Property Ratings at The Birchway Apartments
DO NOT MOVE HERE THE APARTMENTS ARE INVESTED WITH MICE. Please listen to reviews even when they are from 4 years ago. When I first came here I was in love, it’s so beautiful and cozy. The neighbors are great and it is super quiet, but for over a month I have been dealing with incident after incident. The maintenance is top tier, but the route of the problem isn’t being taken seriously. The City of New Hope came out today and took a look at my apartment. I am very clean so clearly they didn’t find much. I showed the evidence that I did have… the videos of the mice scratching in the walls, the pictures of the damage it has caused, the mouse I caught in my sons room that came out from under my sons bed and almost touched my children as they were playing on the floor. I have had other encounters of contact as well. Just last Wednesday another mouse weeks after the first incident came running in my room, as my children and I were trying to sleep. I was so distraught and uncomfortable that I packed my kids up and spent the night at my moms. Following staying four nights in a hotel as this time I did not catch the mouse and was concerned for my children’s safety. When I asked for a refund for my hotel stay due to the inhabitable living conditions. I was told by Terri it was “my choice to leave”. It wasn’t my choice to have mice. I also asked for a refund for all my repellents and devices to attempt to keep my living space safe and clean for my kids, management didn’t care. Most importantly, I asked to end my lease as I have given an ample amount of time for management to get rid of these pests and that has not occurred. They have refused. Adam’s pest control has been out twice to my apartment. (The route of the problem is not here). Upon talking to other residents everyone of them has seen or heard mice in every building. Some of these residents have been here for a year+. I am hoping now that the city has came out, management will do more to provide clean and safe living conditions. They made renovations that attract the eye, but the apartments are infested. To each is own, but everything that glitters isn’t gold.

Application process made it very difficult to be able to relocate to the area.
As a 6.5yr resident here, i have nothing bad to say. It's a nice area, the apartments are spacious, rent is affordable, and the employees are friendly, while still maintaining professionalism. The new owners of this complex are making huge changes in the short time they've owned the property, too. This place needed some TLC. Kleinman is delivering. And for the record, I'm so grateful property manager Terri is keeping her position with the new owners. She is the reason this place runs so smooth, day in, day out.

I have lived here for 11 years, raised my kids here and have been really happy. ?? The management has always been awesome! The owners have recently changed, and are amping up the renovations here. I am excited for all the new amenities and updates, I hope to live here for years to come. It is a mostly quiet complex with friendly people, close to shopping, eating, schools and easy access to highways. I think you would love it too!
