I had toured this property yesterday, I have been touring many apartments across the city. I had like the space and price that was offered. The apartment and price that was offered was offered and toured by Kristy who was nice enough on the first day, however I told her I would want my boyfriend to see and we arranged for literally the next morning to tour the apartment at then price I was interested (today). We arranged for 9am (literally opening) and she showed up at 9:18 even her coworker was like “wow shes not here yet?” Then Kristy gets in and we go hi good morning how are you and she doesn’t even look at us and sits and stares at her screen and goes “give me a minute”... very rude it take S the S same amount of time time to said I’m good thank you... then proceeds to tell us the apartment I made my boyfriend drive across town to view was already rented and tried to continue by selling us and up charging us on another apartment. I asked her why she didn’t call us to let us know so that we didn’t waste my boyfriend and I’s time waking up before work to drive across town to see something she offered to us. she offered zero apologies and was very rude during the entire interaction. We left, if this is how their management is before you even sign a lease I cannot imagine the miscommunication and failed actions once you’re apart of the community. FYI/PSA multiple other “sister” properties to this apartment with identical apartments that are offering better deals as well so not a loss but a huge waste of time and extremely unprofessional.

I have to move to attend to my ailing mother and was charged 3 months rent for moving out. This move was unexpected and the management team made it worse. I was told to get out and get a life.

We signed what we thought was a short-term lease for an apartment that we admit is nice, roomy, well laid-out and in good condition. Little did we know that three months may be long-term at Belmont. This place is little more than transient lodging. I have stayed in dormitories that were quieter. Neighbors treat common areas as if they are cracker barrels - and so at all hours of the night. Cell-phone companies offer better response to complaints than the management here. The only way that a peaceful night's sleep may be ensured is with cold, snowy weather. I don't suppose that will be happening anytime soon.
My experience with this apartment complex has been completely unprofessional. Signed up a month ago to move in at the end of June and was told a few days ago the apartment I put a holding deposit on was unavailable due to the resident changing their mind. Was given two other options and chose another after I had to extend my lease on my current place. Same thing happened. My current complex checked to make sure no one else had held my unit before I could extend my lease. I am completely blown away by Belmont's policy of just extending the lease for everyone on a resident's whim when the unit has already been held. The time driving to and from here, time off work and complete lack of care for the inconvenience caused is despicable.
The Belmont has been great to us since we have moved in! Everyone in the leasing office are always so nice & address any issues I have if I call. They offered promotions/floor plans when we came to check the apartment out & also worked with us with any concerns we had. A great feature I love as well is the on site security that they have at night on property. Instead of having a code for the gate, they can attach it to the cell phone on file to allow guests in that you authorize which is wonderful!
The good thing is that there are private garages. My building is fairly quiet. The pool and property is very nice. I do not like the process to get maintenance to take care of repairs in my apartment. I suppose many of us complained loud enough that they are finally giving "windows of time" on Tuesday for an appointment instead of waiting around all day for maintenance to show up. The air conditioner works great and overall it's not so bad. It is gated but don't let that give you a false sense of security. There have been car break-ins. Keep your valuable hidden from view.
Noisy, incoming & outgoing gates always broken, staff doesn't get back to you when there are issues, they lost my apt key after I lived there 2 wks & had to duplicate mine instead of changing the lock, office hours are not convenient for renters, "treats/activities" for the month are during work hours, etc. By far the worst place I have ever lived! Can't wait for my lease to be up so I can get out of here!
So as the title says I am a first time apartment renter. From my experience here at the Belmont though I really like the apartment complex. The office staff is very friendly and understanding for the weird situation that my girlfriend and I are in at the moment. There are quite a few restaurants and stores in the neighborhood from the major chains to the more family owned for a variety of places to go. The complex is close to the airport, but not so close that there is any noise pollution. The Strip is only a 15-20 minute drive for quite a bit of fun. If you wanted to stay in there are 3 pools that are generally kept clean and seem to be always sunny. The only down side is that at times maintenance can be some what unreliable with there service. At times they come within the same day of putting in a ticket; at other times they can not come for days when they say they are going to. When they do show up they are nice and professional with decent work.
Las Vegas has many beautiful apartment complexes and The Belmont is most definitely one of them! With its gorgeous views from some apartments to the amazing pools that it has to offer. The staff is unbelievably helpful, approachable and all around is here to make your life here better. They work with you on helping make your apartment all that it can be and more. If you have an issue you can easily talk with them and they get it fixed asap. If you need anything, from food to entertainment, everything is pretty close by. And you're just a quick 10 minutes or so from the strip! The gates are a nice added touch too with the fact that they close every night at 6. It makes the complex feel extremely safe and homey.
