River Hills is a calm suburb in northeast Burnsville. River Hills is great for any type of renter, but the neighborhood is very family-friendly with several schools and daycares in the area. This small area is best known for its quick access to gorgeous natural areas. The community is nestled beside the Minnesota Valley National Wildlife Refuge. This park encompasses three different habitats, making it excellent for birdwatching, hiking, and wildlife photography. The Minnesota Valley National Wildlife Refuge is a local favorite, of course, but there a lot of parks in this small community as well. If you’re looking to be in a more secluded area but still close to entertainment, dining, and shopping, River Mills is a great option.

River Mills provides convenience at every turn when it comes to shopping and dining. There is a commercial center in town, but there great options nearby as well.

If I could do a negative star review I would . Very dirty carpets in the hallway smell like urine . Certain employees are very nosey and like drama very unprofessional. Leaks on the roof Leaks on the AC. Units Maintenances never fix anything correctly poor work I have pictures to prove what a horrible job they do stay far away from this place eww .

DO NOT RENT HERE!

Please don’t not rent here, they will charge you extra upon move out and add on charges that you did not cause. If you want to lose out on your deposit and have to pay extra money then this is the place for you.

Nice Place to live

I've been living here for a few years now. I really like the place! This has been my experience, the office staff is very friendly. They are very responsive to issues and they are always on top of everything. You can't really hear much from other neighbors.

VERY NICE PLACE TO LIVE

I'm a young single woman and have lived here almost a year. I've never felt unsafe. The buildings/grounds are always clean and well kept. Office staff is kind and responsive. Maintenance also responds quickly. It's quiet - I never hear my neighbors and I know they have a toddler. I'm not sure what else I could ask for.

This place....

Where to begin. The management company that runs this place is a joke. Didn't help out anything that I had asked to either be fixed or my neighbors throwing their cig buts on my side of the deck. Hallway always smelled like cig smoke. Female neighbor always wandered around in her underwear and shirt all hours of the day. Had 40-50 people in and out...pretty sure she was dealing drugs or her body. They never sent out a notice to the building like they were going to. The only good thing about this place is that you only have to pay for electric and Internet. I definitely WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE. Or any other property that this management company owns.

Nice Place to Live

I have lived here for almost a year now and I enjoy my apartment. Overall the building is quiet and the office people are nice and try to help with whatever they can within reason. The pool is nice, I love the card laundry machines and I have never felt unsafe here. They are pet friendly which is nice and the grounds and buildings are always well maintained and clean. The only negative thing I have to say are that my neighbors in particular are very loud and have a constant flow of visitors in and out throughout the day and night. They also smoke on their deck and it all comes into my apartment, as well as the fact that their butts end up on my deck as well. After complaining to management about it, they offered to write up a notice to them, and our entire floor so as not to single them out, but it never happened. I am moving out soon so I will not have to deal with it much longer but it is still unpleasant.

This place is great, the staff are friendly and helpful with anything I need within reason, the rooms are a good size and I feel save here.
