Property Ratings at The Beeker
The apartment is nice and what we expected but myself and other residents I've spoken to are unable to get into contact with the leasing office or the emergency line through their contact numbers. No one has ever even answered a call and I've never been called back when leaving a voicemail with my contact information. If you never have any problems then this place will be fine. God forbid you to have an emergency because you will most likely not be able to get immediate help. The Borror owns many properties downtown and it's obviously too much for them to handle because they don't even have someone to answer the phone during their operating hours. If you need maintenance don't bother calling submit it through the online portal. The maintenance man is wonderful and always does a great job.
I love living in the beeker. It’s so nice and always clean. All the employees are sooo friendly! My boyfriend Andreas and I love it!
I have lived at the Beeker since they opened. Very modern floor plans and décor throughout the building. Compared to most apartments, you get very little noise from neighboring units. Each unit has a built in wifi router in the ceiling (which is included in your rent. However, if the wifi goes out, which is has many times, it takes longer than you would except for the building to get that back up and running. Huge roof top patio for residents with two large grills, furniture, inside area with tv, fridge, sink, ect. The inside area opens up to the outside with garage like door features. I will say there have been many maintenance issues. My AC unit was fried for a week or so and when they replaced it they did not clean up after. Parking spots are available (garage parking under the building & a lot at ground level). You are assigned a spot via hang tag, residents to do respect that and management does not enforce it. Overall, I do enjoy living at the Beeker. Great location for the price
I have lived here for two years and love it. There is secure parking, a gorgeous rooftop with a view of downtown & Short North. The best restaurants are within walking or delivery range. Campus is around the corner and in the heart of Italian Village. They allow dogs but do not have a dog park or doggy area - the surrounding neighborhood is safe to walk though. All in all a great building to call home!
I have never had an issue with living here and they keep it as clean as they can. I will for sure be staying here. Great location and great people.
