I love living here! Being a smaller building, there’s a great community feel. It’s very nice to get to know the people who work here and neighbors who live here. The apartments and amenities are all very nice, but my absolute favorite part is the pool deck in the summer — it’s a beautiful oasis that makes you feel like you’re on vacation!

Very smooth move in process and felt welcomed from the beginning. So far, there have been no issues and I have felt supported along the entire way. In regard to my unit itself, I am happy with its condition and was impressed with how clean it was given to me, along with a welcome gift. Thank you!

With a skilled and cooperative management staff, exquisite amenities, sparkling clean common areas, a charming and helpful door staff, and an efficient and expert maintenance staff, the Bernardin is a terrific building. It is a great place to live. Throughout the building, things are done quickly and at the highest level. I feel most fortunate to be living in The Bernardin.

We just moved in and the staff has been extremelynhelpful. Everyone we meet who is a current resident speaks very highly of the building and , in the short time we've been here everything has run smoothly.

The Bernardin is a terrific building. Its office staff, its door staff, and its maintenance staff are professional, responsive, efficient, and charming. It is a pleasure to deal with them. The building's amenities are simply breathtaking. The club on the 25th floor is beautiful, the workout area is above all expectation, and the lobby is a gem of design and comfort.

Easy move in and was super clean! Really recommend this apartment and in a great location near so many amazing restaurants and grocery stores.

I really enjoy living at The Bernardin. The people - property managers, maintenance, concierge - are all extremely friendly, welcoming, and professional. I enjoy using the amenities and rarely run into issues. I do like the recent refresh of the building too. I plan on staying for a while!

The Bernardin is a terrific place to live. The staff is professional, efficient, and charming. The lobby and other amenity area are exquisite. As good as it looks plus great service. Location is great, amenities, everybody from staff to residents are all super friendly. If you want to participate, there are plenty of ways to meet people.

Management has been very helpful, we just moved in and the space was very clean and had no issues, easy move in process. Staff have been very friendly and eager to help with any questions!

Smooth and easy move in! Staff was helpful and assisted with any asks we had. The alley we pulled into had enough space to park our uhaul and the freight elevator was a short walk away.

I really enjoy it so far. The staff here is so nice. They always answer my questions timely. And the building here is clean and bright. Everything is very new.

My experience at The Bernardin has been both very professional and pleasant. Starting with the management team of Diana, Krystle and Jonathan I find them to be very accommodating by being quick to respond to questions as well as resolving any issue. In addition the concierge and engineering folks are first class. Although The Bernardin is undergoing a major upgrade, which is somewhat disruptive, it is clear that the end result will be well worth it.

Spacious units with lots of light. Door staff is super friendly! Sometimes you have to follow up with maintenance a few times before they address an issue, but if you call they'll usually handle! Really enjoy living here.

Great experience so far, the leasing office people are very friendly and helpful, and the front desk staff is excellent! The building have all my desired amenities, although the dog run is a bit small. Overall recommended for the location and square footage of the apartments.

The apartment is nice and the location is great but maintenance has really been lacking. We've been here a month and still don't have cold water.

Constant construction noise throughout the building. I get that they are trying to update the apartment building to make it more modern but this is getting ridiculous. Not only that, a washing machine recently broke down in a unit like 10 floors above ours and flooded all the units below including mine and they weren't apologetic AT ALL and didn't even offer to compensate us for the inconvenience - having to let people in and out of our apt for days, or for having to live in an apt with water damaged floors, or for all the electricity they used in our unit running the fans and dehumidifiers to rectify something that we didn't even cause. We've put in a few maintenance requests yet they never bothered to fix anything yet they always demand immediate entry to our apartment whenever they suspect there may be an issue. Seems like they care more about renovating the older units so they can charge more rent for them than maintaining the existing units that residents currently live in

All good! A definitely special place. There are many elements in evaluating our community and The Bernardin knocks the rating of each of them "out of the park".

Lived in this building for the past 4 years and have never had any issue till now. The property manager is very unprofessional and rude, and my husband and I have had to deal with a crazy neighbor that has been accusing us and getting the management to harass us for things we haven't even done. Instead of speaking directly with us she'll retaliate by banging on the wall whenever we are watching TV in our bedroom, accuse us of smoking weed and get the conceirge or building management to either constantly call us or knock on our door. It's ridiculous. Ever since Lincoln property has taken over the management there's been nothing but issues, and the management loves to threaten residents with evictions and 10 day notices whenever there is an issue. It's honestly really sad because this community used to be great and we used to love living here. Would never recommend this building to anyone as long as Lincoln property is managing the place.

I love my apartment (my space), I love how small the building is, but rent prices are too high and the building offers nothing that other buildings don't have.

The location is amazing. The staff, especially Andre and Alejandro, are wonderful. They make our day whenever we see them. Our biggest complaint is the noise from the seeming never ending sirens down Chicago Ave but there's not much the building can do about that.

The Bernardin has it all. The spacious apartment we moved into was immaculately cleaned prior to our arrival. While a few minor maintenance issues existed, management fixed them within 24 hours. I can't say enough about the friendly tenants and the even friendlier concierges. While we haven't used the various amenities as of yet, the pool is sparkling, the hot tub inviting, and the fitness equipment is brand new! Just a matter of time. The location is prime - a plethora of restaurants, coffee shops, nail salons and other businesses are just a few steps away. The red line is one block west and Michigan Ave is one block east. Who could ask for more? We are truly loving our new home!
