Staff is really friendly and helpful. I do wish there were more parking spots but all the amenities are really nice the two grill areas are super cool even though I always forget it exists

The Becket has always been a great place to live. It was our first apartment, and we are so relieved that it can be a place we call home. Staff is kind and helpful, property is well managed, and it’s always a great place to drive home to at the end of a long day.

The Becket is a very quiet complex. I think the indoor pool is beautiful. The leasing agent is very nice and very efficient.

It's a fairly quiet community and I feel safe even walking late at night. It's close to freeways & good shopping. Glad it's pet friendly! Neighbors are respectful, but not nosey.

its pretty good here. I love the indoor pool a lot, just wish it was open more often. Haven't had any problems with noise or neighbors at all.
Property Manager at The Becket, Responded To This Review
Thank you for your review! We always welcome feedback so we can continue to improve, The pool was closed for a little bit as we sorted out some chemical imbalances, however it has been open for a couple of weeks now! Come on down and get your swim on!
Me brindaron la ayuda necesaria, a pesar de los inconvenientes que tuve, quedo muy satisfecho con todo.

Thank you for your kind words! Listening is the first step to understanding. If you need anything, please reach out to the office so we can be even more helpful!
Well pleased and quiet environment but the only problem I have is the washroom pipe that was fixed in between bedroom and washroom. Whenever a tenant use the washroom you hear the flow as in sound
Property Manager at The Becket, Responded To This Review
Thank you for your feedback! We would absolutely love to see what is causing this sound and if it's something we can fix. Can you please reach out to the office through thebecket@greystar.com, or submit a work order through your online portal? Do you hear the sound when you or your neighb or(s) are using the facilities?
It's been many years of me living here, the staff is always changing and half of the staff seem to not know what they are doing. Maintenance is great very friendly and easy to get along with. The office staff could give more Email updates when events happen.
Property Manager at The Becket, Responded To This Review
We regret to hear of your experience, as this is not what we strive for. Our office team has been in place for about 8 months now, so we haven't had any staff turnover in quite some time. Were there any questions you had that they needed to research? If so, please email thebecket@greysta r.com so we can all look at it together. We do email everyone when we have events, and make sure to give at least a few days notice if we can't give a couple weeks. Can you reach out to the office and make sure your email address is the one we have on file? We want to make sure our records are up to date!
Lo poco tiempo que e estado viviendo aquí me a parecido un lugar muy tranquilo y bonito para vivir y pues e tenido muy buena experiencia por que los de la oficina siempre están disponibles para ayudar en cualquier situación

Thank you for your kind words! We are happy to hear your experience matches what we strive for in customer service. If you ever have any questions or need assistance, please reach out to thebecket@greystar.com. We are here for you!
The unit is fine, and the section of the complex I’m in is fin. The office is hard to get a hold of unless you go in there. My rent is going up ~$400 bc I renewed for only 6 months instead of a whole year with no added value to my living experience. Even if it is out of their control it still sucks. Wouldn’t really recommend anyone live here, which also sucks bc I don’t hate living here, but it’s not worth it.
Property Manager at The Becket, Responded To This Review
We regret to hear your experience was not positive. Our office can be busy which can make it harder to answer phones, however we do suggest emailing us at thebecket@greystar.com. Shorter lease terms will always be more than 11-15 month leases. Can we get you signed on for a longer lease term to decrease your rent amount?
Been living for here for about 3-4 months now, but compared to other apartments I've lived at, I'm not as pleased for the price I'm paying monthly. Security is a large concern, as we've had strangers hang out on our patio and take videos with their phones (caught it on our camera). Then our garage got broken into and had our personal items stolen. There's no security cameras nor improvements on security locks so it's not secure. Leasing office don't respond to emails for weeks. Best to show up at the office if you want any response. Need to keep up with what you're being charged with earlier on since they'll forget to change it.
Property Manager at The Becket, Responded To This Review
We regret to hear about your experience with these situations and do appreciate all feedback. We always advise to contact local police if you experience any safety concerns, as while we do have a courtesy patrol at night, they and us are unable to see everything at all times and do rely on residents to be actively involved when they encounter these situations. Please reach out to thebecket@greystar.com for all the concerns you are not seeing responded to, as we diligently try to respond within 2 days as possible.
My first encounter with leasing agent Josi made me feel welcome the very first day I got here. Her customer service is top tier. I love it here, I feel safe and secured at the Becket. The community is clean and quiet, can have a great peace of mind
Property Manager at The Becket, Responded To This Review
Thank you ever so much for your kind words! Josi is amazing and we appreciate all her hard work. It warms our hearts knowing you received the care and service we strive for. If you have any questions, concerns, or just want to say \"Hi\" to the Majestic Josi, please email thebecket@greystar.com. We appreciate you!
Property Manager at The Becket, Responded To This Review
Thank you for your feedback, we appreciate the kind words! This is great information we can give our ownership group for future renovations. For the scratches, can you please email thebecket@greystar.com so we can document them along with your move-in inspection? Thank you!
We have lived at The Becket for 6 months and from the tour time to move in and during our stay, staff I has been friendly and kind. Maintenance goes above and beyond and is prompt to respond. The grounds are beautiful and maintenance is really the key to the apartments! The ladies in the office are always so nice and knowledgeable, it gives you piece of mind when staff cares about their residents. Thank you to The Becket and all who have made our living experience a great one.
Property Manager at The Becket, Responded To This Review
Thank you for your kind words! We are glad to hear of your experience, and that it meets what we strive for here at The Becket. If you need anything, please reach out to the office. We are here for you!
I currently live here and it’s not terrible apartments but the biggest thing is parking. There is almost no parking whatsoever and cars get stolen/vandalized from here all the time. I had mine stolen from off the property and they wouldn’t do anything about it or help because they said they it’s not on them. There is no CCTV and security is barely there. As much as we pay they should be doing something about all of this. Also don’t expect the pool to work half the time and the walls are very thin. My neighbor is so loud and constantly slamming doors or arguing with someone. If you need a place to live I guess it’s not bad but there is definitely room for improvement.
Property Manager at The Becket, Responded To This Review
We regret to hear about your experience and wish we were able to prevent crime. We do have a courtesy patrol that makes random patrols throughout the night, however, they are not always able to prevent or witness activities. The pool has been open for a few months now, and there will be the need to close it periodically to complete a deeper clean and chemical balance to ensure the water is not dirty or otherwise negatively affect our residents.
The installation of appliances and fixtures is shoddy to non-existent. Sinks are rusty and nothing is caulked, including the bathtub. Everything shifts and creeks loudly when you walk because nothing has been installed properly. And they charge you for new lightbulbs. I have lived in many different apartment complexes through my life, big and small, old and new, single owners and corporations. I have never seen work this poor or been told to pay for replacements in the unit
Property Manager at The Becket, Responded To This Review
Hi - I'm so sorry to hear your experience didn't meet your expectations (or our standards). If these items such as the rusty sinks and caulking issues were overlooked, we'd love to take the opportunity to address them. Please submit a service request through your web portal and we can take a look!
The unit I live in is refurbished so it’s fairly nice. I would give it a 3.5/5 stars, there are still some things that are obvious to apartment living but they don’t make things unlivable. I put in 3 maintenance requests since moving in less than a month ago and none of them have been answered. It’s hard to communicate with the office and no one gets back to me about things, and sometimes the office is locked even when it says they’re open and someone is inside. I like my unit but the office staff is a little disappointing.
Property Manager at The Becket, Responded To This Review
Hello! It's been a bit since this review was submitted, but we wanted to reach out to see if your maintenance requests were completed to satisfaction. If not, please reach out to thebecket@greystar.com after entering them through your portal so we can make them a priority! We have a new team in place now and we have made drastic improvements, though there may be times when the office does have to close for short periods of time for training, meetings, or the potential overlap of tours, lunches, etc. If you are unable to reach the office, please email the above address and we will respond shortly!
We have just about had a perfect living experience at The Becket! We had done some research prior to moving here from California & are glad we found The Becket & the general neighborhood!
Excellent place to live. It's safe, calm and quiet. Great neighbors!
The Becket is a well maintained property with kind and supportive staff. I was new to the area when I moved in, so I didnt know that the property is sort of out of the way from hot spots in the city. Had I known, I may have made a different choice. But overall, the apartments themselves are nice and relatively affordable. I love that pets are welcome here. My only other concerns are that the pool and bbq area have been closed since I moved in three weeks ago, I would like to use these amenities.
The staff has always been quick to address my concerns quick to help me resolve issues very friendly and very courteous.
Living at The Becket has been a solid experience. We would just suggest improving the air circulation and providing up to date appliances, other than that no complaints.
I love it here. Maintenance has been so responsive. The office staff has been so helpful. I have had nothing short of a great experience here at the Becket Apartments.
The Becket is a wonderful place to live. The maintenance team are hard workers, who keep the apartments working. Even during Covid and supply shortages, they found a way to keep things working.
I am proud to say the Beckett is my home because at the Landscaping the new paint job of the buildings the maintenance people and the office staff are wonderful the neighbors are very kind it just doesn't get any better than this
All staff always talks to me real nice about anything I call them about
Love this community! The office staff has always taken care of us and you can tell they truly care about their residents.
I have loved living here for the past 10 years. Except this last year. Extremely loud neighbors. Been to the office 3 times and no changes have been made.
The becket is clean, spacious and quiet community great for families.
It's always clean outside. Staff is really nice to me and they actually listen to you and help with your concern
I have lived here for 17 years. there is no other apartment community I would rather be! As I am older and live alone, I feel very safe. in these days, that is at the top of my list of importance!
This apartment complex has not changed. In one year they had over 2 different property management and they’ve changed their name a couple times (hard to keep up). Security is poor. You would think that there would be a security patrol car at nights in case of an emergency but that’s not the case here. Also, streets at night get to be really dark, so be ready to walk around with a flashlight at all times.
Property Manager at The Becket, Responded To This Review
Hello, Thank you for taking the time to review our community. We are disappointed to see it resulted in a 1 star review however. We do have courtesy patrol that conducts a mixture of 7 random foot and vehicle patrols daily, with each patrol lasting up to 45 minutes. I would love to understand the nature of your emergencies at night as that is something either our on call maintenance or our courtesy patrol vendor would indeed help with. Regarding lighting, we complete weekly light audits and ensure we dont have any lights burnt out across the entire property. If there are areas you have noticed with insufficient lighting please reach out to us and we will look into your concern. I can be reached at TheBecketMGR@pinnacleliving.com. - The Becket Management Team
My family and I moved in on February 22, 2020. After submitting a list of issues that needed to be completed and address. The screen to one of the bedrooms has still to be repaired. I have submitted 2 requests and have sent an email to corporate concerning the issue. Corporate nor the office at The Becket Apts. Renton have contacted me yet. The manager at The Becket was confrontational and disrespectful with me about the issue. I would be careful about doing business with this company .
Property Manager at The Becket, Responded To This Review
I am sorry you had a negative experience. Unfortunately, during the stay home orders, we informed residents that we would not be able to complete service requests unless it was emergency type items such as flooding, electrical, and appliance issues. As restrictions start to ease, we will be getting things caught back up. We really work hard to ensure everyone has a positive experience. Please let us know if you have any concerns or suggestions that can help us make the experience here at The Becket even better. Sincerely, The Becket Management
Lived here since 2015. Unit floods at least 3-4xa year. Despite being an ongoing issue, nothing is done about the problem causing the flooding. Management doesn’t do anything beyond offer me a few industrial fans to expedite the drying process. You’d think that someone would step up and foot the bill to have professionals in to extract water from the carpets/furniture. I’m really upset by their complete lack of concern, particularly when this isn’t an issue being caused by a tenant. Their response? “That’s what you have Renters Insurance for!” Except my insurance doesn’t cover ‘Acts of God’ which is what this situation is classified as, despite the fact that it happens WITH ANY HEAVY RAINFALL. Hardly what I would consider an act of God. It’s pointless to have guests. I am thankful that my kids past the crawling stage, that would be perfectly dreadful. The parking situation here is TERRIBLE. There aren’t even as many parking stalls as there are rental units. There should be at least enough parking to accommodate the likelihood that each unit probably houses at least one, if not two, licensed drivers. If you park in an ambiguous area that isn’t marked, you will not only get a huge ticket issued by Renton PD, they’ll tow your vehicle. On the first offense!! Within an hour of ticketing, your car will be towed. Even if it isn’t a space that is actually marked as a Fire Zone, a Reserved handicapped space, or any kind of space that would otherwise be recognized as parking-restricted or parking-prohibited. If I can’t park there, paint the curb or mark the area with adequate and proper signage before you decide to remove my vehicle an hour after issuing a ticket. Visitor parking is just as much of a joke. Each unit is allotted 48 hours worth of visitor parking PER MONTH, and is restricted to the spaces closest to the street, which statistically means that your visitor’s vehicle will be the one that is most likely to be broken into or outright stolen, which neither situation is going to be covered by YOUR Renter’s Insurance, although management will still refuse being held accountable for. You’d think they could at least provide a couple of security cameras, even if only to serve as a deterrent. Although I doubt that the management here would actually be proactive enough to use them help identify or catch car prowlers/thieves after the fact. It would cost them money and would do nothing to protect THEIR assets, after all.
If I could give this apartment a 0 I would. I just moved out and I had so many problems. Nothing worked properly, the apartment smelled like cigarette smoke and the walls are so thin you can hear your neighbors. The "NEW" management is no better than the old ones. The gym is bare and they have no real equipment. They have no amazon hub so you can only get your packages during office hours, which is a problem if you work normal hours. Overall a terrible experience. Save your time and money and LOOK SOMEWHERE ELSE. You'll thank me later.
Property Manager at The Becket, Responded To This Review
Hi! I am really sorry you had a bad experience. We have worked really hard to improve customer experience up to and including adding Amazon Lockers. As of February, we now have amazon lockers so there will no longer be an issue getting your package after hours. As for our fitness center, we have all kinds of equipment including ellipticals, bikes, treadmills, and most major weight machine equipment. If you are looking for something in particular, please contact the office and let us know. We would be happy to look into it for you! If you have any further feedback on how we can improve our service please contact our office. We would love to hear it so that we can improve. Sincerely, The Becket Management
No parking! Residents get to register guest and there isn't enough parking for paying tenants!
