Property Ratings at The Bluestone Apartments
This is the worst experience I have ever had anywhere living. The apartment was dark and dirty the day we moved in. The neighbors are loud and sometimes you can’t find a chair to sit in at the tiny pool. The repairs get halfway done if at all. The apartment manager seems to change weekly. Once they refused to give me a package because it was addressed to my wife. This place isn’t worth what you have to pay. Go anywhere else and fast.
If you don’t break down your pizza boxes, the valet trash won’t take it. This is a real thing that happens here. From the lazy vendors described above to the incompetent office staff, Continental Reality has absolutely no idea what the term community means. Everything they do, every decision they make, is about what’s best for their own bottom line, not the community. Communication here is abysmal. Practically non existent. The emails they send consistently have wrong information contained within them, and genuinely feel like they are automated and pulled from a folder that never gets updated. They will threaten to fine you if you do something that dirties the grounds, but they have no interest in actually cleaning the grounds unless a resident is paying for it, apparently. They removed the grills and hammocks for nearly the entire winter without so much as an explanation as to what was happening. This is just a sampling of what you will get here, overpriced garbage, bad communication, and a constant barrage of monetary threats. Renters beware!
They treat residents like garbage and worse than you'll ever experience
No where to park, dirty buildings, lazy and always changing management. Last summer there was no management and nobody at the office to even get in contact with. Price of rent keeps going up while your access to the amenities in the community becomes slimmer and slimmer do not move here

This complex allows trash to litter the ground. The compactor is broken and they pile trash in a portable dumpster until it overflows onto the ground. They never answer the phone when you call the office. The grounds are dirty. There are multiple junk cars and bikes that litter the parking lot. When you visit the office the same person is never there. They have weekly turnover of the office staff.

This place is pretty on the outside as for the buildings and amenity areas. However, most of the people that live here do not care about their home area. Breezeways get disgusting so quick. People leave their trash outside their door and the flies and smells are disgusting. There is not nearly enough parking. It is a nightmare. And don’t even think about getting stuff fixed. S-l-o-w!! Or it never gets fixed. After 2 maintenance requests and a phone call to the office I still have only 3 working burners on my stove. My screened in porch is useless as the screen is not attached at the bottom so it gets full of bugs. The outside storage is useless as it is covered by mold and mildew. I am partially through my second year here and only stayed because literally nothing else was available during the time I needed to move.
This place is awful. Everything about is deceiving! The maintenance, the staff, the cleanliness, the parking, the list of problems that are still not fixed fixed. They pretend to care about things, and do nothing to fix the problems. Go somewhere else! Seriously these 7 months have been a nightmare.

Hi, thank you for bringing this matter to our attention. We regret that you had a negative experience, and will use this as an opportunity to improve.
We've lived at the Bluestone for going on 2 years, and we love it. The people who work in the clubhouse are personable, eager to handle any issues we ever have, treat us like real humans, and are prompt in the execution of tasks. The amenities have been updated and was honestly like you're on vacation. Great gym, outside lounging, grilling areas, and a dog park for our pooch (yes they allow pets, and leave treat out at the clubhouse for her for whenever we drop by!). Thankful to feel at home somewhere that's not an actual house.

I just renewed my second year lease. The Bluestone is a fun, social, family friendly community. The amenities are excellent and the staff is friendly.

Hi, We are very happy we could provide you with a positive experience! We value your input, your residency and appreciate your participation with our community efforts in our events.
The leasing office was very helpful with my move from out of state to here! I really like the location of the property, amenities and that it’s very pet friendly! The gym is also awesome and you get 24 hr access! Definitely a good pick.

Hi, We are very happy we could provide you with a positive experience! We appreciate your time in writing your thoughts on our community and our team.
A lot of new changes have taken places over the last year. You can see that the new staff in place are really putting in the effort to rebrand this community. I would suggest checking it out for yourself as past reviews shouldn't reflect the community in place now. I look forward to see the bluestone evolve and being a member of the community!

The complex it self looks nice, pretty standard look, nothing very original or ground breaking. It does not have secure access, the lighting at night can be sub-par. Several people have complained about the lighting and feeling unsafe at night walking through the parking lots. I have been here since Oct 2016 and have yet to be able to access the fitness center, pool, or club house. The ladies at the office are more than willing to help you if they can, currently the office is located in a unit. Maintenance will take weeks to answer a work order and you are extreamly luck if they fix it the first time, most of the time you will put in the same work order about 3 or 4 times before anything actually gets fixed. I personally rent a 2 bedroom unit with my girlfriend so I can only speak for the 2 bedrooms. The front door leads to a very long and useless hallway, that's only purpose is to house the closet (at the end of the hallway. The living room is oddly small for an 1100 sqft apartment, has a hinge door instead of a slider out to the balcony/patio. The eat in area is large and we have put up several shelving units for more storage since the kitchen lacks a pantry and really any storage or counter space at all. Seriously, the kitchen is tiny, there is only one other property that I have seen in the area that has a smaller kitchen. The utility room is off the kitchen and houses the washer and dryer. Slightly older models for the washer and dryer but they run and function just fine. The bedrooms are pretty standard size both with walk in closets. The master bathroom is fairly small but that is fine for us. The guest bathroom/main bathroom is huge, I mean HUGE. There is no point for a bathroom to be that large, an incredible amount of wasted space. The guest bathroom also houses the linen storage, note I said storage as it is just open shelving instead of a standard linen closet. Don't hope to get parking near your building if you don't work a regular 8-5, and even then it can be iffy. There are a lot of work vans and trucks that park in the lots. There are also some trailers even though no work trailers are permitted on property. Several parking spaces are taken but guests of residence as the parking regulations are not enforced in the slightest. They do not have secured access to the property so anyone can come in and out and park all night if they would like.

Very nice and comfortable living. A great family environment.
This is my Second time going back to The Lakes at Myrtle Park. The rooms and closets are very Spacious. The apartments are clean and up to date. And everyone on staff are friendly and professional which I have not found elsewhere around the area.
Not only is the apartment beautiful inside with updated fixtures and tray ceilings, but picture your balcony surrounded by mature palm trees, lush landscaping, water and pools. You’ll be walking distance to shops, salons and grocery or take a bike ride to the nearby Outlet malls, library even thrift stores! I’ve lived here 3 years and the management, and maintenance crew aim to please. Quiet, safe, luxurious and affordable…a great place to call home.
This complex is dynamitr. I love it. I highly recommend it
When I moved here I loved the location and the curb appeal of this community. During the application process and the viewing of the model it was a very nice experience. After signing the lease and moving in I had no idea of what was to come. I looked forward to seeing my apartment as it was the same floor plan as the model. Well was I in for a surprise, the breezeway entry was dirty with lights not working and my apartment door was in desperate need of painting. So let's start with the excuses, the previous tenant was late moving out so they were rushed getting it ready for me to move in. Inside of apartment was not much better, cleaning was sub par at best the ceiling fan and lights were not working with the switches as they should the toilets were like rocking chairs. With these issues resolved I hoped the worst was over and it was for a while. This could be a novel but the short version is that the staffing turnover here has to be a sign of problems at the upper level of management. It's nice to see the same people working on the property as it builds trust and confidence as you will be allowing these people into your home when you are not there. The only two people who have been working since I came here are the property manager and the grounds worker. Maintenance went for months with only one person for the entire property. Until changes are made at the top level I can't recommend you move here but the few workers they have are knowledgeable and friendly they just don't stay around very long. But if you have a problem just see the property manager and she will surely have an excuse for what ever is wrong.
I have lived here for a year while looking for a home to purchase in the area. I have always had any problems fixed quickly, a new faucet in the Kitchen, Dryer heating problem fixed, all within a day or two. The staff is friendly. Some people think they are too stuffy, I feel they are doing a hard job with just a few people. They run the place very well. Only problems I have had have been with a few tenets parking where it states "No Parking" and occasional loud voices outside. I would make 1 suggestion, have a security guard drive around the complex at night. It would not cost much, but it would add a bit of a secure feeling due to the fact that there are 3 entrances/exits and no gates.
This could be a very nice property if you they had a nice property manager because the one that they have now she's real nasty she makes the property looks bad if you ask for the home office number oh she can't give it to really where do they do that at that's why they always have new staff working in there
When my husband and I moved in here almost 3-years ago, it was a great find. The staff was friendly, the amenities were good, the location is absolutely great. However, last year a new property management company took over and the entire feel of the complex has changed. They have taken away the computer lab and have put it in the lobby of the main office, so you can only access it during office hrs. Good luck getting on a computer while the office employees children are there. The rules they now have in place for the overall complex are ridiculous. The best of the office staff is no longer employed with the company, and in their place are rude, ill-equipped people who love nothing more than writing notices charging fees. The rent, which was once a fair price, has consistently gone up, even thought the amenities and service have been in serious decline. Had my husband and I have known when we moved in what an uncomfortable experience living here would be we would have looked elsewhere.
