Located about 10 miles northeast of Downtown Dallas, Vickery is a diverse neighborhood overflowing with shopping, dining, and entertainment options. This urban neighborhood houses the Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital, authentic global eateries, and several large shopping centers including the Shops at Park Lane, a sprawling commercial complex with brand-name retailers, a bowling alley, restaurants, and more. Besides the fact that I killed 10+ millipedes(not an exaggeration it was probably like 15) on my first day in the apartment (before I even moved any of my stuff in) every time I go to stop by the office to ask a question no ones seems to have the answer they always say the manager isn't here or they'll be back and then I come back later and the manager either isn't back or the manager doesn't have the answer and has to ask their manager. Also I wish I knew this before i rented but although the rent they post online is really low, theres a bunch of hidden fees that will be included in most other apartments' rent prices. For example last month I paid an extra $100+ for a one bedroom in fees like their water, sewer, gas, stormwater, pest control(which u get charged even if u dont ask for it), and a million other fees with random names.

I recently had an issue with my AC at my apartment and submitted a work order late Sunday night. I also placed a follow-up call to explain the seriousness of the issue. To my surprise, the maintenance team knocked at my door early Monday morning. I was blown away by the level of responsiveness and efficiency demonstrated by this team. The property management did not only ensure that my issue got resolved quickly but they also followed up to check if everything was working properly and that I was satisfied with the service. I am very grateful to live in a community managed by a dedicated property management staff that value their residents’ needs. My special thanks to DeeDee and her team for their outstanding service and for making me feel like a valued member of this community. Although it’s almost midnight, I don’t want to sleep without thanking them and forget about it while sleeping in the comfort that resulted from their service. Thus, I’m writing this review so that I wouldn’t feel guilty for not giving credit where it is due. I said it before and I will repeat it now, I love my place so do my friends and family members who are happy for me to be here. I highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a great place to call home that’s conveniently located to anything one mostly needs!
This management company didn't refund my security deposit even though I never moved in. Stay as far away as possible from them. They deleted my rentcafe account once I asked them to refund the security deposit. Luckily, I have screenshot of payment activities on rentcafe site and the bank statement to make formal legal complaint.
You truly get what you pay for here. The price is great, you won’t be able to find a cheaper apartment. They just redid the exterior, the interior has old shag carpeting that is worn and smells. The central AC is loud and noisy. There is a CONSTANT issue with the hot water. They will turn off the water for days at a time. The roaches were so bad, I put in multiple pest control requests. Nothing was done, until I treated my own apartment with boric acid and sent their corporate office, pictures of all the dead roaches in my apartment. They had to come out and BOMB the entire building, the cockroaches were so bad. Another tenant moved in shortly after I did and he too had to have his entire apartment treated to the point, he couldn’t live there for 2 days because the chemicals were so strong. I had applied, gotten approved and paid the security deposit. I was moving here sight unseen from Chicago, in August 2018 and starting a new job a few days later. Money was tight to say the very least. I’m in the parking lot with my whole life in the back of my truck, the leasing agent “forgot” to tell me their was a 400 dollar bad credit fee. She had an entire week to finalize my application and I get hit with this. Jerri (the manager) is shady and incompetent. I moved out and sent her an email apprising her of my move out date. She never responded with a clear cut itemization of fees or prorated rent. A few days later I find out I owe 400 dollars in additional fees and rent. If you need somewhere cheap to live and you can deal with the neighborhood (5 points neighborhood of north Dallas) then this may suit you. Just be forewarned, these are the issues at The Biltmore and they won’t be changing anytime soon.

I am sure you will be happy to learn that we are currently updating our apartment homes as well!! We have spoken with the Community Manager to address your concerns. We understand that we were unable to assess move-out fees or damage charges when you turned in keys due to an additional occupant still residing in the apartment home. While the additional occupant remained in the home, you continued to incur rental charges. Once the apartment home had been fully vacated, we walked the apartment home with you to assess damages at that time. Don’t let the new paint job fool you, this is still the same miserable fath biltmore property. Heartless, overwhelmed and often astoundingly confused employees man these offices. No big deal if your requests will go unheard or take much longer than you would anticipate. Oh and on occasion you might randomly get slapped with a violation that they will definitely collect on. It’s a terrible place to live, nestled in a not so friendly neighborhood. Spend the extra $100 and look somewhere else.

The neighborhood is dangerous, the grounds are filthy, the apartment stank, the office staff is terrible, and we had to move out because of a sewage leak in the ceiling of the bathroom and the kitchen that went on unrepaired for two months. Tried to say we skipped out on the bill even though we had a letter from corporate.
You will regret signing a lease at this property. Save yourself the trouble. The cons are there is no assigned parking, they have minimal maintenance workers and will leave requests unfulfilled for months, and the staff will not follow through or follow up on things they say they will. You will pay for pest control every month, but the pest control team never comes to spray, so expect roaches. You will not get professional service in the leasing office as they always switching up office staff and hire temp workers that are not highly skilled in leasing and customer service. Also expect to wait at the gate entrances behind neighbors who do not have the gate card or remote and as a result holds up traffic to enter the property. Property is old and needs updates and better maintenance. Stairs and foundations are cracking. Take my advice and seek residence elsewhere.
Please try to find another place. This is very bad location. They will take your money and you will face a very poor management.

These apartments are pretty standard, although some of the floorplans have roomy kitchens and faux hardwood floors. I also liked getting a free accent wall, from a pre-selected range of colors. Most of the neighbors in the complex are alright, but the neighborhood can be sketchy at night. Just got an additional lock for my door for peace of mind because I couldn't afford the security/alarm system they have available. If you pay a monthly fee, it will call the police and sound an alarm if someone breaks in. I must say that several of the office staff are the most helpful I've ever encountered. The stress-free conversations with management was the main reason I moved here.
