winter, some of summer and spring. I have had 2 contractors/workmen pop up leaning over my balcony looking into our windows asking to come in. They don't even knock at the front door. One night at 8:30pm a random man, who entered the roof from the complete opposite side of the apartments, was walking back and forth on our roof for 30 minutes. When I went outside I caught him peeking over our balcony. He did not announce himself and hid. Management did not respond. They have sent out notices that they will discard packages left in the lobby for more than 24 hours. Many of your packages are laying out in the open; anyone could take them. The luxer one does not account for the sheer volume of packages they receive. There is no place to run or exercise your dog. Many of the residents do not pick up after their dog. Surrounding construction can begin as early as 5am. Maintenance did not fix our washer; we later figured out the hot water valve had never been turned on. They replaced our Nest thermostat with a generic one with settings at 85 degrees daytime/ 81 degrees nightly. We have reset it; it does not work. My unit sq. footage online changed 3 times by 100 sq. feet. Most of the adults who are not enrolled in SCAD are ending their leases and moving out. The cost for the return is outrageous.
Clean & pretty nice place. It is worth it to live here.

Everyday when I wake up I realize how lucky I am to have chosen the Baxley as my residence. Each request for maintenance has been completed quickly. The staff here anticipate problems and act quickly to make sure all of us are more comfortable and safe.

This apartment complex is hyper vigilant on where you throw away your trash, but isn’t aware that homeless people are sleeping in the vacant apartments on the seventh floor. They constantly play loud “emo” music— so loud you can’t hear the person next to you— in the lobby and various areas throughout the building. They are avoiding CDC guidelines and put together buffet-style events, especially around Thanksgiving. This building also has a rule that they can enter your apartment at any time, stated in the lease. The higher price is not worth living next to SCAD students who run the hallway at 4 AM and scream.

To all college students in the Savannah area, The Baxly is a GREAT first apartment complex to live in. The amenities like the workout room, lounging area, the pool, etc have been a great way to escape from the stresses of school. When you walk into The Baxly, it truly does feel like home. The Management Team is extremely accommodating and will do everything they can to help your move-in process go smoothly.
